1 L et God arise, let his enemies be scattered, and let them that hate him flee before him.

Când Dumnezeu Se ridică, duşmanii Lui să fie împrăştiaţi şi cei ce-L urăsc să fugă dinaintea feţei Sale.

2 A s smoke is driven, thou wilt drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, the wicked shall perish at the presence of God.

Îi risipeşti precum se risipeşte fumul; precum se topeşte ceara din cauza focului aşa pier cei răi dinaintea lui Dumnezeu.

3 B ut the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.

Cei drepţi însă se bucură, se veselesc înaintea lui Dumnezeu şi chiuie de bucurie.

4 S ing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.

Cântaţi-I lui Dumnezeu, lăudaţi Numele Lui, înălţaţi-L pe Cel Ce călăreşte pe nori şi al Cărui Nume este Domnul. Veseliţi-vă înaintea Lui!

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

În Lăcaşul Său cel sfânt, Dumnezeu este tatăl orfanilor şi apărătorul văduvelor.

6 G od maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched.

Dumnezeu dă o familie celor însinguraţi şi îi conduce spre belşug pe cei care sunt captivi; cei răzvrătiţi însă locuiesc într-un ţinut arid.

7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness—(Selah)—

Dumnezeule, când Tu ai ieşit înaintea poporului Tău, când Tu ai mărşăluit prin pustie … Sela

8 T he earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

pământul s-a cutremurat, cerurile au picurat înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul Sinaiului, înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul lui Israel.

9 T hou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.

Dumnezeule, Tu ai legănat ca daruri de bunăvoie ploile; Tu Ţi-ai pregătit astfel moştenirea istovită.

10 T hy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!

Poporul Tău a locuit-o din nou; Tu ai pregătit bunătăţile Tale pentru cel sărman, Dumnezeule!

11 T he Lord gives the word: great the host of the publishers.

Stăpânul a vorbit, iar purtătoarele de veşti s-au făcut o armată mare:

12 K ings of armies flee; they flee, and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.

„Regii oştirilor au fugit în mare grabă, iar cel rămas acasă a împărţit prada.

13 T hough ye have lain among the sheepfolds, wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.

Chiar în timp ce voi vă odihniţi la stâne aripile porumbelului sunt acoperite cu argint şi penele lui cu aur sclipitor.“

14 W hen the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon.

Când i-a risipit Atotputernicul pe regi, parcă ningea în Ţalmon.

15 m ount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, mount Bashan.

Munţii Başan sunt munţi maiestuoşi, munţii Başan sunt munţi cu multe piscuri.

16 W hy do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell for ever.

Munţi cu multe piscuri, de ce invidiaţi muntele unde Îi place lui Dumnezeu să locuiască? Cu siguranţă Domnul locuieşte acolo pe vecie.

17 T he chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.

Carele lui Dumnezeu sunt cu miile şi cu miile de mii. Stăpânul vine în ele din Sinai, în Lăcaşul Lui cel sfânt.

18 T hou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even the rebellious, for the dwelling of Jah Elohim.

Când Te-ai suit în înălţime, ai luat în sclavie captivitatea; ai luat daruri pentru oameni, chiar şi pentru cei răzvrătiţi, ca ei, Doamne Dumnezeule, să locuiască acolo.

19 B lessed be the Lord: day by day doth he load us, the God who is our salvation. Selah.

Binecuvântat să fie Stăpânul, Care ne poartă poverile zi de zi, Dumnezeul mântuirii noastre. Sela

20 O ur God is the God of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth from death.

Dumnezeul nostru este un Dumnezeu al izbăvirilor. De la Stăpânul Domn vine scăparea de moarte.

21 V erily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.

Cu siguranţă Dumnezeu va zdrobi capul duşmanilor Săi, creştetul celor ce umblă în nelegiuirile lor.

22 T he Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring again from the depth of the sea;

Stăpânul zice: „Îi voi aduce înapoi din Başan, îi voi aduce înapoi din adâncurile mării,

23 T hat thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.

ca să-ţi scufunzi picioarele în sânge, iar limba câinilor tăi să-şi ia partea din duşmanii tăi.“

24 T hey have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

Dumnezeule, ei privesc procesiunea intrării Tale, a intrării Dumnezeului meu, a Împăratului meu, în Lăcaşul cel sfânt.

25 T he singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.

În faţă merg cântăreţii, urmaţi de cei cu instrumente, iar în centru sunt fetele cu tamburine.

26 I n the congregations bless ye God, the Lord,— from the fountain of Israel.

Binecuvântaţi-L pe Dumnezeu în adunare, pe Domnul – la izvoarele lui Israel!

27 T here is little Benjamin, their ruler; the princes of Judah, their company; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.

Acolo se află şi tânărul Beniamin, conducătorul lor, căpeteniile lui Iuda cu mulţimile lor, căpeteniile lui Zabulon, căpeteniile lui Neftali.

28 T hy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

Învredniceşte-Te cu tărie, Dumnezeule, arată-ne puterea Ta, Dumnezeule, aşa cum ai făcut şi înainte pentru noi!

29 B ecause of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

Din pricina Templului Tău de la Ierusalim, regii Îţi vor aduce daruri.

30 R ebuke the beast of the reeds, the assembly of the strong, with the calves of the peoples: submitteth himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples that delight in war.

Mustră fiara dintre trestii, cireada de tauri dintre viţeii popoarelor, care calcă în picioare bucăţile de argint! Împrăştie popoarele care-şi găsesc plăcerea în război!

31 G reat ones shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God.

Ambasadori vor veni din Egipt; Cuş va alerga cu mâinile întinse spre Dumnezeu.

32 Y e kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,)

Regate ale pământului, cântaţi-I lui Dumnezeu, lăudaţi-L pe Stăpânul, Sela

33 O f him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.

pe Cel Ce călăreşte în ceruri, în cerurile veşnice! Iată, El face cu glasul Său un vuiet puternic!

34 A scribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

Proclamaţi puterea lui Dumnezeu, a Cărui maiestate este peste Israel şi a Cărui putere este în ceruri.

35 T errible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries,—the God of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!

Dumnezeule, Tu eşti înfricoşător în Sfântul Tău Lăcaş; Dumnezeul lui Israel, chiar El dă putere şi tărie poporului! Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeu!
