2 Y e that stand in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of the house of our God.

care staţi în Casa Domnului, în curţile Casei Dumnezeului nostru!

3 P raise ye Jah; for Jehovah is good: sing psalms unto his name; for it is pleasant.

Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul, căci Domnul este bun! Cântaţi Numelui Său, căci este plăcut!

4 F or Jah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, Israel for his own possession.

Căci Domnul l-a ales pe Iacov pentru Sine, l-a ales pe Israel ca să fie comoara Sa.

5 F or I know that Jehovah is great, and our Lord is above all gods.

Eu recunosc că Domnul este mare: Domnul nostru este mai mare decât toţi zeii!

6 W hatsoever Jehovah pleased, he hath done in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all deeps;

Domnul face tot ce-I place, atât în ceruri, cât şi pe pământ, atât pe mări, cât şi în toate adâncurile.

7 W ho causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; who maketh lightnings for the rain; who bringeth the wind out of his treasuries:

El face să se ridice norii de la capătul pământului; El trimite fulgerele care vestesc ploaia şi aduce vântul din cămările lui.

8 W ho smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast;

El este Acela Care a ucis pe întâii născuţi ai Egiptului, de la oameni până la dobitoace.

9 W ho sent signs and miracles into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants;

El a trimis semne şi minuni în mijlocul tău, Egiptule, împotriva lui Faraon şi împotriva tuturor slujitorilor lui.

10 W ho smote great nations, and slew mighty kings,

El a lovit multe neamuri şi a omorât regi puternici:

11 S ihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;

pe Sihon, regele amoriţilor, pe Og, regele Başanului, şi pe regii tuturor regatelor din Canaan.

12 A nd gave their land for an inheritance, an inheritance unto Israel his people.

Apoi a dat ţara acestora ca moştenire, ca moştenire lui Israel, poporul Său.

13 T hy name, O Jehovah, is for ever; thy memorial, O Jehovah, from generation to generation.

Doamne, Numele Tău este veşnic! Doamne, Tu eşti amintit din generaţie în generaţie.

14 F or Jehovah will judge his people, and will repent in favour of his servants.

Căci Domnul face dreptate poporului Său şi are milă de slujitorii Săi.

15 T he idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:

Idolii neamurilor sunt din argint şi din aur, sunt lucrarea mâinilor omeneşti.

16 T hey have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;

Au gură, dar nu pot grăi, au ochi, dar nu pot vedea,

17 T hey have ears, and they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth.

au urechi, dar nu aud, au nas, dar nu au suflare în nările lor.

18 T hey that make them are like unto them,—every one that confideth in them.

Asemenea lor sunt şi cei care i-au întocmit, toţi cei ce se încred în ei.

19 H ouse of Israel, bless ye Jehovah; house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah;

Casă a lui Israel, binecuvântează-L pe Domnul! Casă a lui Aaron, binecuvântează-L pe Domnul!

20 H ouse of Levi, bless ye Jehovah; ye that fear Jehovah, bless Jehovah.

Casă a lui Levi, binecuvântează-L pe Domnul! Cei ce vă temeţi de Domnul, binecuvântaţi-L pe Domnul!

21 B lessed be Jehovah out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem! Hallelujah!

Binecuvântat să fie Domnul din Sion, El Care locuieşte în Ierusalim! Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!
