1 U nto thee, Jehovah, do I call; my rock, be not silent unto me, lest, thou keep silence toward me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Doamne, către Tine strig! Stânca mea, nu rămâne surd la strigătul meu, ca nu cumva, tăcând faţă de mine, să mă asemăn cu cei care se coboară în groapă!

2 H ear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward the oracle of thy holiness.

Ascultă glasul rugilor mele, atunci când strig către Tine după ajutor, atunci când îmi ridic mâinile spre Locul Tău Preasfânt!

3 D raw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbours, and mischief is in their heart.

Nu mă condamna împreună cu cei răi, împreună cu răufăcătorii, cu cei ce vorbesc de pace semenului lor, dar în inima lor este numai răutate.

4 G ive them according to their doing, and according to the wickedness of their deeds; give them after the work of their hands, render to them their desert.

Răsplăteşte-le după faptele lor, după răutatea lucrărilor lor; după faptele mâinilor lor să le răsplăteşti! Întoarce asupra lor răsplata cuvenită!

5 F or they regard not the deeds of Jehovah, nor the work of his hands: he will destroy them, and not build them up.

Pentru că ei nu iau aminte la lucrările Domnului şi la faptele mâinilor Lui, El îi va dărâma şi nu îi va mai zidi la loc!

6 B lessed be Jehovah, for he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

Binecuvântat să fie Domnul, căci El a ascultat glasul rugilor mele!

7 J ehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart confided in him, and I was helped: therefore my heart exulteth, and with my song will I praise him.

Domnul este tăria mea şi scutul meu! În El mi se încrede inima, şi sunt ajutat. De aceea inima mea chiuie de bucurie şi-I aduc mulţumiri prin cântecele mele!

8 J ehovah is their strength; and he is the stronghold of salvation to his anointed one.

Domnul este tăria poporului Său! El este fortăreaţă izbăvitoare pentru unsul Său.

9 S ave thy people, and bless thine inheritance; and feed them, and lift them up for ever.

Mântuieşte-Ţi poporul! Binecuvântează-Ţi moştenirea! Păstoreşte-i şi sprijină-i pe vecie!
