1 T hus saith Jehovah: Keep ye judgment and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: «Căutaţi să judecaţi corect şi faceţi ce este drept! Căci, în curând, mântuirea Mea va veni şi dreptatea Mea va fi arătată.

2 B lessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast to it; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Fericit este omul care face lucrul acesta, care se ţine strâns de el, care păzeşte Sabatul şi nu îl pângăreşte, care îşi fereşte mâna să facă vreun rău.»

3 A nd let not the son of the alien, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak saying, Jehovah hath entirely separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree;

Străinul care se alipeşte de Domnul să nu zică: « Domnul mă va separa, cu siguranţă, de poporul Său!», iar eunucul să nu se plângă zicând: «Sunt doar un copac uscat!»

4 f or thus saith Jehovah: Unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant,

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul: «Eunucilor care păzesc Sabatele Mele, care aleg să facă ceea ce Îmi este plăcut şi care se ţin strâns de legământul Meu

5 e ven unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

le voi da în Casa Mea şi între zidurile Mele un loc de cinste şi un nume mai bun decât al fiilor şi al fiicelor; le voi da un nume veşnic, care nu va fi curmat.

6 A lso the sons of the alien, that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast to my covenant;

Iar pe străinii care se alipesc de Domnul pentru a-I sluji, pentru a iubi Numele Domnului şi pentru a-I fi slujitori – pe toţi cei ce păzesc Sabatul şi nu îl pângăresc, pe toţi cei ce se ţin strâns de legământul Meu –

7 e ven them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar: for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.

pe aceştia îi voi aduce la muntele Meu cel sfânt şi îi voi face să fie plini de bucurie în Casa Mea de rugăciune. Arderile lor de tot şi jertfele lor vor fi acceptate pe altarul Meu, căci Casa Mea va fi numită o casă de rugăciune pentru toate popoarele.»

8 T he Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith: Yet will I gather to him, with those of his that are gathered.

Stăpânul Domn – Cel Care-i adună pe deportaţii lui Israel – zice: «Voi aduna şi pe alţii alături de ei, pe lângă cei deja adunaţi!» Mesajul Domnului către cei nelegiuiţi

9 A ll ye beasts of the field, come to devour, all ye beasts in the forest.

Veniţi, voi, toate vieţuitoarele câmpului! Veniţi şi devoraţi, voi, toate vieţuitoarele pădurii!

10 H is watchmen are all of them blind, they are without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs that cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber:

Străjerii lui Israel sunt orbi, sunt toţi fără cunoaştere. Toţi sunt nişte câini de pază muţi, care nu pot să latre, care stau tolăniţi şi visează şi cărora le place să doarmă.

11 a nd the dogs are greedy, they know not to be satisfied, and these are shepherds that know not how to discern: they all turn to their own way, every one for his gain, even to the last of them:

Sunt nişte câini foarte lacomi, niciodată sătui. Sunt nişte păstori fără pricepere, fiecare urmându-şi propriul drum, fiecare, fără excepţie, umblând după propriul câştig.

12 C ome, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, much more abundant.

«Veniţi! zice fiecare dintre ei. Voi scoate vin şi ne vom îmbăta cu băutură tare! Iar mâine va fi ca azi, ba încă mai bine!»
