1 B lessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways.

Ferice de oricine se teme de Domnul şi umblă pe căile Lui!

2 F or thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Căci atunci vei mânca din munca mâinilor tale, vei fi fericit şi-ţi va fi bine.

3 T hy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table.

Soţia ta va fi ca o viţă roditoare în locurile retrase ale casei tale, fiii tăi vor fi ca lăstarii de măslin împrejurul mesei tale.

4 B ehold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.

Aşa este binecuvântat bărbatul care se teme de Domnul.

5 J ehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life,

Domnul să te binecuvânteze din Sion, ca să vezi propăşirea Ierusalimului în toate zilele vieţii tale

6 A nd see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!

şi să-i vezi pe fiii fiilor tăi! Pacea să fie peste Israel!
