1 A LEPH. Blessed are the perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.

3 W ho also do no unrighteousness: they walk in his ways.

aceia nu săvârşesc nici o nedreptate şi umblă pe căile Lui.

4 T hou hast enjoined thy precepts, to be kept diligently.

Tu ne -ai dat orânduirile Tale, ca să fie păzite cu scumpătate.

5 O h that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

O, de-ar ţinti căile mele să păzească orânduirile Tale!

6 T hen shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Când urmez poruncile Tale, nu mă ruşinez.

7 I will give thee thanks with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

Când voi ajunge să cunosc judecăţile Tale cele drepte, Te voi lăuda în curăţie de inimă.

8 I will keep thy statutes: forsake me not utterly.

Voi păzi orânduirile Tale: nu mă părăsi de tot!

9 B ETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his path? by taking heed according to thy word.

Cum îşi va păstra tânărul curată cărarea? Păzind Cuvântul Tău.

10 W ith my whole heart have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.

Te caut din toată inima mea: nu mă lăsa să mă abat de la poruncile Tale!

11 T hy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Strâng cuvintele Tale în inima mea, ca să nu păcătuiesc împotriva Ta.

12 B lessed art thou, Jehovah! teach me thy statutes.

Binecuvântat să fii Tu, Doamne! Învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

13 W ith my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

Buzele mele vestesc toate judecăţile rostite de gura Ta.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as in all wealth.

Când împlinesc mărturiile Tale, mă bucur de parcă aş avea toate bogăţiile.

15 I will meditate upon thy precepts, and have respect unto thy paths.

Cuget la hotărârile Tale şi dau atenţie căilor Tale.

16 I delight myself in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.

Îmi găsesc plăcerea în orânduirile Tale; nu voi uita Cuvântul Tău!

17 G IMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant I shall live; and I will keep thy word.

Răsplăteşte-i robului Tău cu viaţă şi voi păzi Cuvântul Tău!

18 O pen mine eyes, and I shall behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Deschide-mi ochii, ca să văd minunile din Legea Ta!

19 I am a stranger in the land; hide not thy commandments from me.

Eu sunt doar un străin pe pământ: nu-Ţi ascunde de mine poruncile Tale!

20 M y soul breaketh for longing after thy judgments at all times.

Sufletul mi se topeşte de dor după judecăţile Tale, tot timpul.

21 T hou hast rebuked the proud cursed, who wander from thy commandments.

Tu-i mustri pe cei îngâmfaţi, pe cei blestemaţi, pe cei ce se rătăcesc de la poruncile Tale.

22 R oll off from me reproach and contempt; for I observe thy testimonies.

Îndepărtează de la mine ocara şi dispreţul, căci păzesc mărturiile Tale!

23 P rinces also did sit talk together against me: thy servant doth meditate in thy statutes.

Prinţii stau şi vorbesc împotriva mea, dar robul Tău cugetă la orânduirile Tale.

24 T hy testimonies also are my delight my counsellors.

Mărturiile Tale sunt desfătarea mea, sunt sfetnicii mei.

25 D ALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken me according to thy word.

Sufletul meu este lipit de ţărână: înviorează-mă, după Cuvântul Tău!

26 I have declared my ways, and thou hast answered me: teach me thy statutes.

Mi-am cercetat căile şi Tu mi-ai răspuns: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

27 M ake me to understand the way of thy precepts, and I will meditate upon thy wondrous works.

Deprinde-mă cu hotărârile Tale şi voi cugeta la minunile Tale!

28 M y soul melteth for sadness: strengthen me according to thy word.

Sufletul îmi plânge de întristare: ridică-mă, după Cuvântul Tău!

29 R emove from me the way of falsehood, and graciously grant me thy law.

Ţine-mă departe de calea înşelăciunii; binevoieşte să mă înveţi Legea Ta!

30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness; thy judgments have I set.

Aleg calea credincioşiei; accept judecăţile tale.

31 I cleave unto thy testimonies; Jehovah, let me not be ashamed.

Mă alipesc de mărturiile Tale: Doamne, nu mă lăsa să fiu dat de ruşine!

32 I will run the way of thy commandments when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

Alerg pe calea poruncilor Tale, căci Tu dai alinare inimii mele.

33 H E. Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes, and I will observe it the end.

Învaţă-mă, Doamne, să trăiesc după orânduirile Tale, şi le voi respecta până la sfârşitul vieţii!

34 G ive me understanding, and I will observe thy law; and I will keep it with whole heart.

Dă-mi pricepere şi voi respecta Legea Ta, o voi păzi din toată inima mea!

35 M ake me to walk in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Condu-mă pe cărarea poruncilor Tale, căci în aceasta îmi găsesc plăcerea!

36 I ncline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to gain.

Apleacă-mi inima spre mărturiile Tale şi nu spre câştigul mârşav!

37 T urn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; quicken me in thy way.

Abate-mi privirea de la vederea lucrurilor deşarte; înviorează-mă pe calea Ta!

38 E stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is to thy fear.

Împlineşte-Ţi promisiunea făcută robului Tău şi celor ce se tem de Tine!

39 T urn away my reproach which I fear; for thy judgments are good.

Depărtează de la mine ocara ce mă-nspăimântă, căci judecăţile Tale sunt bune!

40 B ehold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

O, cât de mult tânjesc după hotărârile Tale: înviorează-mă după dreptatea Ta!

41 V AU. And let thy loving-kindness come unto me, O Jehovah,—thy salvation according to thy word.

Să vină, Doamne, peste mine marea Ta îndurare şi mântuirea Ta din pricina promisiunii Tale!

42 S o shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me; for I confide in thy word.

Atunci îi voi putea răspunde celui ce mă ocărăşte, căci mă încred în Cuvântul Tău.

43 A nd take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; because I have hoped in thy judgments.

Nu mă lăsa fără Cuvântul cel adevărat în gura mea, căci nădăjduiesc în judecăţile Tale!

44 T hen will I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever;

Voi păzi Legea Ta întotdeauna şi pentru veci de veci!

45 A nd I will walk at liberty, for I have sought thy precepts;

Voi umbla liber, căci caut hotărârile Tale.

46 A nd I will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed;

Voi vesti mărturiile Tale înaintea regilor şi nu mă voi ruşina.

47 A nd I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved;

Mă voi desfăta cu poruncile Tale, pe care le iubesc.

48 A nd I will lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate in thy statutes.

Îmi ridic mâinile spre poruncile Tale, pe care le iubesc, şi cuget la orânduirile Tale.

49 Z AIN. Remember the word for thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

Aminteşte-Ţi de cuvântul spus robului Tău, în care m-ai făcut să nădăjduiesc!

50 T his is my comfort in mine affliction; for thy word hath quickened me.

Iată ce-mi aduce mângâiere în suferinţă: promisiunea Ta care mă înviorează.

51 T he proud have derided me beyond measure: I have not declined from thy law.

Mult mă mai batjocoresc cei mândri, dar eu nu mă abat de la Legea Ta.

52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.

Îmi amintesc de judecăţile Tale din vechime şi sunt mângâiat.

53 B urning indignation hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake thy law.

Sunt cuprins de furie la vederea celor răi, a celor ce au părăsit Legea Ta.

54 T hy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

În casa pribegiei mele mi-am făcut din orânduirile Tale cântări.

55 I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, and have kept thy law.

Noaptea îmi amintesc Numele Tău, Doamne! Voi păzi Legea Ta!

56 T his I have had, because I have observed thy precepts.

Aşa-mi doresc să fie, căci împlinesc hotărârile Tale.

57 C HETH. My portion, O Jehovah, I have said, is to keep thy words.

Doamne, Tu eşti moştenirea mea: am promis că voi păzi cuvintele Tale!

58 I have sought thy favour with whole heart: be gracious unto me according to thy word.

Te rog din toată inima mea, îndură-te de mine, după promisiunea Ta!

59 I have thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

Cuget la căile mele, îmi îndrept paşii spre mărturiile Tale.

60 I have made haste, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.

Mă grăbesc şi nu întârzii să împlinesc poruncile Tale.

61 T he bands of the wicked have wrapped me round: I have not forgotten thy law.

Funiile celor răi m-au înconjurat, dar eu nu uit Legea Ta.

62 A t midnight I rise up to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous judgments.

La miezul nopţii mă trezesc să-Ţi aduc laude, din pricina judecăţilor Tale cele drepte.

63 I am the companion of all that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Eu sunt prieten cu toţi cei ce se tem de Tine şi păzesc hotărârile Tale.

64 T he earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy loving-kindness: teach me thy statutes.

Doamne, îndurarea Ta umple pământul: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

65 T ETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word.

Tu faci bine robului Tău, Doamne, după Cuvântul Tău.

66 T each me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed in thy commandments.

Învaţă-mă să am cunoaştere şi pricepere, căci mă încred în poruncile Tale!

67 B efore I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep thy word.

Înainte să fiu smerit, eu rătăceam; acum însă păzesc cuvintele Tale.

68 T hou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

Tu eşti bun şi faci bine: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

69 T he proud have forged falsehood against me: I will observe thy precepts with whole heart.

Nişte îngâmfaţi m-au tencuit cu neadevăruri, dar eu împlinesc hotărârile Tale din toată inima.

70 T heir heart is as fat as grease: as for me, I delight in thy law.

Inima lor este nesimţitoare ca grăsimea, dar eu îmi găsesc desfătarea în Legea Ta.

71 I t is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes.

E bine că m-ai smerit, pentru că astfel am putut învăţa orânduirile Tale.

72 T he law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

Mai mult preţuieşte pentru mine Legea gurii Tale, decât mii de şecheli de aur şi de argint.

73 Y OD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.

Mâinile Tale m-au făcut şi m-au întocmit. De aceea, dă-mi pricepere ca să pot învăţa poruncile Tale!

74 T hey that fear thee will see me, and rejoice; because I have hoped in thy word.

Cei ce se tem de Tine mă privesc şi se bucură, căci aştept împlinirea Cuvântului Tău.

75 I know, Jehovah, that thy Judgments are righteousness, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

Doamne, recunosc că judecăţile Tale sunt drepte şi că din credincioşie m-ai smerit.

76 O h let thy loving-kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

Fă-mi parte de îndurarea Ta, pentru a fi mângâiat, după promisiunea pe care ai făcut-o robului Tău.

77 L et thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.

Să vină peste mine îndurările Tale şi voi trăi, căci îmi găsesc desfătarea în Legea Ta!

78 L et the proud be ashamed; for they have acted perversely towards me with falsehood: as for me, I meditate in thy precepts.

Să fie făcuţi de râs cei îngâmfaţi, căci m-au defăimat prin minciuni! Cât despre mine, eu voi cugeta la hotărârile Tale!

79 L et those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that know thy testimonies.

Să se întoarcă spre mine cei ce se tem de Tine şi cei ce cunosc mărturiile Tale!

80 L et my heart be perfect in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.

Fie-mi inima integră în orânduirile Tale, şi atunci nu voi fi dat de ruşine!

81 C APH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation; I hope in thy word.

Sufletul meu tânjeşte după mântuirea Ta, aşteptând împlinirea Cuvântului Tău.

82 M ine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

Ochii îmi tânjesc după Tine, zicând: „Când mă vei mângâia?“

83 F or I am become like a bottle in the smoke; I do not forget thy statutes.

Deşi am ajuns ca un burduf de vin în fum, eu tot nu voi părăsi orânduirile Tale.

84 H ow many shall be the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

Câte zile să mai aştepte robul Tău până îmi vei judeca prigonitorii?

85 T he proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to thy law.

Cei îngâmfaţi mi-au săpat gropi; ei nu lucrează după Legea Ta.

86 A ll thy commandments are faithfulness. They persecute me wrongfully: help thou me.

Toate poruncile Tale sunt demne de încredere! Ei mă prigonesc cu minciuni. Scapă-mă!

87 T hey had almost consumed me upon the earth; but as for me, I forsook not thy precepts.

Aproape că m-au prăpădit de pe pământ, dar eu nu părăsesc hotărârile Tale!

88 Q uicken me according to thy loving-kindness, and I will keep the testimony of thy mouth.

Înviorează-mă după îndurarea Ta, şi voi păzi mărturia gurii Tale!

89 L AMED. For ever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in the heavens.

Cuvântul Tău, Doamne, dăinuie pe vecie în ceruri.

90 T hy faithfulness is from generation to generation: thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

Credincioşia Ta dăinuie de la o generaţie la alta; Tu ai întemeiat pământul şi el aşa rămâne.

91 B y thine ordinances they stand this day; for all things are thy servants.

Astăzi totul dăinuie prin judecăţile Tale, căci fiecare lucru Îţi este supus.

92 U nless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

Dacă Legea Ta nu ar fi desfătarea mea, aş pieri în suferinţa mea.

93 I will never forget thy precepts; for by them thou hast quickened me.

Niciodată nu voi uita hotărârile Tale, căci prin ele mă înviorezi.

94 I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

Sunt al Tău: mântuieşte-mă, căci eu caut să trăiesc după hotărârile Tale!

95 T he wicked have awaited me to destroy me; I attend unto thy testimonies.

Cei răi mă aşteaptă ca să mă nimicească; eu însă iau aminte la mărturiile Tale.

96 I have seen an end of all perfection: thy commandment is exceeding broad.

Văd că tot ce este desăvârşit are un sfârşit; porunca Ta însă este de necuprins.

97 M EM. Oh how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

Ce mult iubesc eu Legea Ta! Toată ziua ea este desfătarea mea!

98 T hy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me.

Porunca Ta mă face mai înţelept decât duşmanii mei, căci întotdeauna aceasta este cu mine.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my meditation.

Sunt mai înţelept decât toţi învăţătorii mei, căci cuget la mărturiile Tale.

100 I understand more than the aged, because I have observed thy precepts.

Sunt mai priceput decât cei cărunţi, căci împlinesc hotărârile Tale.

101 I have refrained my feet from every evil path, that I might keep thy word.

Îmi feresc picioarele de orice cale rea, ca să păzesc Cuvântul Tău.

102 I have not departed from thy judgments; for it is thou that hast taught me.

Nu mă îndepărtez de judecăţile Tale, căci Tu mă îndrumi.

103 H ow sweet are thy words unto my taste! more than honey to my mouth!

Ce dulci sunt cuvintele Tale pentru cerul gurii mele, mai dulci decât mierea pentru gura mea.

104 F rom thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false path.

Sunt priceput din pricina hotărârilor Tale. De aceea urăsc toate cărările înşelătoare.

105 N UN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Cuvântul Tău este o candelă pentru picioarele mele şi o lumină pe cărarea mea.

106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

Am jurat, şi voi împlini întocmai, că voi păzi judecăţile Tale cele drepte.

107 I am afflicted very much; O Jehovah, quicken me according to thy word.

Sunt atât de mâhnit: Doamne, înviorează-mă după Cuvântul Tău!

108 A ccept, I beseech thee, Jehovah, the voluntary-offerings of my mouth, and teach me thy judgments.

Doamne, primeşte ofranda gurii mele şi învaţă-mă judecăţile Tale!

109 M y life is continually in my hand; but I do not forget thy law.

Mi-am pus viaţa în primejdie, dar nu voi părăsi Legea Ta!

110 T he wicked have laid a snare for me; but I have not wandered from thy precepts.

Cei răi mi-au întins curse, dar eu nu mă voi rătăci de la hotărârile Tale.

111 T hy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Am moştenit mărturiile Tale pe vecie, pentru că ele sunt bucuria inimii mele.

112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes for ever, unto the end.

Mi-am dedicat inima ca să înfăptuiesc orânduirile Tale pentru totdeauna, până la sfârşit.

113 S AMECH. The double-minded have I hated; but thy law do I love.

Îi urăsc pe cei nestatornici, dar iubesc Legea Ta.

114 T hou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

Tu eşti adăpostul şi scutul meu şi aştept să se împlinească Cuvântul Tău.

115 D epart from me, ye evil-doers; and I will observe the commandments of my God.

Depărtaţi-vă de mine, răufăcătorilor, ca să pot împlini poruncile Dumnezeului meu!

116 U phold me according to thy word, that I may live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

Sprijină-mă după promisiunea Ta şi voi fi înviorat; nu mă da de ruşine din pricina nădejdii mele!

117 H old thou me up, and I shall be safe; and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

Întăreşte-mă ca să fiu izbăvit, şi să privesc neîncetat la orânduirile Tale!

118 T hou hast set at nought all them that wander from thy statutes; for their deceit is falsehood.

Tu-i îndepărtezi pe cei ce se rătăcesc de la orânduirile Tale, căci înşelătoria lor este zadarnică.

119 T hou puttest away all the wicked of the earth dross; therefore I love thy testimonies.

Tu-i îndepărtezi pe cei răi de pe pământ ca pe zgură. De aceea iubesc eu mărturiile Tale.

120 M y flesh shuddereth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

Mi se înfioară carnea din pricina groazei Tale şi mă tem din pricina judecăţilor Tale.

121 A IN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

Judec cu dreptate: nu mă da pe mâna asupritorilor mei!

122 B e surety for thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.

Ia apărarea robului Tău, ca să nu mă mai asuprească cei îngâmfaţi!

123 M ine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

Mi se topesc ochii după mântuirea Ta şi după promisiunea Ta cea dreaptă.

124 D eal with thy servant according to thy loving-kindness, and teach me thy statutes.

Poartă-te cu robul Tău după îndurarea Ta şi învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

125 I am thy servant; give me understanding that I may know thy testimonies.

Eu sunt robul Tău: învaţă-mă, şi voi cunoaşte mărturiile Tale!

126 I t is time for Jehovah to work: they have made void thy law.

Doamne, este vremea să lucrezi, căci au încălcat Legea Ta.

127 T herefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.

Pentru că iubesc poruncile Tale mai mult decât aurul şi argintul

128 T herefore I regard all precepts concerning all things to be right: I hate every false path.

şi pentru că găsesc pe deplin drepte toate hotărârile Tale, de aceea urăsc toate cărările înşelătoare.

129 P E. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul observe them.

Minunate sunt mărturiile Tale, de aceea sufletul meu le împlineşte.

130 T he entrance of thy words giveth light, giving understanding unto the simple.

Dezvăluirea cuvintelor Tale aduce lumină şi dă pricepere celor neştiutori.

131 I opened my mouth wide and panted; for I longed for thy commandments.

Îmi deschid gura şi oftez, căci tânjesc după poruncile Tale.

132 T urn unto me, and be gracious unto me, as thou art wont to do unto those that love thy name.

Întoarce-Te spre mine şi îndură-te de mine, după obiceiul Tău faţă de cei ce iubesc Numele Tău.

133 E stablish my steps in thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Întăreşte-mi paşii după cuvintele Tale şi nu mă lăsa în stăpânirea vreunui necaz.

134 D eliver me from the oppression of man; and I will keep thy precepts.

Izbăveşte-mă de sub asuprirea omului şi-Ţi voi păzi hotărârile!

135 M ake thy face to shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.

Fă să lumineze faţa Ta peste robul Tău şi învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale.

136 M ine eyes run down with streams of water, because they keep not thy law.

Ochii îmi varsă şiroaie de lacrimi, fiindcă oamenii nu păzesc Legea Ta.

137 T ZADE. Righteous art thou, Jehovah, and upright are thy judgments.

Doamne, Tu eşti drept, iar judecăţile Tale sunt drepte!

138 T hou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.

Tu porunceşti, iar mărturiile Tale sunt drepte şi pline de credincioşie!

139 M y zeal destroyeth me, because mine oppressors have forgotten thy words.

Sunt mistuit de râvnă, pentru că duşmanii mei uită cuvintele Tale.

140 T hy word is exceeding pure, and thy servant loveth it.

Cuvintele Tale sunt bine încercate şi robul Tău le iubeşte.

141 I am little and despised: thy precepts have I not forgotten.

Eu sunt mic şi neînsemnat, dar nu dau uitării hotărârile Tale.

142 T hy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.

Dreptatea Ta rămâne dreptate pe vecie, şi Legea Ta rămâne adevărată.

143 T rouble and anguish have taken hold upon me: thy commandments are my delights.

Eu am parte numai de necaz şi de strâmtorare, însă poruncile Tale rămân desfătarea mea.

144 T he righteousness of thy testimonies is for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live.

Mărturiile Tale rămân drepte pe vecie. Dă-mi pricepere, ca să pot trăi!

145 K OPH. I have called with whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will observe thy statutes.

Strig din toată inima; răspunde-mi, Doamne! Voi împlini orânduirile Tale.

146 I call upon thee; save me, and I will keep thy testimonies.

Te chem; mântuieşte-mă, iar eu voi păzi mărturiile Tale.

147 I anticipate the morning-dawn and I cry: I hope in thy word.

Mă trezesc înaintea zorilor ca să strig la Tine şi aştept să se împlinească cuvintele Tale.

148 M ine eyes anticipate the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy word.

Ochii îmi stau deschişi în timpul străjilor nopţii ca să cuget la cuvintele Tale.

149 H ear my voice according to thy loving-kindness: O Jehovah, quicken me according to thy judgment.

Ascultă-mi glasul, după bunătatea Ta, Doamne, după judecăţile Tale, înviorează-mă!

150 T hey have drawn nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

Se apropie cei ce urmăresc nelegiuirea; ei s-au depărtat de Legea Ta.

151 T hou, Jehovah, art near, and all thy commandments are truth.

Doamne, Tu eşti aproape, iar toate poruncile Tale sunt adevărate.

152 F rom thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

Cu mult timp în urmă am aflat de mărturiile Tale, căci le-ai statornicit pe vecie.

153 R ESH. See mine affliction, and deliver me; for I have not forgotten thy law.

Ia aminte la necazul meu şi salvează-mă, căci nu am dat uitării Legea Ta!

154 P lead my cause, and redeem me: quicken me according to thy word.

Apără-mi pricina şi răscumpără-mă! Îndură-te de mine după promisiunea Ta!

155 S alvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not thy statutes.

Mântuirea este departe de cei răi, deoarece ei nu caută să împlinească orânduirile Tale.

156 M any are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah; quicken me according to thy judgments.

Doamne, multe sunt îndurările Tale! Înviorează-mă după judecăţile Tale!

157 M any are my persecutors and mine oppressors; I have not declined from thy testimonies.

Mulţi sunt şi prigonitorii, şi duşmanii mei, dar de la mărturiile Tale eu tot nu mă abat!

158 I beheld them that deal treacherously, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

Mă uit cu scârbă la cei necredincioşi, la cei ce nu păzesc cuvintele Tale.

159 S ee how I have loved thy precepts: quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thy loving-kindness.

Ia aminte, căci iubesc hotărârile Tale! Doamne, înviorează-mă după îndurarea Ta!

160 T he sum of thy word is truth, and every righteous judgment of thine is for ever.

Natura Cuvântului Tău este adevărul şi fiecare judecată a Ta este dreaptă pe vecie!

161 S HIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

Nişte prinţi mă prigonesc pe nedrept, dar inima mea tremură doar la Cuvântul Tău!

162 I have joy in thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Eu mă bucur de cuvintele Tale ca cel ce a găsit multă pradă.

163 I hate and abhor falsehood; thy law do I love.

Urăsc înşelătoria, n-o pot suferi, dar iubesc Legea Ta!

164 S even times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Te laud de şapte ori pe zi, din pricina judecăţilor Tale celor drepte.

165 G reat peace have they that love thy law, and nothing doth stumble them.

Cei ce iubesc Legea Ta au parte de multă pace şi nimic nu îi poate face să se împiedice.

166 I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and have done thy commandments.

Doamne, nădăjduiesc în mântuirea Ta, împlinind poruncile Tale.

167 M y soul hath kept thy testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.

Sufletul meu păzeşte mărturiile Tale şi le iubeşte mult.

168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies; for all my ways are before thee.

Păzesc hotărârile şi mărturiile Tale, căci toate căile mele sunt înaintea Ta.

169 T AU. Let my cry come near before thee, Jehovah: give me understanding according to thy word.

Doamne, fie ca strigătul meu să ajungă până la Tine: „Dă-mi pricepere după Cuvântul Tău!“

170 L et my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

Fie ca ruga mea să ajungă până la Tine: „Izbăveşte-mă după promisiunea Ta!“

171 M y lips shall pour forth praise when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

Buzele mele Te vor lăuda, căci m-ai învăţat orânduirile Tale!

172 M y tongue shall speak aloud of thy word; for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Limba mea va cânta cuvintele Tale, căci toate poruncile Tale sunt drepte.

173 L et thy hand be for my help; for I have chosen thy precepts.

Mâna Ta să-mi vină în ajutor, căci hotărârile Tale le aleg.

174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and thy law is my delight.

Doamne, tânjesc după mântuirea Ta, iar Legea Ta este desfătarea mea.

175 L et my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

Fie ca sufletul meu să trăiască şi atunci Te va lăuda, iar judecăţile Tale mă vor sprijini la aceasta.

176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.

Rătăcesc ca o oaie pierdută! Caută-l pe robul Tău, căci eu nu am uitat poruncile Tale!
