1 ¶ O LORD my God, in thee I have put my trust: save me from all those that persecute me, and deliver me

Господи, мой Бог, у Тебя я ищу прибежища. Спаси меня и избавь от всех, кто меня преследует,

2 L est they take my soul, as a lion dismembers his prey when there is none to deliver.

иначе, как лев, меня разорвут, растерзают – и не будет спасителя.

3 O LORD my God, if I have done this: if there is iniquity in my hands,

Господи, мой Бог, если я это сделал, если есть несправедливость в моих руках,

4 i f I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me, then let my persecutor escape without retribution.

если я сделал зло тому, кто со мною в мире, или врага без повода обобрал,

5 L et the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; let him tread down my life upon the earth and lay my honour in the dust. Selah.

то пусть враг за мною погонится и настигнет, пусть он жизнь мою втопчет в землю и повергнет славу мою в прах. Пауза

6 A rise, O LORD, in thine anger; lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake the judgment in my favour that thou hast commanded.

Господи, восстань в гневе Своем, ополчись на неистовство моих врагов! Пробудись, заступись за меня на суде, который Ты заповедал!

7 S o shall the congregation of the people compass thee about, for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

Пусть окружат Тебя собравшиеся народы, воссядь над ними на высоте.

8 T he LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.

Судит Господь народы. Оправдай меня, Господи, по праведности моей, по моей непорочности, Всевышний.

9 L et wickedness consume the wicked; but establish the just: for the righteous God is he who tries the hearts and kidneys.

Праведный Бог, судящий помыслы и сердце, положи конец беззаконию нечестивых, но праведного укрепи.

10 ¶ My shield is in God, he who saves the upright in heart.

Щит мой – Бог Высочайший, спасающий правых сердцем.

11 G od is he who judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Бог – судья справедливый, Бог, строго взыскивающий каждый день.

12 I f he does not turn, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow and made it ready.

Если кто не раскается, Он наточит Свой меч, согнет лук и оснастит его тетивой,

13 H e has also prepared for him the weapons of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

приготовит оружие смертоносное и огненными сделает стрелы.

14 B ehold, he travails with iniquity and has conceived of his own work and brought forth falsehood.

Кто неправду зачал и носит под сердцем зло, тот разрешится от бремени ложью.

15 H e made a pit and deepened it and shall fall into the ditch which he made.

Кто рыл и выкопал яму, сам в нее упадет.

16 H is work shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

Зло его к нему же и вернется, на него обратится его жестокость.

17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Восславлю Господа: праведен Он, воспою хвалу Имени Господа, Всевышнего.
