1 ¶ Therefore, it is necessary that we with more diligence keep the things which we have heard, so that we do not fall.

Поэтому мы должны со всем вниманием отнестись к тому, о чем мы услышали, не то нас снесет течением.

2 F or if the word spoken by the ministry of angels was steadfast and every rebellion and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,

Ведь если весть, переданная через ангелов, имела силу, и каждое нарушение и непослушание влекли за собой справедливое наказание,

3 h ow shall we escape, if we belittle such great saving health? Which, having begun to be published by the Lord, has been confirmed unto us by those that heard him,

то как же нам избежать наказания сейчас, если мы пренебрегаем великим спасением, которое было провозглашено Самим Господом? И нам это подтвердили те, кто лично слышал от Него эту весть,

4 G od also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders and with diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, distributing them according to his own will?

которую Сам Бог удостоверил знамениями, чудесами, различными проявлениями Его силы и дарами Святого Духа, распределяемыми по Его усмотрению. Сын Божий стал Человеком, чтобы спасти нас

5 ¶ For unto the angels he has not subjected the world to come, of which we speak.

Будущую вселенную, о которой мы говорим, Он подчинил не ангелам.

6 B ut one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou dost visit him?

Но где-то некто засвидетельствовал: «Кто такой человек, что Ты переживаешь о нем? Кто такой сын человеческий, что Ты заботишься о нем?

7 T hou didst make him a little lower than the angels; thou didst crown him with glory and honour and didst set him over the works of thy hands.

Ты немногим умалил его ниже ангелов; Ты увенчал его славой и честью,

8 T hou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not see yet that all things are put under him.

Ты все подчинил под ноги его». Бог все покорил человеку, не оставив ничего непокоренным ему. Но сейчас мы пока не видим, что человеку подчинено все.

9 B ut we see this same Jesus, crowned with glory and honour, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Однако мы видим, что Иисус, Который действительно был поставлен немного ниже ангелов, сейчас увенчан славой и честью, потому что претерпел смерть; по благодати Божьей к нам Он вкусил смерть за каждого человека.

10 ¶ For it was expedient that he, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, preparing to bring forth many sons in his glory, should perfect the author of their saving health through sufferings.

Надлежало, чтобы Бог, приводящий все множество Своих сынов в славу, для Которого и благодаря Которому все существует, проведя через страдания, сделал зачинателя их спасения совершенным.

11 F or both he that sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Потому что и Тот, Кто освящает, и те, кто освящается Им, – все дети одного Отца, и поэтому Иисус не стыдится называть их братьями.

12 s aying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee.

Он говорит: «Я возвещу Твое Имя братьям Моим и посреди собрания Тебя восхвалю».

13 A nd again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me.

И еще Он говорит: «Я буду полагаться на Него» и еще: «Вот Я и дети, которых дал Мне Бог».

14 ¶ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the empire of death, that is, the devil,

А так как дети имеют плоть и кровь, то и Он Сам получил физическое тело, чтобы Своей смертью лишить силы того, кому принадлежит власть над смертью – то есть дьявола, –

15 a nd deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to slavery.

и освободить тех, кто всю свою жизнь находился в рабстве у страха перед смертью.

16 F or verily he did not take the angels, but he took the seed of Abraham.

Ведь не ангелам Он помогает, а потомкам Авраама!

17 T herefore in all things he should be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

Для этого Христу надо было во всем стать таким, как Его братья, чтобы быть милосердным и верным в служении Богу Первосвященником для умилостивления за грехи народа.

18 F or in that he himself has suffered and was tempted, he is also powerful to help those that are tempted.

Он Сам страдал, перенося искушения, и может теперь помочь тем, кто встречает искушения в жизни.
