1 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do righteousness: for my saving health is near to come, and my righteousness to be manifested.

Так говорит Господь: – Храните правосудие и творите правду, потому что скоро придет спасение Мое, и откроется Моя правда.

2 B lessed is the man that does this, and the son of man that lays hold on it; that keeps from polluting the sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Блажен человек, делающий это, крепко этого держащийся, хранящий субботу, не оскверняя ее, и удерживающий руку, чтобы не делать никакого зла.

3 ¶ Neither let the son of the stranger that has joined himself to the LORD speak, saying, The LORD shall utterly separate me from his people: nor let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

Пусть никто из чужеземцев, присоединившихся к Господу, не говорит: «Господь непременно отделит меня от Своего народа». Пусть ни один евнух не сетует: «Я – только засохшее дерево».

4 F or thus has the LORD said unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

Ведь так говорит Господь: – Евнухам, хранящим Мои субботы, избирающим то, что Мне угодно, и крепко держащимся завета со Мною,

5 e ven unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall never be cut off.

Я дам в Моем храме и его стенах памятный знак и имя, лучшие, чем сыновья и дочери; Я дам им вечное имя, которое не исчезнет.

6 A lso the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and that love the name of the LORD, to be his slaves, every one that keeps from polluting the sabbath, and takes hold of my covenant;

А чужеземцам, присоединившимся к Господу, чтобы служить Ему, любить Имя Господне и поклоняться Ему, – всех, хранящих субботу, не оскверняя ее, и крепко держащихся завета со Мною,

7 e ven them will I bring to the mountain of my holiness, and refresh them in the house of my prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called, House of prayer for all peoples.

Я приведу на Мою святую гору и дарую им радость в Моем доме молитвы. Их всесожжения и жертвы будут приняты на Моем жертвеннике; потому что дом Мой будет назван домом молитвы для всех народов.

8 T he Lord GOD who gathers the outcasts of Israel says, I will still gather upon him his gathered ones.

Так возвещает Владыка Господь, собирающий изгнанников Израиля: – Я соберу к ним еще и других, кроме тех, кто уже собран. Бог обвиняет нечестивых

9 ¶ All ye beasts of the field, all ye beasts of the forest; come to devour.

Идите, все звери полевые, идите и ешьте, все звери лесные!

10 H is watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant; they are all dumb dogs; they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, they love to slumber.

Стражи Израиля слепы, все они невежды; все они – псы немые, лаять не могут; они лежат и дремлют, они любят спать.

11 A nd these anxious dogs are insatiable, and even the shepherds did not know enough to understand: they all look to their own ways, each one for his gain, from his quarter.

Псы они ненасытные, им никогда не наесться вдоволь. Они пастухи безрассудные; каждый глядит в свою сторону, всякий ищет своей наживы.

12 C ome ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, or much more excellent.

«Приходите, – кричат, – я вина достану! Напьемся хмельным питьем! А завтра будет все как сегодня или даже еще лучше».
