1 ¶ O LORD, thou hast searched me and known me.

Господи, Ты испытал меня и знаешь меня.

2 T hou knowest my sitting down and my rising up, thou dost understand my thoughts from afar.

Сажусь ли я, встаю ли – Ты знаешь; мои мысли понимаешь издалека.

3 T hou hast girded my walk and my rest, and hast prepared all my ways.

Иду ли я, отдыхаю ли – Ты видишь, и все пути мои знаешь.

4 F or the word is not even upon my tongue, and, behold, O LORD, thou dost know it altogether.

Нет еще слова на моих устах, но Ты, Господи, его уже знаешь.

5 T hou hast formed my face and my insides and laid thine hand upon me.

Ты вокруг меня, и впереди, и позади, и кладешь на меня Свою руку.

6 T hy knowledge is wonderful beyond my ability to comprehend; it is high, I cannot understand it.

Ведение Твое удивительно для меня, слишком велико для моего понимания.

7 ¶ Where shall I go from thy spirit? or where shall I flee from thy presence?

Куда могу уйти от Твоего Духа? Куда могу убежать от Твоего присутствия?

8 I f I ascend to the heavens, thou art there: if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.

Поднимусь ли на небеса – Ты там, сойду ли в мир мертвых – и там Ты.

9 I f I take the wings of the dawn and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Взлечу ли на крыльях зари на востоке, поселюсь ли за дальними морями на западе,

10 e ven there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

даже там Твоя рука поведет меня, Твоя правая рука удержит меня.

11 I f I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall shine because of me.

Если скажу: «Тьма сокроет меня, и свет превратится в ночь»,

12 E ven the darkness does not hide from thee; but the night shines as the day; the darkness is as the light.

даже тогда тьма не темна для Тебя, и ночь светла, как день: как тьма, так и свет.

13 F or thou hast possessed my kidneys: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

Ты создал все внутренности мои, в материнской утробе соткал меня.

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works, and that, my soul knows right well.

Буду славить Тебя за то, что я так удивительно сотворен. Чудесны Твои дела, душа моя сознает это вполне.

15 M y body was not hid from thee, even though I was made in secret and brought together in the lowest parts of the earth.

Мои кости не были сокрыты от Тебя, когда я был в тайне сотворен, образован в глубине материнской утробы.

16 T hine eyes did see my substance yet being imperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which were then formed, without lacking one of them.

Твои глаза видели мой зародыш, и в Твоей книге все мои дни были записаны, когда ни одного из них еще и не было.

17 ¶ Therefore, how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

Как дороги для меня Твои мысли, Боже! Как велико их число!

18 I f I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with thee.

Стану исчислять их – они многочисленнее песка. Когда пробуждаюсь, я все еще с Тобой.

19 S urely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God; depart from me therefore, ye bloodthirsty men.

О Боже, если бы Ты истребил нечестивых! Отойдите от меня, кровожадные!

20 F or they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Нечестиво они говорят против Тебя; Твои враги произносят Твое Имя напрасно

21 D o I not hate all those, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

Как не возненавидеть мне ненавидящих Тебя, Господи? Как не питать отвращение к тем, кто восстает против Тебя?

22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them mine enemies.

Полной ненавистью ненавижу их; Твои враги и для меня враги.

23 S earch me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my thoughts

Испытай меня, Боже, и узнай мое сердце; испытай меня и узнай мои помышления.

24 a nd see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way eternal.

Посмотри, не на опасном ли я пути и веди меня по пути вечному.
