1 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

Таково было явление подобия Господней славы. Увидев это, я пал ниц, и услышал прозвучавший голос. Он сказал мне: – Сын человеческий, поднимись на ноги, и Я буду говорить с тобой.

2 A nd spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me and set me upon my feet, and I heard him that spoke unto me.

Когда Он говорил, Дух вошел в меня, поднял меня на ноги, и я услышал Говорившего со мной.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the sons of Israel, to rebellious Gentiles that have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have rebelled against me, even unto this very day.

Он сказал: – Сын человеческий, Я посылаю тебя к израильтянам, мятежному народу, который восстал против Меня; они сами и их предки были мятежниками против Меня до этого самого дня.

4 A nd to sons that have hard faces and strong hearts do I send thee; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said.

Народ, к которому Я посылаю тебя, непокорен и упрям. Скажи им: «Так говорит Владыка Господь ».

5 A nd they will not hear nor forbear (for they are a rebellious house), but they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

Станут ли они слушать, откажутся ли – ведь они мятежный дом, – но они будут знать, что среди них был пророк.

6 ¶ And thou, son of man, do not be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, for they are rebels; though thou find thyself among thorns and thy dwelling be with briers, do not be afraid of their words, nor fear before them, for they are a rebellious house.

А ты, сын человеческий, не бойся ни их самих, ни их слов. Не бойся, пусть они как терновник и колючки повсюду вокруг тебя, и живешь ты среди скорпионов. Хотя они и мятежный дом не бойся того, что они говорят и не страшись их самих.

7 A nd thou shalt speak my words unto them, but they will not hear nor forbear, for they are rebels.

Говори им Мои слова, независимо от того, станут они слушать или откажутся: ведь они мятежники.

8 B ut thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Do not be rebellious like the rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat what I give thee.

Но ты, сын человеческий, выслушай то, что Я тебе скажу. Не восставай, как этот мятежный дом; открой рот и съешь то, что Я тебе даю.

9 A nd I looked, and behold, a hand was sent unto me; and in it was the roll of a book,

Я взглянул и увидел простертую ко мне руку. В ней был свиток,

10 a nd he spread it before me; and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations and mourning and woes.

который Он развернул передо мной. На обеих его сторонах были начертаны слова причитаний, скорби и горя.
