1 ¶ My heart is overflowing with a good word; I speak of the things which I have done concerning the king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Сердце мое прекрасной речью полнится. Для Царя исполняю я эту песнь; мой язык – перо искусного писаря.

2 T hou art fairer than the sons of men, grace is poured into thy lips; therefore God has blessed thee for ever.

Ты прекраснее всех людей; благодатная речь сходит с Твоих уст, ведь Бог навеки благословил Тебя.

3 G ird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most valiant, with thy glory and thy majesty.

Могучий, препояшься мечом, облекись в славу и величие.

4 A nd in thy majesty be prospered; ride upon the word of truth and of humility and of righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

И величия полон, победоносно поезжай верхом ради истины, смирения и праведности. Пусть рука Твоя вершит грозные подвиги.

5 T hine arrows, by which the peoples fall under thee, penetrate the heart of the enemies of the king.

Пусть острые стрелы Твои пронзают сердца врагов царя; пусть народы падут под ноги Твои.

6 ¶ Thy throne, O God, is eternal and for ever, the rod of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Вечен престол Твой, Боже, Твой царский скипетр – скипетр правосудия.

7 T hou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Ты возлюбил праведность, а беззаконие возненавидел; поэтому, о Боже, Твой Бог помазал Тебя маслом радости больше, чем Твоих сотоварищей.

8 A ll thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made thee glad.

Благоухают Твои одежды миррой, алоэ и кассией. Из дворцов, украшенных костью слоновой, музыка струн Тебя веселит.

9 K ings’ daughters were among thy honourable women; the queen stands at thy right hand with a crown of gold from Ophir.

Среди Твоих придворных женщин – царские дочери. По правую руку от Тебя – царица в золоте из Офира.

10 ¶ Hearken, O daughter, and consider and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;

Выслушай, дочь, обдумай и прислушайся: забудь свой народ и дом отца твоего.

11 s o shall the king greatly desire thy beauty; and bow before him, for he is thy Lord.

Царь возжелает твоей красоты, покорись Ему – Он твой Господь.

12 A nd the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

Жители Тира придут с дарами, богатейшие из народа будут искать Твоей милости.

13 T he king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

Внутри этих покоев – дочь царя, невеста, ее одежда золотом расшита.

14 S he shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework; the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

В многоцветных одеждах выводят ее к Царю; девушек, ее подруг, ведут к Царю вслед за ней.

15 W ith gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king’s palace.

Их ведут с весельем и радостью; они вступают в Царский дворец.

16 I nstead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.

Место предков Твоих, о Царь, займут Твои сыновья; по всей земле вождями Ты их поставишь.

17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise thee eternally and for ever.

Я сделаю памятным Имя Твое в поколениях, и народы будут славить Тебя вовек.
