1 ¶ Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness; thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Ответь мне, когда я взываю к Тебе, Бог мой, оправдывающий меня. Когда мне было тесно, Ты вывел меня на простор. Помилуй меня и молитву мою услышь.

2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after the lie? Selah.

Люди, как долго вы будете меня чернить? Как долго будете любить пустое, искать ложь? Пауза

3 B ut know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Знайте, верного Господь Себе отделил. Господь услышит, когда я к Нему воззову.

4 S tand in awe, and sin not; meditate in your heart upon your bed, and desist. Selah.

Гневаясь, не грешите; задумайтесь об этом на ложах ваших и успокойтесь! Пауза

5 O ffer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

Приносите жертвы правды и уповайте на Господа.

6 ¶ There are many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

Многие спрашивают: «Кто покажет нам благо?» Да озарит нас свет лица Твоего, о Господь!

7 T hou hast put gladness in my heart in the time that their grain and their wine multiplied.

Ты наполнил мое сердце радостью большей, чем у тех, у кого зерно и вино в изобилии.

8 I will both lay me down in peace and sleep: for thou only, O LORD, dost make me to be confident.

Я лягу и с миром засну, потому что, Господи, только Ты даешь мне жить в безопасности.
