1 ¶ Hear righteousness, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that does not go out of feigned lips.

Услышь, Господи, мольбу мою о справедливости; прислушайся к крику моему! Внемли молитве из нелживых уст!

2 L et my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold uprightness.

Да придет от Тебя оправдание мне. Пусть увидят правду глаза Твои.

3 T hou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast refined me and hast found no iniquity; that which I thought did not pass through my mouth.

Ты изучил мое сердце, испытал меня ночью; Ты испытал меня, но не нашел вины; уста мои не грешат.

4 C oncerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have observed the ways of the violent.

Что же до дел других, то по слову из Твоих уст я себя сохранил от путей притеснителя.

5 S ustain my steps in thy ways that my footsteps not slip.

Стопы мои шли по Твоим путям, мои ноги не оступались.

6 I have called upon thee, because thou dost hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me and hear my speech.

Я взываю к Тебе, Боже, ведь Ты мне ответишь, прислушайся ко мне, молитву мою услышь.

7 S how thy mercy to be marvellous, O Saviour of those who put their trust in thee, from those that rise up against thy right hand.

Яви мне чудо милости Твоей, Ты, правой рукой Своей спасающий тех, кто ищет у Тебя прибежища от врага.

8 ¶ Keep me as the apple of the eye; hide me with the shadow of thy wings,

Береги меня как зеницу ока, в тени Своих крыльев сохрани меня

9 f rom the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

от нечестивых, ополчившихся на меня, от смертельных врагов, обступивших меня.

10 T hey are closed in with their own fat; with their mouth they speak proudly.

Закрыты для жалости их сердца, и уста их надменное говорят.

11 T hey have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes upon throwing us down to the earth

Они выслеживали меня, а теперь меня окружают; сторожат глаза их удобный миг, чтобы на землю меня повергнуть.

12 l ike as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

Они словно голодный лев, словно лев, что в засаде ждет.

13 A rise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, with thy sword;

Господи, восстань, предстань пред ними! повергни их Своим мечом, избавь меня от нечестивых;

14 f rom men, with thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life and whose belly thou dost fill with thy provision: they satisfy their sons and leave the rest to their family.

Своей рукою, о Господь, спаси от людей – людей этого мира, чья доля лишь в этой жизни. Пусть наполнится чрево их тем, что Ты для них припас, пусть у детей их излишек останется, пусть внукам своим отдадут оставшееся.

15 A s for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake with thy likeness.

А я в праведности увижу Твое лицо; пробудившись, буду насыщаться образом Твоим.
