1 ¶ And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

И выйдет от корня Иессея Побег; вырастет из его корней Отрасль.

2 A nd the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD,

На Нем будет покоиться Дух Господа – Дух мудрости и разума, Дух совета и силы, Дух знания и страха Господня,

3 a nd shall make him of quick olfaction in the fear of the LORD; and he shall not judge according to the sight of his eyes, neither reprove according to the hearing of his ears:

и будет страх Господень Ему в радость. Он не будет судить по тому, что увидят Его глаза, и решать по тому, что услышат Его уши,

4 B ut with righteousness shall he judge the poor and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

но по правде Он будет судить бедных, справедливо решать дела бедняков земли. Он поразит землю жезлом Своих уст; духом уст Своих убьет нечестивого.

5 A nd righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faith the girdle of his kidneys.

Праведность будет Его поясом, верность – опоясанием на Его бедрах.

6 T he wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a child shall shepherd them.

Волк будет жить вместе с ягненком, леопард ляжет рядом с козленком, теленок и лев будут вместе пастись, и дитя поведет их.

7 T he cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Корова будет пастись с медведицей, их детеныши будут вместе лежать, и лев, как вол, будет есть сено.

8 A nd the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

Младенец будет играть над норой змеи, малое дитя положит руку на гнездо гадюки.

9 T hey shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

И не будут ни вредить, ни губить на всей святой Моей горе, ведь земля будет наполнена познанием Господа, как воды наполняют море.

10 ¶ And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse, who shall be lifted up as a banner, as an example to the Gentiles shall be sought by the Gentiles; and his Kingdom of peace shall be glorious.

В тот день Корень Иессея станет знаменем для народов; к Нему соберутся народы, и прославится место Его покоя.

11 A nd it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall return to set his hand again to possess the remnant of his people which were left from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Cush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.

В тот день Владыка во второй раз протянет руку, чтобы вернуть уцелевших, которые останутся из Его народа, вернуть их из Ассирии, из Египта, из Патроса, из Куша, из Елама, из Шинара, из Хамата и с морских островов.

12 A nd he shall raise up a banner, as an example for the Gentiles and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Он поднимет знамя народам и соберет изгнанников Израиля; Он соберет рассеянный народ Иудеи с четырех концов земли.

13 T he envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

Прекратится зависть Ефрема, и враждебность Иудеи будет истреблена; Ефрем не станет завидовать Иуде, а Иуда не будет враждовать с Ефремом.

14 B ut they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil those of the east together; they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the sons of Ammon shall obey them.

Они налетят на холмы филистимлян на западе, вместе ограбят народ на востоке. На Эдом и Моав протянут руки, и покорятся им аммонитяне.

15 A nd the LORD shall utterly dry up the tongue of the Egyptian sea and shall raise his hand in the strength of his spirit upon the river and shall smite it into seven streams and make men go over dryshod.

Господь иссушит залив Египетского моря; в опаляющем ветре взмахнет рукой над рекой Евфратом. Она разобьется на семь ручьев, так что ее будут переходить в сандалиях.

16 A nd there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria like as it was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Для уцелевших из Его народа, что останется в Ассирии, будет широкий путь, как было для Израиля, когда он вышел из Египта.
