1 ¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise, O ye slaves of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

2 B lessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

Да будет прославлено Имя Господне отныне и вовеки!

3 F rom the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the LORD’s name is to be praised.

От востока и до запада да будет прославлено Имя Господне!

4 T he LORD is high above all Gentiles and his glory above the heavens.

Господь превознесен над всеми народами, и слава Его выше небес.

5 W ho is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high,

Кто подобен Господу, нашему Богу, восседающему на троне в вышине?

6 w ho humbles himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth!

Он склоняется, чтобы видеть на происходящее на небе и на земле.

7 H e raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts the destitute out of the dunghill;

Он поднимает бедного из праха и возвышает нищего из грязи,

8 t hat he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

чтобы посадить их с вождями, с вождями их народа.

9 H e makes the barren woman to keep house and to be a joyful mother of sons. Halelu-JAH.
