1 ¶ Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;

Восклицай от радости Богу, вся земля!

2 s ing forth the glory of his name; put glory into thy praise.

Пойте славу Его Имени, воздайте Ему хвалу.

3 S ay unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

Скажите Богу: «Как устрашающи Твои дела! Столь велика сила Твоя, что враги Твои раболепствуют пред Тобою.

4 A ll the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

Тебе поклоняется вся земля, Тебе воспевает славу, воспевает славу Имени Твоему». Пауза

5 C ome and see the works of God; he is terrible in his doing toward the sons of men.

Придите, смотрите на Божьи дела, как устрашающи Его дела для сынов человеческих!

6 H e turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there did we rejoice in him.

Сушей Он сделал море, реку они перешли по суше, и там мы возрадовались о Нем.

7 H e rules by his power for ever; his eyes watch the Gentiles; the rebellious shall not exalt themselves. Selah.

Силой Своей Он властвует вовек, не спускает с народов глаз, чтобы мятежники против Него не восстали. Пауза

8 ¶ O bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.

Славьте нашего Бога, народы, громко воздайте хвалу Ему.

9 I t is he who placed our soul into life and did not suffer our feet to slip.

Он сохранил нам жизнь, и не дал нашим ногам споткнуться.

10 F or thou, O God, hast proved us; thou hast refined us as silver is refined.

Боже, Ты испытал нас, очистил, как серебро.

11 T hou didst bring us into the net; thou didst lay affliction upon our loins.

Ты заключил нас в неволю, возложил нам на спину бремя

12 T hou hast placed a man over our head; we went through fire and through water, but thou didst bring us out into abundance.

и позволил конникам попирать нас. Мы прошли сквозь огонь и воду, но Ты нас вывел к месту изобилия.

13 ¶ I will go into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

Я приду в Твой храм со всесожжениями и исполню свои обеты Тебе –

14 w hich my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.

обеты, что дали мои уста, и язык мой произнес, когда я был в беде.

15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

Я вознесу Тебе всесожжения – дым от лучших баранов; я принесу Тебе в жертву быков и козлов. Пауза

16 C ome and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he has done unto my soul.

Придите и слушайте, все боящиеся Бога; я расскажу о том, что Он для меня совершил.

17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

Я взывал к Нему устами своими, превозносил его языком моим.

18 I f I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Если бы в сердце видел я грех, то Владыка меня бы не слушал.

19 B ut verily God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Но Бог поистине услышал меня и внял мольбе моей.

20 B lessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me.

Благословен будь, Бог, не отвергший мою молитву и милости меня не лишивший!
