1 ¶ It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Хорошо славить Господа и воспевать Имя Твое, Всевышний,

2 T o show forth thy mercy in the morning and thy faithfulness every night

возглашать милость Твою утром и верность Твою вечером,

3 u pon an instrument of ten strings and upon the psaltery, upon the harp with a pleasant sound.

играть на десятиструнной лире и на мелодичной арфе.

4 F or thou, O LORD, hast made me glad with thy work; I will delight in the works of thy hands.

Ведь Ты, Господи, обрадовал меня Своими деяниями; я ликую о делах Твоих рук.

5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Господи, как велики Твои дела, и как глубоки Твои помышления!

6 A carnal man does not know, neither does a fool understand this:

Глупый человек не знает и невежда не понимает их.

7 ¶ The wicked spring forth as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity blossom, so that they shall be destroyed for ever:

Хотя нечестивые возникают, как трава, и злодеи процветают, они исчезнут навеки.

8 B ut thou, O LORD, art most high for evermore.

Ты же, Господи, навеки превознесен!

9 F or, behold, thine enemies, O LORD, for behold, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Подлинно враги Твои, Господи, подлинно враги Твои погибнут; все злодеи будут рассеяны.

10 B ut my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn; I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

А мой рог Ты вознесешь, подобно быку, и умастишь меня свежим маслом.

11 A nd my eye saw my desire on my enemies, and my ears heard my desire of those that rose up against me, of the wicked.

Глаза мои видели поражение врагов моих, и уши мои слышали падение злодеев, восстающих на меня.

12 T he righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

А праведник цветет, словно пальма, возвышается, как кедр на Ливане.

13 T hose that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Посаженные в доме Господнем, они зацветут во дворах храма нашего Бога.

14 T hey shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be vigorous and flourishing

Они и в старости будут плодовиты, сочны и свежи,

15 t o show that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

чтобы возвещать, что праведен Господь, скала моя, и нет в Нем неправды.
