1 ¶ And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

И ще израсне стъбло от Есеевия пън и израстък от корените му ще носи плод;

2 A nd the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD,

и Духът Господен ще почива върху него, Дух на мъдрост и разум, Дух на съвет и сила, Дух на знание и страх от Господа;

3 a nd shall make him of quick olfaction in the fear of the LORD; and he shall not judge according to the sight of his eyes, neither reprove according to the hearing of his ears:

и той ще се наслаждава в страха от Господа, така че няма да съди, според каквото гледа с очите си, нито ще решава, според каквото чува с ушите си;

4 B ut with righteousness shall he judge the poor and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

а с правда ще съди сиромасите и с правота ще решава в полза за смирените на страната; ще порази страната с жезъла на устата си и с диханието на устните си ще умъртви нечестивия.

5 A nd righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faith the girdle of his kidneys.

Правдата ще бъде пояс на кръста му и верността - пояс на хълбоците му.

6 T he wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a child shall shepherd them.

Вълкът ще живее с агнето, рисът ще си почива с ярето, телето, лъвчето и угоените ще бъдат заедно; и малко дете ще ги води.

7 T he cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Кравата и мечката ще пасат заедно; малките им ще си почиват задружно; и лъвът ще яде слама, както волът.

8 A nd the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

Кърмачето ще играе над дупката на аспида; и отбито дете ще слага ръката си в гнездото на ехидна.

9 T hey shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Те няма да навреждат, нито погубват в цялата Ми свята планина; защото земята ще се изпълни със знание за Господа, както водите покриват дъното на морето.

10 ¶ And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse, who shall be lifted up as a banner, as an example to the Gentiles shall be sought by the Gentiles; and his Kingdom of peace shall be glorious.

И в онзи ден към Есеевия корен - който ще стои като знаме на племената, - към него ще прибягват племената; и неговото място на покой ще бъде славно.

11 A nd it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall return to set his hand again to possess the remnant of his people which were left from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Cush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.

В онзи ден Господ пак втори път ще възвърне с ръката Си останалите от народа Си, които ще останат от Асирия, от Египет, от Патрос, от Хуш, от Елам, от Сенаар, от Емат и от морските острови.

12 A nd he shall raise up a banner, as an example for the Gentiles and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

И ще издигне знаме за народите и ще събере изгонените на Израел, и ще събере в едно разпръснатите на Юдея от четирите краища на земята.

13 T he envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

А Ефремовата завист ще се махне и нападателите от Юдея ще бъдат унищожени! Ефрем няма да завижда на Юда и Юда няма да притеснява Ефрем;

14 B ut they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil those of the east together; they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the sons of Ammon shall obey them.

а ще налетят на рамената на филистимците на запад; заедно ще оберат и жителите на изток; ще прострат ръката си върху Едом и Моав; и амонците ще им се покорят

15 A nd the LORD shall utterly dry up the tongue of the Egyptian sea and shall raise his hand in the strength of his spirit upon the river and shall smite it into seven streams and make men go over dryshod.

и Господ ще наложи забраната Си върху залива на Египетското море; чрез изсушителния Си вятър ще помаха с ръката Си върху Ефрат; ще го раздели на седем потока и ще направи да го минават с обувки.

16 A nd there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria like as it was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

И ще има път от Асирия за останалите от народа Му, които ще оцелеят, както имаше за Израел в деня, когато излезе от Египетската земя.
