1 ¶ In that time there shall be an open fountain for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem against sin and against uncleanness.

В онзи ден ще се отвори извор за Давидовия дом и за йерусалимските жители - за грях и нечистота.

2 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of the hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no longer be remembered; and I will also cause the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness to be cut off out of the land.

И в онзи ден, казва Господ на Силите, ще изтребя имената на идолите от земята и няма да се помнят вече; също ще направя лъжливите пророци и нечистият дух да се махнат от земята.

3 A nd it shall come to pass, that when anyone else shall prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD; and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesies.

И ако някой още пророкува, тогава баща му и майка му, които са го родили, ще му кажат: Няма да живееш, защото говориш лъжи в името Господне, и баща му и майка му, които са го родили, ще го прободат, когато пророкува.

4 A nd it shall come to pass in that time, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision when he has prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:

В онзи ден пророците ще се посрамят - всеки от видението си, когато е пророкувал, и няма да обличат кожена дреха за преструвка.

5 b ut he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a husbandman of the land; for I learned this from man from my youth.

Но такъв ще каже: Не съм пророк; аз съм земеделец; защото човек ме е хванал за роб от младостта ми.

6 A nd they shall ask him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

И ако го попита някой: Какви са тези рани между мишците ти?, ще отговори: Това са раните, които ми нанесоха в дома на приятелите ми. Новият народ в царството на Месия. Смъртта на великия Пастир и очистване на остатъка от избрания народ

7 ¶ Awake, O sword, upon the pastor and upon the man that is my fellow, said the LORD of the hosts; smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

Събуди се, меч, против пастира Ми, против мъжа, който Ми е съдружник, казва Господ на Силите; порази пастира и овците ще се разпръснат; и Аз ще обърна ръката Си върху малките.

8 A nd it shall come to pass that in all the land, said the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off in her and shall be lost; but the third shall be left therein.

И в цялата земя, казва Господ, две части от жителите ѝ ще бъдат изтребени и ще изчезнат, а третата ще бъде оставена в нея.

9 A nd I will put the third part into the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried; He shall call on my name, and I will hear him; I will say, My people, and he shall say, The LORD is my God.

Тази трета част Аз ще прекарам през огън, пречиствайки ги, както се чисти среброто, и изпитвайки ги, както се изпитва златото. Те ще призоват Моето име и Аз ще ги послушам; ще кажа: Те са Мой народ; а те ще кажат, всичките: Господ е мой Бог.
