1 ¶ Rejoice, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud with joy, thou that didst not travail with child: for more shall be the sons of the desolate than the sons of the married wife, said the LORD.

Весели се, неплодна, която не раждаш; запей с радост и възкликни, ти, която не си била в болките на раждане; защото повече са синовете на самотната, отколкото синовете на омъжената, казва Господ.

2 E nlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

Уголеми мястото на шатъра си и нека разширят завесите на жилищата си; не се скъпи; продължи въжетата си и закрепи колчетата си.

3 f or thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

Защото ще се разпространиш надясно и наляво; потомството ти ще завладее народите и ще населят запустелите градове.

4 F ear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

Не бой се, защото няма да бъдеш поругана; и не се смущавай, защото няма да бъдеш посрамена; защото ще забравиш срама, който си изпитвала в младостта си, и няма вече да помниш укора, който си носила като вдовица.

5 F or thy Maker shall be thine husband; the LORD of the hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Защото твоят съпруг е Творецът ти, Чието име е Господ на Силите; и изкупителят ти е Святият Израелев, Който ще се нарече Бог на цялата земя.

6 ¶ For as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit has the LORD called thee, and as a young woman who is put away, said thy God.

Защото Господ те повика като жена, изоставена и наскърбена духом. Да! Жена, взета в младост, а после отхвърлена, казва твоят Бог.

7 F or a small moment I have forsaken thee; but with great mercies I will gather thee.

Оставих те за малко време, но с голяма милост ще те прибера.

8 I n a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with eternal mercy I will have compassion on thee, said the LORD thy Redeemer.

В изобилието на гнева Си скрих лицето Си от тебе за един миг, но с вечна благост ще се смиля над тебе, казва Господ, Изкупителят ти.

9 F or this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so I have sworn that I would not be wroth again with thee, nor reprehend thee.

Защото за Мене това е като Ноевите води; понеже, както се заклех, че Ноевите води няма да наводнят вече земята, така се заклех, че вече няма да се разгневя на тебе, нито да те смъмря.

10 F or the mountains shall be removed, and the hills shall tremble; but my mercy shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be changed, said the LORD that has mercy on thee.

Защото, дори и да изчезнат планините и да се поместят хълмовете, пак Моята благост няма да се оттегли от теб и заветът Ми на мир няма да се промени, казва Господ, Който ти показва милост.

11 ¶ O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will cement thy stones upon carbuncle and lay thy foundations upon sapphires.

От наскърбена, смутена, безутешна, ето, Аз ще постеля камъните ти в красиви цветове и ще положа основите ти от сапфир;

12 A nd I will make thy windows of precious stones, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of stones of great price.

ще направя кулите ти от рубини, портите ти - от антракс, и цялата ти ограда - от отбрани камъни.

13 A nd all thy sons shall be taught of the LORD; and the peace of thy sons shall be multiplied.

Всичките ти синове ще бъдат научени от Господа; и голям ще бъде мирът на синовете ти.

14 W ith righteousness shalt thou be adorned: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear it; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

С правда ще се утвърдиш; далеч ще бъдеш от угнетението, защото няма да се боиш - далеч от ужасяването, защото няма да се приближи до теб.

15 I f anyone should conspire against thee, it shall be without me, whosoever would conspire against thee shall fall before thee.

Ето, всички може да се съберат против теб, обаче не чрез Мене; всички онези, които се събират против тебе, ще паднат пред теб.

16 B ehold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth the instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

Ето, Аз създадох ковача, който раздухва въглищата в огъня и изковава инструмент за работата си; Аз създадох и разорителя, за да съсипва.

17 N o weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the slaves of the LORD, and their justice from me, said the LORD.

Нито едно оръжие, скроено против тебе, няма да успее; и ще победиш всеки език, който би се повдигнал против тебе в съд. Това е наследството на слугите Господни и правдата им е от Мене, казва Господ.
