1 ¶ So they brought the ark of God and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

Така внесоха Божия ковчег и го положиха сред шатъра, който Давид беше поставил за него; и принесоха всеизгаряния и мирни жертви пред Бога.

2 A nd when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

Когато Давид свърши принасянето на всеизгарянията и мирните жертви, благослови народа в Господнето име.

3 A nd he dealt to all Israel, both men and women, to each one a loaf of bread and a good piece of flesh and a flagon of wine.

И даде на всеки човек, мъж и жена, от Израел, на всеки по един хляб, по една мръвка месо и по един наниз сухо грозде.

4 A nd he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD and to record and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

И определи някои от левитите да служат пред Господния ковчег, да възпоменават, да благодарят и да хвалят Господа, Израелевия Бог:

5 A saph, the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps, but Asaph resounded with cymbals;

първия, Асаф; втория, Захария; после Еиил, Семирамот, Ехиил, Мататия, Елиав, Ванайя, Овид-едом и Еиил с псалтири и арфи; Асаф с дрънкане на кимвали;

6 a nd Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

а свещениците Ванайя и Яазиил - с тръби, винаги пред ковчега на Божия завет. Благодарствена песен на Давид

7 ¶ Then, on that day, David began to thank the LORD by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Тогава, в онзи ден, Давид за пръв път нареди славословенето на Господа чрез Асаф и братята му с тези думи:

8 G ive thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

Славословете Господа; призовавайте името Му; възвестявайте между народите делата Му.

9 S ing unto him, sing psalms unto him, speak of all his wondrous works.

Пейте Му и Го възпявайте с псалми; говорете за всичките Му чудни дела.

10 G lory in his holy name; let the heart of those that seek the LORD rejoice.

Хвалете се с Неговото свято име; нека се весели сърцето на онези, които търсят Господа.

11 S eek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

Търсете Господа и Неговата сила. Търсете лицето Му винаги.

12 R emember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth;

Помнете пречудните дела, които е извършил, знаменията Му и постановленията, излезли из устата Му.

13 O , ye seed of Israel, his slave, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.

Вие, потомство на Неговия слуга Израел, синове Яковови, избрани Негови.

14 H e is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

Той е Господ, Бог наш; съдът Му е по целия свят.

15 B e mindful always of his covenant, the word which he commanded in a thousand generations,

Помнете винаги завета Му, словото, което заповяда на хиляда поколения,

16 t he covenant which he cut with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

завета, който сключи с Авраам, и клетвата Му към Исаак,

17 w hich he confirmed unto Jacob by statute, and to Israel in everlasting covenant,

която и утвърди на Яков за наредба, на Израел за вечен завет,

18 s aying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the cord of your inheritance,

като каза: На тебе ще дам Ханаанската земя за дял на наследството ви,

19 w hen ye were but few in number, and strangers in it.

когато бяхте малцина на брой, малцина и пришълци в нея,

20 A nd they went from nation to nation and from one kingdom to another people.

и когато прехождаха от народ в народ и от едно царство в други народи.

21 H e would allow no one to oppress them; he reproved kings for their sakes,

Не остави никого да им навреди; ей, заради тях царе изобличи,

22 s aying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

като каза: Да не се допирате до помазаните Ми и да не сторите зло на пророците Ми.

23 S ing unto the LORD, all the earth; show forth from day to day his saving health.

Пейте на Господа, жители на целия свят; благовествайте от ден на ден спасението Му.

24 D eclare his glory among the Gentiles; his marvellous works among all peoples.

Възвестете между народите славата Му, между всички племена - чудните Му дела.

25 F or great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he also is to be feared above all gods.

Защото Господ е велик и твърде достоен за хвала и за страхопочитание повече от всички богове.

26 F or all the gods of the people are worthless, but the LORD made the heavens.

Защото всички богове на племената са суетни, а Господ създаде небесата.

27 G lory and beauty are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Слава и великолепие са пред Него, сила и радост на мястото Му.

28 G ive unto the LORD, ye families of the peoples, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Отдайте на Господа вие, семейства на племената, отдайте на Господа слава и сила.

29 G ive unto the LORD the glory of his name; bring a present and come before him; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Отдайте на Господа славата, дължима на името Му; донесете принос и влезте пред Него; поклонете се на Господа с великолепие свято.

30 F ear before him, all the earth; the world also is being made stable, that it be not moved.

Треперете пред Него, жители на целия свят; защото вселената е утвърдена и не може да се поклати.

31 L et the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let men say among the Gentiles, The LORD reigns.

Да се веселят небесата и да се радва светът; и да казват между народите: Господ царува.

32 L et the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

Да бучи морето и всичко, което е в него; нека се радват полетата и всичко, което е в тях.

33 T hen shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he comes to judge the earth.

Тогава ще се радват пред Господа дърветата на дъбравата; защото иде да съди света.

34 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good; for his mercy is eternal.

Славословете Господа, защото е благ, защото милостта Му е до века;

35 A nd say, Save us, O God our saving health, and gather us together and deliver us from the Gentiles, that we may give thanks to thy holy name and glory in thy praise.

и кажете: Спаси ни, Боже на спасението ни, събери ни и ни избави от народите, за да славословим святото Ти име и да тържествуваме в Твоята хвала.

36 B lessed be the LORD God of Israel from eternity unto eternity. And all the people said, Amen and praised the LORD.

Благословен да бъде Господ, Бог Израелев, отвека и довека. И целият народ каза: Амин! И възхвалиха Господа.

37 ¶ So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren to minister before the ark continually, each thing in its day;

Тогава Давид остави там, пред ковчега на Господния завет, Асаф и братята му, за да служат постоянно пред ковчега, според както беше нужно за всеки ден;

38 a nd Obededom with their brethren, sixty-eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters.

остави и Овид-едом и братята му, шестдесет и осем души; също и Овид-едом, Едутуновия син, и Оса за вратари;

39 A nd Zadok, the priest, and his brethren, the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

и свещеника Садок и братята му, свещениците, пред Господнята скиния на високото място, което беше в Гаваон,

40 t o offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

за да принасят всеизгаряне на Господа върху жертвеника за всеизгарянията винаги сутрин и вечер, точно според както е писано в закона, който Господ даде на Израел;

41 a nd with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest that were chosen expressly by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy is eternal.

и с тях постави Еман, Едутун и другите, определени по име, които бяха избрани да славословят Господа, защото Неговата милост е до века;

42 A nd with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals to sound, and with other musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

и при тях, т. е. при Еман и Едутун, имаше тръби и кимвали за онези, които трябваше да свирят с висок глас, и инструменти за Божиите песни. А Едутуновите синове бяха вратари.

43 A nd all the people departed each one to his house; and David returned to bless his house.

И така, целият народ си отиде, всеки в къщата си; и Давид се върна да благослови дома си.
