1 ¶ Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

(По слав. 28.) Давидов псалом. Отдайте на Господа, вие, синове на силите, отдайте на Господа слава и могъщество.

2 G ive unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Отдайте на Господа дължимата на името Му слава; поклонете се на Господа в свята премяна.

3 T he voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.

Гласът Господен е над водите; Бог на славата гърми; Господ гърми над големите води,

4 T he voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

гласът Господен е силен; гласът Господен е величествен.

5 T he voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD broke the cedars of Lebanon.

Гласът Господен троши кедри. Да! Господ троши ливанските кедри

6 A nd He made them skip like a calves; Lebanon and Sirion like the sons of the unicorns.

и ги прави да скачат като теле, Ливан и Сирион - като див вол в младостта си.

7 T he voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

Гласът Господен разцепва огнени пламъци.

8 T he voice of the LORD that shall shake the wilderness; the LORD shall shake the wilderness of Kadesh.

Гласът Господен разтърсва пустинята; Господ разтърсва пустинята Кадис.

9 T he voice of the LORD shall make the hinds to calve and shall uncover the forests: and in his temple every one speaks to his glory.

Гласът Господен прави да раждат кошутите и оголва горите; а в храма Му всеки възгласява: Слава!

10 T he LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sat down as King for ever.

Господ седна като Цар над Потопа. Да! Господ седи като Цар до века.

11 T he LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people in peace.

Господ ще даде сила на народа Си; Господ ще благослови народа Си с мир.
