1 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, eat what thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

Той ми каза: Сине човешки, изяж това, което намираш; изяж този свитък и иди, говори на Израелевия дом.

2 S o I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

И така, отворих устата си; и той ме накара да ям свитъка.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. I ate it and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

После ми каза: Сине човешки, нека коремът ти смила този свитък, който ти давам, и нека червата ти се наситят от него. Тогава го изядох и той беше в устата ми сладък като мед.

4 T hen he said unto me, Son of man, go and enter into the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Каза ми още: Сине човешки, иди, отправи се към Израелевия дом и им говори с Моите думи.

5 F or thou art not sent to a people of a profound speech nor of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;

Защото не си изпратен при народ с непознат език и труден говор, а при Израелевия дом -

6 n ot to many peoples of profound speech nor of hard language, whose words thou can not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

не при много племена с непознат език и труден говор, чиито думи не разбираш. Навярно ако те пращах при такива, те щяха да те послушат.

7 B ut the house of Israel will not desire to hear; for they do not desire to hear me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Но Израелевият дом няма да те послуша, защото не искат да послушат и Мене; понеже целият Израелев дом е с кораво чело и жестоко сърце.

8 B ehold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

Ето, направих лицето ти твърдо против техните лица и челото ти - твърдо против техните чела.

9 A s diamond harder than flint I have made thy forehead: do not fear them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

Като диамант, по-твърд от кремък, направих челото ти; да не се боиш от тях, нито да се ужасиш от погледа им, макар да са бунтовен дом.

10 M oreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

Каза ми още: Сине човешки, приеми в сърцето си и послушай с ушите си всички думи, които ще ти говоря;

11 A nd go, and enter in among the captives, unto the sons of thy people, and thou shalt speak unto them, and tell them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said, They will not hear, nor forbear.

и иди, отправи се към пленниците, към сънародниците си, и като им говориш, кажи: Така говори Господ Йехова - или послушали, или непослушали.

12 A nd the Spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of great thunder of the blessed glory of the LORD leaving his place,

Тогава Духът ме повдигна; и чух зад себе си глас на голямо спускане, който казваше: Благословена Господнята слава от мястото Му!

13 a nd the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of great thunder.

И чух фученето на крилата на живите същества, които крила се допираха едно до друго, и тропането на колелата край тях - шум на голямо спускане.

14 A nd the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

И така, Духът ме издигна и ме отнесе; и аз отидох с огорчение, в разпалването на духа си; но Господнята ръка беше мощна върху мене.

15 A nd I came unto the captives at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there disheartened among them seven days.

Тогава дойдох в Телавив при пленниците, които живееха при реката Ховар, и се настаних там, където те бяха настанени; и там останах смаян между тях седем дни. Йезекиил - страж на Израелевия дом

16 ¶ And it came to pass at the end of the seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

А след седем дни Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

17 S on of man, I have placed thee as a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me.

Сине човешки, поставих те страж за Израелевия дом; и така, слушай словото от устата Ми и ги предупреди от Моя страна.

18 W hen I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die and thou dost not give him warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, that he might live, the same wicked man shall die for his iniquity; but his blood I will require at thine hand.

Когато кажа на беззаконника: Непременно ще умреш; а ти не го предупредиш и не говориш, за да предпазиш беззаконника от беззаконния му път, за да спасиш живота му, онзи беззаконник ще умре в беззаконието си; но от твоята ръка ще изискам кръвта му.

19 Y et if thou warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness nor from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Обаче ако предупредиш беззаконника, а той не се отвърне от беззаконието си и от беззаконния си път, той ще умре в беззаконието си; а ти си избавил душата си.

20 A gain, When the righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die because thou hast not given him warning; he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at thy hand.

Пак - ако праведникът се отвърне от правдата си и извърши беззаконие, като Аз поставя препънка пред него, той ще умре; понеже ти не си го предупредил, той ще умре в греха си и правдата, която е вършил, няма да се помни; но от твоята ръка ще изискам кръвта му.

21 N evertheless if thou warn the righteous man that the righteous not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Но ако предупредиш праведника, за да не съгреши, и праведникът не съгреши, той непременно ще живее, защото се е свестил, и ти си избавил душата си.

22 ¶ And the hand of the LORD came upon me there; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will talk with thee there.

И ръката на Господа беше там върху мене; Той ми каза: Стани, излез на полето и там ще ти говоря.

23 T hen I arose and went forth into the plain, and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar; and I fell on my face.

Тогава станах и излязох на полето; и, ето, Господнята слава стоеше там - като славата, която видях при реката Ховар; и паднах на лицето си.

24 T hen spirit entered into me and set me upon my feet, and he spoke with me and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.

Тогава Духът влезе в мене, изправи ме на краката ми и ми говори: Иди, затвори се в къщата си.

25 A nd thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them;

На тебе, сине човешки, ето, ще сложат на тебе връзки и ще те вържат с тях, така че няма да излезеш между народа.

26 a nd I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth that thou shalt be dumb and shalt not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house.

И ще направя езикът ти да залепне за небцето ти и ще бъдеш ням, и няма да бъдеш за тях изобличител; защото са бунтовен дом.

27 B ut when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: He that hears, let him hear, and he that forbears; let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.

Но когато ти говоря, ще отворя устата ти; и ти им кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Който слуша, нека слуша; и който не слуша, нека не слуша; защото са бунтовен дом.
