1 ¶ Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song unto the LORD and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

Тогава Моисей и израелтяните запяха тази песен на Господа: Ще пея на Господа, защото е величествен; коня и ездача му хвърли в морето.

2 T he LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my saving health; he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Господ е сила моя, песен моя. И стана мой Спасител; Той е мой Бог и ще Го прославя, Бог на бащите ми и ще Го превъзнеса.

3 T he LORD is a man of war; the LORD is his name.

Господ е силен Воин; името Му е Йехова.

4 P haraoh’s chariots and his host he has cast into the sea; his chosen princes also are drowned in the Red sea.

Колесниците на фараон и войската му хвърли в морето; отбраните му пълководци потънаха в Червеното море.

5 T he depths have covered them; they sank into the bottom as a stone.

Дълбочините ги покриха; като камък слязоха в бездните.

6 T hy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power; thy right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

Десницата Ти, Господи, се прослави в сила; десницата Ти, Господи, смаза неприятеля.

7 A nd in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown those that rose up against thee; thou didst send forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

С превъзходното Си величие унищожи противниците Си; даде воля на гнева Си и ги изгори като слама.

8 A nd with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as a heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

От духането на ноздрите Ти водите се струпаха на куп, вълните застанаха като грамада, водите на бездната се сгъстиха сред морето.

9 T he enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

Неприятелят каза: Ще подгоня, ще стигна, ще разделя плячката; страстта ми ще се насити с тях; ще изтегля меча си, ръката ми ще ги погуби.

10 T hou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them. They sank as lead in the mighty waters.

Подухнал Си с вятъра Си и морето ги покри. Потънаха като олово в силните води.

11 W ho is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, magnificent in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Кой е подобен на Тебе, Господи, между боговете? Кой е подобен на Тебе, величествен в святост, страховит, за да Те прославят, правещ чудеса?

12 T hou didst stretch out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

Протегна десницата Си и земята ги погълна.

13 T hou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed; thou hast guided them in thy strength unto the habitation of thy holiness.

С милостта Си ще водиш народа, който си изкупил; упътил Си ги със силата Си към святото Си обиталище.

14 T he peoples shall hear and be afraid; sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.

Племената ще чуят и ще затреперят; ужас ще обладае филистимските жители.

15 T hen the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling, shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

Тогава ще се уплашат едомските първенци; трепет ще обземе моавските първенци; всички жители на Ханаан ще се стопят.

16 F ear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone, until thy people pass over, O LORD, until the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.

Страх и трепет ще ги обземе; чрез великата Ти мишца ще станат неподвижни като камък. Докато замине народът Ти, Господи, докато замине народът, който Си придобил.

17 T hou shalt bring them in and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place of thy dwelling which thou hast made ready, O LORD, in the Sanctuary of the Lord, which thy hands have established.

Ще ги въведеш и насадиш в хълма на Твоето наследство, на мястото, Господи, което Си приготвил за Свое обиталище, в светилището, Господи, което ръцете Ти утвърдиха.

18 T he LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

Господ ще царува до вечни векове.

19 F or Pharaoh went in on horseback with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the sons of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

Защото, когато фараоновите коне бяха влезли в морето с колесниците му и с конниците му, Господ беше върнал върху тях водите на морето; а израелтяните бяха преминали през морето по сухо.

20 A nd Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

Тогава пророчицата Мариам, Аароновата сестра, взе в ръката си тъпанче и всички жени излязоха след нея с тъпанчета и започнаха хора̀,

21 A nd Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

а Мариам им пееше ответно: Пейте на Господа, защото е издигнат нависоко; коня и ездача му хвърли в морето. От Червено море до планината Хорив (15: 22-18: 27) Водата в Мера

22 ¶ So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.

Тогава Моисей вдигна израелтяните от Червеното море и излязоха към пустинята Сур; и като вървяха три дни в пустинята, не намираха вода.

23 A nd when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore the name of it was called Marah.

После дойдоха в Мера, но не можеха да пият от водата на Мера, защото беше горчива (затова бе наречена Мера).

24 T hen the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

Тогава народът роптаеше против Моисей: Какво да пием?

25 A nd he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There he gave them statutes and rights, and there he proved them

А той извика към Господа и Господ му показа дърво; и като го хвърли във водата, водата се подслади. Там Бог им даде наредби и закон и там ги изпита:

26 a nd said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God and wilt do that which is right in his sight and wilt give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the LORD thy Healer.

Ако внимателно слушаш гласа на Господа, своя Бог, и вършиш онова, което Му е угодно, и слушаш заповедите Му, и пазиш всичките Му наредби, няма да те поразя с нито една от болестите, с които поразих египтяните; защото Аз съм Господ, Който те изцелявам.

27 A nd they came to Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.

После дойдоха в Елим, където имаше дванадесет водни извора и седемдесет палмови дървета; и там се разположиха на стан при водите.
