1 ¶ And it came to pass that when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judaea beyond the Jordan;

Когато Исус свърши тези думи, тръгна от Галилея и дойде в пределите на Юдея отвъд Йордан.

2 a nd a great multitude followed him, and he healed them there.

И големи множества вървяха след Него; и Той ги изцели там. За брака

3 ¶ Then the Pharisees came unto him, tempting him and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for any cause?

Тогава при Него дойдоха фарисеи, които, като Го изпитваха, казаха: Позволено ли е на човек да напусне жена си по всякаква причина?

4 A nd he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he who made them at the beginning made them male and female?

А той отговори: Не сте ли чели, че Онзи, Който ги е сътворил, сътворил ги е отначало мъжко и женско създание и е казал:

5 A nd said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.

"Затова ще остави човек баща си и майка си и ще се привърже към жена си; и двамата ще бъдат една плът"?

6 T herefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.

Така че те не са вече двама, а една плът. И така, онова, което Бог е съчетал, човек да не го разлъчва.

7 T hey say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a bill of divorce and to put her away?

Казаха му: Тогава Моисей защо заповяда мъжът ѝ да ѝ даде разводно писмо и да я напусне?

8 H e said unto them, Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, suffered you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.

Каза им: Поради вашето коравосърдечие Моисей ви е позволил да напускате жените си; но отначало не е било така.

9 A nd I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication and shall marry another, commits adultery, and whosoever marries her that is put away commits adultery.

И ви казвам: Който напусне жена си, освен поради прелюбодейство, и се ожени за друга, той прелюбодейства, и който се ожени за нея, когато бъде напусната, той прелюбодейства.

10 H is disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.

Учениците Му казаха: Ако такова е задължението на мъжа към жената, по-добре да не се жени.

11 B ut he said unto them, Everyone cannot receive this word, except those unto whom it is given.

А Той им каза: Не всички могат да приемат тези думи, но онези, на които е дадено.

12 F or there are some eunuchs who were so born from their mother’s womb; and there are some eunuchs who were made eunuchs of men; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs because of the kingdom of the heavens. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Защото има скопци, които така са родени от утробата на майка си; има пък скопци, които са били скопени от човеци; а има и скопци, които сами себе си са скопили заради небесното царство. Който може да приеме това, нека приеме. Исус Христос благославя децата

13 ¶ Then were there brought unto him little children that he should put his hands on them and pray, and the disciples rebuked them.

Тогава доведоха при Него дечица, за да положи ръце на тях и да се помоли; а учениците ги смъмриха.

14 B ut Jesus said, Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens.

А Исус каза: Оставете дечицата и не ги възпирайте да дойдат при Мене, защото на такива е небесното царство.

15 A nd he laid his hands on them and departed from there.

И положи ръце на тях и замина оттам. Богатство и вечен живот

16 ¶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

И, ето, един младеж дойде при Него и каза: Учителю, какво добро да направя, за да имам вечен живот?

17 A nd he said unto him, Why dost thou call me good? There is none good but one, that is, God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

А Той му отговори: Защо питаш Мене за доброто? Един Бог има, Който е добър. Но ако искаш да влезеш в живота, пази заповедите.

18 H e said unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Каза Му: Кои? Исус отвърна: Тези: Не убивай; не прелюбодействай; не кради; не лъжесвидетелствай;

19 H onour thy father and thy mother, and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

почитай баща си и майка си; и обичай ближния си както себе си.

20 T he young man said unto him, All these things I have kept from my youth up; what do I lack?

Младежът Му каза: Всичко това съм пазил от младостта си, какво още не ми достига?

21 J esus said unto him, If thou desire to be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me.

Исус му каза: Ако искаш да бъдеш съвършен, иди, продай имота си и дай на сиромасите; и ще имаш съкровище на небесата; и ела и Ме следвай.

22 B ut when the young man heard that word, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Но младежът, като чу тези думи, отиде си наскърбен, защото беше човек с много имот.

23 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, It is difficult that a rich man shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

А Исус каза на учениците Си: Истина ви казвам: Трудно ще влезе богат в небесното царство.

24 A nd again I say unto you, It is easier to put a cable through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

При това ви казвам: По-лесно е камила да мине през иглени уши, отколкото богат да влезе в Божието царство.

25 B ut his disciples hearing these things were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

А учениците, като чуха това, твърде много се зачудиха и казаха: Като е така, кой може да се спаси?

26 B ut Jesus beheld them and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

А Исус ги погледна и им каза: За хората това е невъзможно, но за Бога всичко е възможно.

27 T hen Peter answered and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

Тогава Петър Му отговори: Ето, ние оставихме всичко и Те последвахме; тогава какво ще имаме?

28 A nd Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

А Исус им каза: Истина ви казвам, че във време на обновлението на всичко, когато Човешкият Син ще седне на славния Си престол, вие, които Ме последвахте, също ще седнете на дванадесетте престола да съдите дванадесетте Израелеви племена.

29 A nd every one that has forsaken houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my name’s sake shall receive a hundredfold and shall inherit eternal life.

И всеки, който е оставил къщи или братя, или сестри, или баща, или майка, или жена, или деца, или ниви заради Моето име, ще получи стократно и ще наследи вечен живот.

30 B ut many that are first shall be last, and many of the last shall be first.

Обаче мнозина, които са първи, ще бъдат последни, а последните - първи.
