1 ¶ Woe to the sons that leave, saith the LORD, to make counsel, but not of me; to cover themselves with a covering, and not by my spirit, adding sin unto sin!

Горко на непокорните деца, казва Господ, които се съветват, но не с Мен, и които сключват договори, но не чрез Моя Дух, и прибавят грях към грях;

2 T hey leave to descend into Egypt and have not asked for a word from my mouth, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh and to place their hope in the shadow of Egypt.

които отиват, за да слязат в Египет, без да се допитват до Моите уста, за да се закрепят със силата на фараона и да прибегнат под сянката на Египет!

3 B ut the strength of Pharaoh shall become your shame, and the hope in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Затова фараоновата сила ще ви бъде за срам и прибягването под египетската сянка - за смущение.

4 W hen his princes shall be in Zoan, and his ambassadors have come to Hanes,

Защото началниците му отидоха в Танис и посланиците му дойдоха в Ханес.

5 a ll shall be ashamed of the people that shall not profit them, nor be a help, nor bring them increase, but a shame, and also a reproach.

Те всички ще се срамуват поради хора, които не могат да ги ползват, нито да бъдат помощ или полза, а са за срам и дори за укор.

6 T he burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent; they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

Изявеното пророчество за южните животни: През наскърбената и измъчена земя, където има лъвица и силен лъв, ехидна и летяща змия - усойница, занасят богатството си на плещите на оселчетата и съкровищата си - на гърбицата на камилите, при хора, които няма да ги ползват,

7 F or the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose; therefore I have cried out concerning this that your strength should be to sit still.

защото помощта от Египет ще бъде суетна и безполезна; затова го нарекох: Рахав, който бездейства.

8 ¶ Now go, write this vision before them on a tablet and note it in a book that it may remain unto the last day, for ever, unto all ages.

Сега иди, напиши това пред тях на дъсчица и го отбележи в книга, за да остане за бъдещото време за свидетелство довека:

9 T hat this is a rebellious people, lying sons, sons that did not desire to hear the law of the LORD:

че те са непокорен народ, деца - лъжци, деца, които не искат да слушат поуката Господня,

10 W ho say to those that see, See not; and to the prophets, Do not prophesy right things unto us, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

които казват на ясновидците: Не гледайте, и на пророците: Не ни пророкувайте правото, а ни говорите ласкателно, пророкувайте измами,

11 G et you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to leave our presence.

отстъпете от пътя, отклонете се от пътеката, махнете отпред нас Святия Израелев.

12 T herefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in violence and perversity and build upon this:

Затова така казва Святият Израелев: Понеже презирате това слово и уповавате на насилието и извратеността, и се опирате на тях,

13 T herefore this sin shall be to you as an open wall ready to fall and as a breach in a high defence, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.

по тази причина това беззаконие ще ви бъде като пропукана част на издатина на висока стена, готова да падне, чието рухване става внезапно - в един миг.

14 A nd your destruction shall be as the breaking of a potter’s vessel that without mercy is broken to pieces so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it even a shard to take fire from the hearth or to take water from the well.

И Той ще я разломи, строшавайки я безпощадно, както се чупи глинен съд, така че между частите му да не се намира и парченце, в което някой да вземе огън от огнището или да гребне вода от водоема.

15 F or the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel has said; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Защото така казва Господ Йехова, Святият Израелев: Чрез завръщане и почивка ще се избавите, в безмълвие и увереност ще бъде силата ви; но вие не искахте това;

16 B ut ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be even more swift.

а казахте: Не, а ще побегнем с коне; затова ще бягате; и: Ще яздим на бързи животни; затова и онези, които ви гонят, ще бъдат бързи.

17 O ne thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five ye shall all flee: until ye are left as a mast upon the top of a mountain and as a banner of example on a hill.

Ще бягате - хиляда души под заплахата на един или под заплахата на петима, докато останете като оголено дърво на планински връх и като знаме на хълм.

18 ¶ And therefore will the LORD wait for you, that he may have mercy on you, and therefore will he be exalted having mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all those that wait for him.

Затова Господ ще чака, за да се смили над вас, и по тази причина ще се превъзнесе, за да ви пожали; защото Господ е Бог правосъдещ; блажени всички, които Го чакат.

19 F or the people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he who has mercy shall show mercy unto thee; at the voice of thy cry when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

О, народе, който живееш в Сион, в Йерусалим, ти няма вече да плачеш; Той наистина ще се смили над тебе при гласа на вопъла ти; когато го чуе, ще ти отговори.

20 B ut the Lord shall give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction; thy rain shall never more be taken away, but thine eyes shall see thy rain:

Дори и Господ да ви даде хляб на скръб и вода на утеснение, пак учителите ти няма да бъдат скрити вече, но очите ти ще виждат учителите ти;

21 T hen thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, that ye not turn to the right hand and that ye not turn to the left hand.

и ушите ти ще слушат зад тебе слово, което, когато се отклонявате надясно и когато се отклонявате наляво, ще казва: Този е пътят, вървете по него.

22 Y e shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver and the protection of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Go away from here.

Тогава вие ще сметнете за гнусно среброто, с което са обковани изваяните ви идоли, и златото, с което са облечени излетите ви идоли; ще ги отхвърлите като нещо нечисто, ще кажете на всеки от тях: Махни се оттук.

23 T hen he shall give the rain unto thy planting when thou shalt sow the ground; and bread of the fruit of the earth, and it shall be fat and fertile: in that day thy cattle shall feed in large pastures.

И Господ ще даде дъжд за семето ти, с което ще посееш нивата си, и хляб от земното плодородие, който ще бъде хранителен и в изобилие, и в онова време добитъкът ти ще пасе в широки паши,

24 T hine oxen and thine asses that work the ground shall eat clean grain, which has been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

също и воловете и оселчетата, които работят земята, ще ядат вкусна зоб, веяна с лопата и веяло.

25 A nd there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers shall fall.

И ще има на всяка висока планина и на всяко високо бърдо реки и водни потоци - в деня на голямото клане, когато кулите паднат.

26 M oreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of his people and heals the stroke of their wound.

При това светлината на луната ще бъде като светлината на слънцето и светлината на слънцето ще бъде седмократна - като светлината на седем дни, в деня, когато Господ превързва раната на народа Си и изцелява поражението от удара върху тях.

27 ¶ Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar; his face is blazing and difficult to gaze upon: his lips are full of indignation and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Ето, името на Господа иде отдалеч; гневът Му е пламнал и гъстият Му дим се издига; устните Му са пълни с негодувание, езикът Му е като поглъщащ огън

28 A nd his Spirit, as an overflowing stream, shall break even unto the neck to sift the Gentiles with the sieve of vanity and to put a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

и диханието Му - като прелял поток, който достига дори до шия; за да пресее народите в ситото на погубването; и в челюстите на племената ще има юзда, която ще ги накара да се заблуждават.

29 Y e shall have a song, as in the night in which the Passover is kept and gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute to come into the mountain of the LORD to the mighty One of Israel.

У вас ще има песен, както в нощта на тържествен празник, и сърдечна веселба, както когато тръгват със свирки, за да отидат при канарата Израелева, на Господния хълм.

30 A nd the LORD shall cause the power of his voice to be heard and shall cause the lighting down of his arm to be seen, with the indignation of his countenance and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering and tempest and hailstones.

И Господ ще направи да се чуе славният Му глас и да се види тежкият замах на мишцата Му с гневно негодувание и с пламък на поглъщащ огън, с буен дъжд, с буря и с едър град.

31 F or through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

Защото асириецът, който удря с жезъл, ще бъде смазан чрез гласа Господен.

32 A nd in every evil place there shall be a staff that the LORD shall cause to lay upon him with tambourines and harps: and with the strength of heaven he will fight against her.

И всеки удар със съдбоносния жезъл, който Господ ще сложи върху него, ще бъде с тъпанчета и арфи; и с потресаващи боеве ще воюва против тях.

33 F or Tophet is ordained of yesterday for the king of Babylon, it is also prepared; he has deepened and enlarged the pile of her fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD like a stream of brimstone kindles it.

Защото Тофет отдавна е приготвен. Да! За царя приготвен; той го направи дълбок и широк; клада има в него и много дърва; диханието Господне, като поток от сяра, ще го запали.
