1 ¶ Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous, for to the upright praise is beautiful.

(По слав. 32.) Радвайте се, праведници, в Господа; прилично е за праведните да въздават хваление.

2 C elebrate unto the LORD with harp; sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Хвалете Господа с арфа, пейте Му псалми с десетострунен псалтир.

3 S ing unto him a new song; play unto excellence with joy.

Пейте Му нова песен, свирете изкусно с възклицание.

4 F or the word of the LORD is right, and all his works are done in truth.

Защото словото на Господа е право и всичките Му дела са извършени с вярност.

5 H e loves righteousness and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the LORD.

Той обича правда и правосъдие; земята е пълна с милосърдието Господне.

6 B y the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Чрез словото на Господа станаха небесата и чрез диханието на устата Му - цялото им множество.

7 H e gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; he lays up the deeps for treasures.

Той събра като куп морските води, сложи бездните в съкровищници.

8 L et all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Нека се бои от Господа цялата земя; нека благоговеят с боязън пред Него всички жители на вселената.

9 F or he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it came into being.

Защото Той каза и стана; Той заповяда и се затвърди.

10 T he LORD brings the counsel of the Gentiles to nought; he makes the devices of the peoples of no effect.

Господ осуетява намеренията на народите; прави безполезни мислите на племената.

11 T he counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Намеренията на Господа стоят твърди до века, мислите на сърцето Му - от род в род.

12 ¶ Blessed is the people whose God is the LORD; the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

Блажен онзи народ, на когото Бог е Господ - народът, който е избрал за Свое наследство.

13 T he LORD looked from heaven; he saw all the sons of Adam.

Господ гледа от небето, наблюдава всички човешки синове;

14 F rom the place of his habitation he looked upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

от местообиталището Си гледа всички земни жители -

15 H e fashioned all of their hearts; he considers all their works.

Онзи, Който създаде сърцата на всички тях, Който познава всичките им дела.

16 T he king is not saved by the multitude of the army; the mighty man does not escape by much strength.

Никой цар не се избавя чрез многобройна войска, силен мъж не се отървава чрез голямо юначество.

17 A horse is a vain thing for salvation; neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

Безполезен е конят за избавление и чрез голямата си сила не може да избави никого.

18 B ehold, the eye of the LORD is upon those that fear him, upon those that wait for his mercy

Ето, окото на Господа е върху онези, които се боят от Него, върху онези, които се надяват на Неговата милост,

19 t o deliver their souls from death and to keep them alive in the famine.

за да избави от смърт душата им и в глад да ги опази живи.

20 O ur soul waited for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.

Душата ни чака Господа; Той е помощ наша и щит наш.

21 T herefore our heart shall rejoice in him because we have trusted in the name of his holiness.

Защото в Него ще се весели сърцето ни, понеже на Неговото свято име уповахме.

22 L et thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we have waited upon thee.

Дано бъде милостта Ти, Господи, върху нас, както сме се надявали на Тебе.
