1 ¶ Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

(По слав. 71.) Псалом за Соломон. Боже, дай Твоето правосъдие на царя и правдата Си - на царския син,

2 ¶ He shall judge thy people with righteousness and thy poor with judgment.

за да съди Твоя народ с правда и угнетените Ти - с правосъдие.

3 T he mountains shall bring peace to the people and the little hills by righteousness.

Планините ще донесат мир на народа и хълмовете - мир с правда.

4 H e shall judge the poor of the people; he shall save the children of the destitute and shall break in pieces the violent.

Той ще съди справедливо угнетените между народа, ще избави синовете на бедните и ще смаже насилника.

5 T hey shall fear thee along with the sun and before the moon throughout all generations.

Ще се боят от Тебе, докато трае слънцето и докато съществува луната, от родове в родове.

6 H e shall come down like rain upon the mown grass as the dew that waters the earth.

Той ще слезе като дъжд върху окосена ливада, като ситен дъжд, който оросява земята.

7 I n his days shall righteousness flourish and abundance of peace until there is no longer any moon.

В неговите дни ще цъфти праведният и мир ще изобилва, докато трае луната.

8 H e shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Той ще владее от море до море и от Ефрат до краищата на земята.

9 T hose that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

Пред него ще коленичат жителите на пустинята; и неприятелите му ще лижат пръстта.

10 T he kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Царете на Тарсис и на островите ще донесат подаръци; царете на Шева и на Сева ще поднесат дарове.

11 Y ea, all kings shall fall down before him; all Gentiles shall serve him.

Да! Ще му се поклонят всички царе, всичките народи ще му слугуват.

12 F or he shall deliver the destitute when he cries and the poor that has no helper.

Защото той ще избавя сиромаха, когато вика, и угнетения, и безпомощния.

13 H e shall have mercy on the poor and destitute and shall save the souls of the poor in spirit.

Ще се смили над сиромаха и немотния и ще спаси душите на немотните.

14 H e shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

От угнетение и насилие ще изкупи душите им; и скъпоценна ще бъде кръвта им пред очите му.

15 A nd he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily he shall be given blessings.

И ще живее; и на него ще бъде дадено от шевското злато; винаги ще се възнася молитва за него и цял ден ще го благославят.

16 T here shall be planted a handful of grain in the earth upon the tops of the mountains; its fruit shall thunder like Lebanon; and out of the city they shall blossom like the grass of the earth.

Изобилие от жито ще има на земята, до върховете на планините; плодът му ще се люлее като ливанската планина; и жителите по градовете ще цъфтят като земната трева.

17 H is name shall endure for ever; before the sun his name shall be disseminated, and all Gentiles shall be blessed in him; they shall call him blessed.

Името му ще пребъдва довека; името му ще се продължава, докато трае слънцето; и ще се благославят в него хората; всички народи ще го облажават.

18 ¶ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, the only one who does wondrous things

Благословен да е Господ, Бог Израелев, Който Един прави чудеса;

19 A nd blessed be his glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

и благословено да бъде славното Негово име довека; и нека се изпълни със славата Му цялата земя. Амин и амин.
