1 ¶ The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 T hus hath the LORD God of Israel spoken, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

Така говори Господ, Израелевият Бог: Напиши в книга всичките думи, които ти говорих.

3 F or, Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will turn the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, said the LORD, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Защото идат дни, казва Господ, когато ще върна от плен народа Си Израел и Юда, казва Господ; и ще ги върна в земята, която дадох на бащите им, и ще я владеят.

4 A nd these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

И ето думите, които Господ говори за Израел и Юда:

5 F or thus hath the LORD said; We have heard a voice of trembling, of terror, and not of peace.

Защото така казва Господ: Чухме шум на треперене; страх има, а не мир.

6 A sk now, and see whether the man doth travail with child? for I have seen that every man has his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail; and all faces have turned pale.

Попитайте сега и вижте - мъж ражда ли? Тогава защо гледам всеки мъж с ръцете си на кръста - като жена, която ражда, и лицата на всички пребледнели?

7 A las! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Горко! Защото велик е онзи ден, подобен на него не е имало; именно той е време на утеснението на Яков; но ще бъде избавен от него.

8 F or it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of the hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no longer place him in servitude,

В онзи ден, казва Господ на Силите, ще строша хомота му от врата ти, ще разкъсам оковите ти и чужденци няма вече да го поробват;

9 b ut they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

а ще слугуват на Господа, своя Бог, и на царя си Давид, когото ще им въздигна.

10 ¶ Therefore fear thou not, O my slave Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I am he that saves thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall turn, and shall rest, and be quiet, and there shall be no one left to scatter him.

Затова не бой се, служителю Мой, Якове, казва Господ, нито се страхувай, Израелю; защото, ето, ще те избавя от далечната страна, и потомството ти - от земята, където са пленени; и Яков, като се върне, ще се успокои и ще си почине, и няма да има кой да го плаши.

11 F or I shall be with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee; and I shall make a full end in all Gentiles among whom I scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will chastise thee with judgment and will not cut thee off altogether.

Защото Аз съм с тебе, казва Господ, за да те избавя; понеже при все че ще довърша всичките народи, където съм те разпръснал, теб, обаче, не искам да довърша; а ще те накажа с мярка, тъй като не мога да те изкарам съвсем невинен.

12 F or thus hath the LORD said, Thy breach is incurable, and thy sore is grievous.

Защото така казва Господ: Смазването ти е неизцелимо, раната ти - тежка.

13 T here is no one to judge thy cause unto health; there is no cure, nor are there any medicines for thee.

Няма кой да ходатайства за тебе, за да бъдеш превързан; ти нямаш целителни лекове.

14 A ll thy lovers have forgotten thee; they do not seek thee; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the whip of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.

Всичките ти любовници те забравиха, не те търсят; защото те нараних с рана като от неприятел, с наказание от жесток човек поради многото твои беззакония и понеже греховете ти се умножиха.

15 W hy dost thou cry out for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the greatness of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

Защо викаш за смазването си и понеже болката ти е неизцелима? Поради многото твои беззакония и понеже греховете ти се умножиха - по тази причина ти сторих това.

16 T herefore all those that devour thee shall be devoured; and all those that afflict thee, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and those that trampled upon thee shall be trodden down, and all that prey upon thee I will give for a prey.

Затова всички, които те изпояждат, ще бъдат изпоядени; и всичките ти противници, всички до един, ще отидат в плен; още - и онези, които ограбват, ще бъдат ограбени, и всички, които те обират, ще ги предам на обир.

17 F or I will cause healing to come for thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, said the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.

Защото ще ти възстановя здравето и ще те изцеля от раните ти, казва Господ. Понеже те нарекоха отхвърлен и казаха: Това е Сион, за когото никой не го е грижа,

18 ¶ Thus hath the LORD said; Behold, I will turn the captivity of Jacob’s tents and have mercy on his dwelling places and the city shall be built upon her own hill, and the temple according to her judgment shall stand.

така казва Господ: Ето, Аз ще върна от плена Якововите шатри и ще се смиля над жилищата му; всеки град ще бъде съграден на своята грамада развалини и палатът ще се възстанови, както е бил преди.

19 A nd out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of people that live in joy: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be decreased; I will multiply them, and they shall not be cut down.

И от тях ще се издига благодарение и глас на онези, които се веселят; и Аз ще ги умножа и няма да се намалят, ще ги прославя и няма да се унижат.

20 T heir sons shall also be as at first, and their congregation shall be confirmed before me, and I will visit all their oppressors.

Синовете им ще бъдат както преди и тяхното събрание ще се утвърди пред Мен; и ще накажа всички, които ги угнетяват.

21 A nd of him shall be their Rock, and from the midst of him shall their Governor come forth; and I will cause him to come near, and he shall draw near unto me: for who is this that softened his heart to approach unto me? said the LORD.

Първенецът им ще бъде от тях и управителят им ще произлезе измежду тях; Аз ще го направя да се приближава и той ще се приближава към Мене; защото кой е този, които е утвърдил сърцето си да се приближи към Мене? - казва Господ.

22 A nd ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

И вие ще Ми бъдете народ, а Аз ще ви бъда Бог.

23 B ehold, the whirlwind of the LORD goes forth with fury, the whirlwind which is preparing itself; it shall remain upon the head of the wicked.

Ето, ураган от Господа, Неговата ярост излезе, вихрушка, която помита; ще избухне върху главата на нечестивите.

24 T he fierce anger of the LORD shall not return until he has done it and until he has performed the intents of his heart; in the end of the days ye shall understand this.

Пламенният гняв на Господа няма да се върне, докато Той не извърши и докато не изпълни намеренията на сърцето Си; в последните дни вие ще разберете това.
