1 ¶ Now upon the first of the sabbaths, very early in the morning they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

А в първия ден на седмицата, сутринта рано, жените дойдоха на гроба, като носеха аромати, които бяха приготвили.

2 A nd they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

И намериха камъка отвален от гроба.

3 A nd they entered in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

И като влязоха, не намериха тялото на Господ Исус.

4 A nd it came to pass as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments;

А докато бяха в недоумение за това, ето, пред тях застанаха двама мъже с ослепително облекло.

5 a nd as they were afraid and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

И обзети от страх, те наведоха лица към земята; а мъжете им казаха: Защо търсите Живия между мъртвите?

6 H e is not here, but is risen; remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Няма Го тук, но възкръсна. Спомнете си какво ви говореше, когато беше още в Галилея,

7 s aying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

като казваше, че Човешкият Син трябва да бъде предаден на грешни човеци, да бъде разпънат и на третия ден да възкръсне.

8 T hen they remembered his words

И си спомниха думите Му.

9 a nd returned from the sepulchre and told all these things unto the eleven and to all the rest.

И като се върнаха от гроба, известиха всичко това на единадесетте и на всички други.

10 I t was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and other women that were with them who told these things unto the apostles.

А това бяха Мария Магдалена, Йоанна и Мария, майката на Яков, и другите жени с тях, които казаха тези неща на апостолите.

11 A nd their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they did not believe them.

А тези думи им се видяха като празни приказки и не им повярваха.

12 B ut Peter arose and ran unto the sepulchre, and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

А Петър стана и изтича на гроба, и като надникна, видя саваните, положени отделно; и отиде у дома си, като се чудеше за станалото. Исус Христос се явява на двама ученици по пътя за Емаус

13 ¶ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was about sixty furlongs from Jerusalem.

И, ето, в същия ден двама от тях отиваха в едно село на име Емаус, отдалечено на шестдесет стадия от Йерусалим.

14 A nd they talked together of all these things which had happened.

И те разговаряха помежду си за всичко онова, което беше станало.

15 A nd it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near and went together with them.

И докато разговаряха и разискваха, сам Исус се приближи и вървеше с тях;

16 B ut their eyes were held fast that they should not know him.

но силата на очите им бе отслабена, за да не Го познаят.

17 A nd he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another as ye walk and are sad?

Той им каза: Какви са тези думи, които разменяте помежду си по пътя? И те се спряха натъжени.

18 A nd one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

И един от тях, на име Клеопа, Му отговори: Нима само Ти ли си пришълец в Йерусалим и не си узнал това, което стана там тези дни?

19 T hen he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

И ги попита: Кое? А те му отговориха: Станалото с Исус Назарянина, Който беше пророк, силен в дело и слово пред Бога и пред целия народ;

20 a nd how the princes of the priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and crucified him.

и как нашите главни свещеници и началници Го предадоха да бъде осъден на смърт и Го разпънаха.

21 B ut we were hoping that it was he who should redeem Israel, and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.

А ние се надявахме, че Той е Онзи, Който ще избави Израел. И освен всичко това вече е трети ден, откакто стана това.

22 A lthough also certain women of our company made us astonished, who before daybreak were at the sepulchre;

При това и някои от жените измежду нас ни смаяха, като отишли рано сутринта на гроба

23 a nd when they did not find his body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

и не намерили тялото Му, дойдоха и казаха, че видели и видение на ангели, които казали, че Той бил жив.

24 A nd certain of those who were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said; but they did not see him.

И някои от онези, които бяха с нас, отидоха на гроба и намериха всичко така, както казаха жените; а Него не видели.

25 T hen he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken;

И Той им каза: О, неразумни и мудни по сърце, да вярвате във всичко, което са говорили пророците!

26 o ught not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter (like this) into his glory?

Не трябваше ли Христос да пострада така и да влезе в Своята слава?

27 A nd beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded this unto them in all the scriptures concerning himself.

И като почна от Моисей и от всички пророци, им тълкуваше писаното за Него във всичките Писания.

28 A nd they drew near unto the village where they went, and he made as though he would have gone further.

И приближиха селото, в което отиваха; а Той се държеше, като че отива по-надалеч.

29 B ut they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

Но те Го задържаха и казаха: Остани с нас, защото е привечер и денят вече е превалил. И Той влезе да остане с тях.

30 A nd it came to pass as he sat at the table with them, he took bread and blessed it and broke and gave to them.

И когато седна с тях на трапезата, взе хляба и благослови, разчупи и им го подаде.

31 A nd their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Тогава очите им се отвориха и те Го познаха; а Той стана невидим за тях.

32 A nd they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us in the way and while he opened to us the scriptures?

И разискваха помежду си: Не гореше ли в нас сърцето ни, когато ни говореше по пътя и когато ни тълкуваше Писанията?

33 A nd they rose up the same hour and returned to Jerusalem and found the eleven gathered together and those that were with them,

И в същия час станаха и се върнаха в Йерусалим, където намериха събрани единадесетте и тези, които бяха с тях,

34 s aying, The Lord is risen indeed and has appeared to Simon.

които казаха: Господ наистина възкръснал и се явил на Симон.

35 A nd they told what things were done in the way and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

Те пък разказаха за станалото по пътя и как Го познаха, когато разчупваше хляба. Исус Христос се явява на апостолите в Йерусалим

36 ¶ And as they spoke these things, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and said unto them, Peace be unto you.

И когато говореха за това, сам Исус застана между тях и им каза: Мир вам!

37 B ut they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they were seeing a spirit.

А те се стреснаха и се уплашиха, като мислеха, че виждат дух.

38 A nd he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

И Той им каза: Защо се смущавате и защо се пораждат такива мисли в сърцата ви?

39 B ehold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Погледнете ръцете Ми и нозете Ми - Аз съм същият; пипнете Ме и вижте, защото дух няма плът и кости, както виждате, че Аз имам.

40 A nd when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet.

И като каза това, им показа ръцете и нозете Си.

41 A nd as they were not believing him yet for joy and wondering, he said unto them, Have ye here any food?

Но понеже те от радост още не вярваха и се чудеха, Той каза: Имате ли тук нещо за ядене?

42 S o they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and of a honeycomb.

И Му дадоха парче печена риба и меден сок.

43 A nd he took it and ate before them.

И взе и яде пред тях.

44 A nd he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning me.

Исус им каза: Тези са думите, които ви говорих, когато бях още с вас, че трябва да се изпълни всичко, което е писано за Мене в Моисеевия закон, в пророците и в псалмите.

45 T hen he opened their understanding that they might understand the scriptures

Тогава им отвори ума, за да разберат Писанията.

46 a nd said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day;

И им каза: Така е писано, че Христос трябва да пострада и да възкръсне от мъртвите на третия ден,

47 a nd that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

и че трябва да се проповядва в Негово име покаяние и прощение на греховете между всички народи, като се започне от Йерусалим.

48 A nd ye are witnesses of these things.

Вие сте свидетели за това.

49 A nd, behold, I shall send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye are endued with power from on high.

И, ето, Аз изпращам върху вас обещанието на Моя Отец; а вие стойте в града Йерусалим, докато се облечете със сила отгоре. Възнесението на Исус Христос

50 ¶ And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.

И ги заведе до едно място срещу Витания; и вдигна ръцете Си да ги благослови.

51 A nd it came to pass while he blessed them, he was parted from them and carried up into heaven.

И като ги благославяше, отдели се от тях и се възнесе на небето.

52 A nd they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy

А те Му се поклониха и се върнаха в Йерусалим с голяма радост;

53 a nd were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

и прекарваха постоянно в храма, като хвалеха и благославяха Бога.
