1 ¶ Then Elisha, the prophet, called one of the sons of the prophets and said unto him, Gird up thy loins and take this flask of oil in thy hand and go to Ramothgilead.

Тогава пророк Елисей повика един от пророческите ученици и му каза: Препаши кръста си, вземи в ръката си този съд с миро и иди в Рамот-галаад;

2 A nd when thou comest there, thou shalt see Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, there; go in and make him arise up from among his brethren and take him to an inner chamber.

и като стигнеш там, потърси в същото място Ииуй, син на Йосафат, Намесиевия син; тогава влез при него, отдели го от братята му и го въведи в една вътрешна стая.

3 T hen take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, Thus hath the LORD said, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door and flee and do not tarry.

После вземи съда с мирото, излей го върху главата му и кажи: Така казва Господ: Помазах те за цар над Израел. Тогава отвори вратата и бягай, без да се забавиш.

4 S o the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.

И така, младият пророк отиде в Рамот-галаад.

5 A nd when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting, and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

Като стигна, военачалниците седяха заедно. Той каза: Имам да ти казвам нещо, о, военачалнико. Ииуй попита: Към кого от всички нас? А той отвърна: Към тебе, военачалнико.

6 A nd he arose and went into the house, and he poured the oil on his head and said unto him, Thus hath said the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

Ииуй стана и влезе в къщата. Тогава пророкът изля мирото на главата му и му каза: Така казва Господ, Израелевият Бог: Помазах те за цар над Господния народ, над Израел.

7 A nd thou shalt smite the house of Ahab, thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my slaves, the prophets, and the blood of all the slaves of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

И ти да поразиш дома на господаря си Ахаав, за да отмъстя на Езавел за кръвта на слугите Си, пророците, за кръвта на всички Господни слуги.

8 F or the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisses against the wall, he that is shut up as well as he that is left in Israel.

Защото целият Ахаавов дом ще бъде изтребен и ще погубя от Ахаав всеки от мъжки пол както малолетния, така и пълнолетния в Израел;

9 A nd I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha, the son of Ahijah.

и ще направя дома на Ахаав като дома на Еровоам, Наватовия син, и като дома на Ваас, Ахиевия син.

10 A nd the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be no one to bury her. And he opened the door and fled.

А Езавел - кучетата ще я изядат в градския край на Езраел и няма да има кой да я погребе. И като отвори вратата, побегна.

11 ¶ Then Jehu came forth to the slaves of his lord, and one said unto him, Is there peace? Why did this mad fellow come to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man and his communication.

Тогава Ииуй излезе при слугите на господаря си и един от тях му каза: Всичко наред ли е? Защо е дошъл този луд при теб? А той им отговори: Вие знаете човека и това, което каза.

12 A nd they said, We know not; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus he spoke unto me, saying, Thus hath the LORD said, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

А те казаха: Не е вярно; я ни кажи. Той отвърна: Така и така ми говорѝ: Така казва Господ: Помазах те за цар над Израел.

13 T hen they hastened, and each man took his garment, and put it under him in a high throne, and blew the shofar, saying, Jehu is king.

Тогава побързаха и като взеха всеки дрехата си, сложиха ги под Ииуй на върха на стълбата, засвириха с тръба и казаха: Ииуй се възцари. Ииуй убива цар Йорам

14 S o Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram. (Now Joram was keeping Ramothgilead, with all Israel, because of Hazael, king of Syria.

Така Ииуй, син на Йосафат, Намесиевия син, организира заговор против Йорам. (А Йорам с целия Израел пазеше Рамот-галаад от сирийския цар Азаил;

15 B ut King Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael, king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it is your desire, then do not let anyone go forth nor escape out of the city to tell the news in Jezreel.

цар Йорам се беше върнал в Езраел, за да се лекува от раните, които сирийците му бяха нанесли, когато воюваше против сирийския цар Азаил.) Ииуй каза: Ако това е вашето мнение, то да не излезе никой да побегне от града, за да отиде и извести това в Езраел.

16 ¶ So Jehu rode and went to Jezreel, for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah, king of Judah, was come down to see Joram.

Тогава Ииуй се качи на колесницата и отиде в Езраел, защото Йорам лежеше там. А Юдейският цар Охозия беше слязъл да види Йорам.

17 A nd the watchman, who stood in the tower of Jezreel, spied the company of Jehu as he came and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take a horseman and send to meet them and let him say unto them, Is there peace?

Стражът, който стоеше на кулата в Езраел, когато съгледа наближаващата дружина на Ииуй, каза: Виждам една дружина. Йорам заповяда: Вземи конник и прати да ги посрещне; и нека каже: С мир ли идваш ?

18 S o one on horseback went to meet him and said, Thus saith the king, Is there peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? Turn behind me. And the watchman gave notice, saying, The messenger came to them, but he does not return.

И така, отиде конник да го посрещне и каза: Така казва царят: С мир ли идваш ? Ииуй отговори: Какво имаш ти с мира? Обърни се и иди зад мен. И стражът извести: Пратеникът стигна до тях, но не се връща.

19 T hen he sent out another on horseback, who came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is there peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? Turn behind me.

Тогава Йорам изпрати втори конник, който отиде при тях и каза: Така казва царят: С мир ли идваш ? А Ииуй отговори: Какво имаш ти с мира? Обърни се и иди зад мен.

20 A nd the watchman gave notice again, saying, He also came unto them and does not return, and the pace of him who is coming is like the pace of Jehu, the son of Nimshi, for he comes impetuously.

И стражът извести: Стигна до тях, но и той не се връща; а карането прилича на карането на Ииуй, Намесиевия син, защото кара като луд.

21 A nd Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram, king of Israel, and Ahaziah, king of Judah, went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu and found him in the portion of Naboth of Jezreel.

Тогава Йорам каза: Впрегнете. И впрегнаха колесницата му. И Израелевият цар Йорам и Юдейският цар Охозия излязоха, всеки в колесницата си, отидоха да посрещнат Ииуй и го намериха в нивата на езраелеца Навутей.

22 A nd when Joram saw Jehu, he said, Is there peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the fornications of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

Йорам, като видя Ииуй, попита: С мир ли идваш, Ииуй? А той отговори: Какъв мир, докато са толкова много блудствата и магьосничествата на майка ти Езавел?

23 T hen Joram turned his hands and fled and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.

Тогава Йорам обърна юзда и побегна, като казваше на Охозия: Предателство, Охозия!

24 B ut Jehu drew his bow with his full strength and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

А Ииуй дръпна лъка си с пълна сила и улучи Йорам между плещите му така, че стрелата прониза сърцето му и той се прегърби в колесницата си.

25 T hen said Jehu to Bidkar, his captain, Take him and cast him in the edge of the portion of the field of Naboth of Jezreel. Remember that when thou and I went together after Ahab, his father, the LORD pronounced this sentence upon him, saying,

Тогава Ииуй каза на военачалника си Видкар: Вземи и го хвърли в онази част от нивата, която принадлежи на езраелеца Навутей; защото си спомнѝ, че когато аз и ти яздехме след баща му Ахаав, Господ произнесе против него това пророчество:

26 S urely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, said the LORD, and I will requite thee in this portion, said the LORD. Now, therefore, take and cast him into the portion, according to the word of the LORD.

Не видях ли вчера кръвта на Навутей и кръвта на синовете му, казва Господ? И в тази част от нивата ще ти въздам, казва Господ. И сега го вдигни и го хвърли в тази част според Господнето слово. Убийството на юдейския цар Охозия

27 B ut when Ahaziah, the king of Judah, saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the ascent to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo and died there.

А Юдейският цар Охозия, като видя това, побегна през пътя на градинската къща. Ииуй се спусна след него и каза: Поразете и този в колесницата. И го поразиха в нагорнището на Гур, близо до Ивлеам; Охозия избяга в Магедон и умря там.

28 A nd his slaves carried him to Jerusalem and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of David.

Слугите му го докараха на колесница в Йерусалим, погребаха го в гроба му с бащите му в Давидовия град.

29 I n the eleventh year of Joram, the son of Ahab, Ahaziah began to reign over Judah.

А Охозия се беше възцарил над Юдея в единадесетата година на Йорам, Ахаавовия син. Избиване на дома на Ахаав

30 ¶ And Jehu came to Jezreel, and when Jezebel heard of it, she painted her face and tired her head and looked out of a window.

Така Ииуй дойде в Езраел. Езавел, като чу, начерни клепачите на очите си, накити главата си и надникна през прозореца.

31 A nd as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?

И докато Ииуй влизаше през портата, тя попита: С мир ли идваш, ти, Зимриевецо, убиецо на господаря си?

32 A nd he lifted up his face to the window and said, Who is on my side? Who? And two or three eunuchs looked at him.

А той вдигна лицето си към прозореца и извика: Кой е на моя страна? Кой? И към него погледнаха двама-трима евнуха.

33 A nd he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down, and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses; and he trode her under foot.

Ииуй заповяда: Хвърлете я долу. И те я хвърлиха долу; и пръсна от кръвта ѝ по стените и по конете; и той я сгази.

34 A nd he entered in, and after he ate and drank, he said, Go, see now this cursed woman and bury her; for after all she is a king’s daughter.

Ииуй влезе и яде, и пи. След това каза: Идете сега и вижте тази проклетница и я погребете, защото е царска дъщеря.

35 B ut when they went to bury her, they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands.

Тогава отидоха да я погребат, но не намериха нищо от тялото ѝ освен черепа, краката и дланите на ръцете.

36 A nd they returned and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his slave Elijah, the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel.

И когато се върнаха и му съобщиха това, той каза: Това е словото, което Господ говорѝ чрез слугата Си, тесвиеца Илия: В градския край на Езраел кучетата ще ядат месата на Езавел;

37 A nd the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel so that no one shall be able to say, This is Jezebel.

и трупът на Езавел в градския край на Езраел ще бъде като гной по лицето на полето, така че няма да кажат: Това е Езавел.
