1 ¶ Now these are the priests and the Levites that came up with Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel and with Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2 A mariah, Malluch, Hattush,

3 S hechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,

4 I ddo, Ginnetho, Abijah,

Идо, Ганатон, Авия,

5 M iamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

6 S hemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah,

7 S allu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the princes of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

Салу, Амок, Хелкия и Едайя. Тези бяха началниците на свещениците и на братята им в дните на Исус.

8 A nd the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who with his brethren officiated in the songs of praise.

А левитите: Исус, Вануй, Кадмиил, Серевия, Юда и Матания, който заедно с братята си беше над пеенето.

9 A lso Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were before them in the watches.

А Ваквукия и Уний, братята им, бяха срещу тях в стражите.

10 A nd Jeshua begat Joiakim, Joiakim begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

11 J oiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.

12 A nd in the days of Joiakim the priests, the heads of the families were of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

А в дните на Йоаким свещениците, които бяха и началници на бащини домове, бяха: началник на бащиния дом на Серайя - Мерайя; на Йеремия - Анания;

13 o f Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

на Ездра - Месулам; на Амария - Йоанан;

14 o f Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15 o f Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16 o f Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

17 o f Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;

21 o f Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.

22 T he Levites in the days of Eliashib, of Joiada and of Johanan and of Jaddua, were recorded as heads of families; also the priests, until the reign of Darius, the Persian.

В дните на Елиасив, Йодай, Йоанан и Ядуя левитите бяха записани за началници на бащини домове; също и свещениците през царуването на персиеца Дарий.

23 T he sons of Levi, heads of families, were written in the book of the chronicles, until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

Левитите, които бяха началници на бащини домове, бяха записани в Книгата на летописите, дори до дните на Йоанан, Елиасивовия син.

24 T he heads of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, and their brethren before them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the statute of David, the man of God, keeping each one their ward.

А началниците на левитите бяха: Асавия, Серевия и Исус, Кадмииловият син, с братята им срещу тях, назначени да хвалят и песнословят според заповедта на Божия човек Давид, ответно едни срещу други.

25 M attaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.

Матания, Ваквукия, Авдий, Месулам, Талмон и Акув бяха вратари и пазеха стражата на складовете при портите.

26 T hese were in the days of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the captain, and of Ezra, the priest and scribe.

Тези бяха в дните на Йоаким, син на Исус, син на Йоседек, и в дните на областния управител Неемия, и на свещеника Ездра, книжника. Освещаване на градската стена на Йерусалим

27 ¶ And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgiving and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

И при освещаването на йерусалимската стена потърсиха левитите по всичките им места, за да ги доведат в Йерусалим да празнуват освещението с веселие, със славословия и песни, с кимвали, псалтири и арфи.

28 A nd the sons of the singers were gathered together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem and from the villages of Netophathi;

И така, дружните певци се събраха - както от йерусалимската околност, така и от нетофатските села,

29 a lso from the house of Gilgal and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves villages round about Jerusalem.

от Вет-галгал и от селата на Гава и Азмавет; защото певците си бяха съградили села около Йерусалим.

30 A nd the priests and the Levites purified themselves and purified the people and the gates and the wall.

А свещениците и левитите, като очистиха себе си, очистиха и народа, портите и стената.

31 T hen I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall and appointed two great choirs which went in procession, one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate.

Тогава изкачих Юдейските началници на стената и определих два големи хора хвалители: единият отиваше в шествие надясно върху стената, към портата на бунището;

32 A nd after them went Hoshaiah and half of the princes of Judah,

и след тях вървяха Осайя и половината от Юдейските първенци,

33 a nd Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,

и Азария, Ездра, Меулам,

34 J udah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;

Юда, Вениамин, Семая и Йеремия,

35 a nd certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets: namely, Zechariah, the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;

и някои от синовете на свещениците с тръби: Захария, син на Йонатан, син на Семая, син на Матания, син на Михей, син на Закхур, син на Асаф,

36 a nd his brethren, Shemaiah, Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, Judah, and Hanani, with the musical instruments of David, the man of God, and Ezra, the scribe, before them.

и братята му: Семая, Азареил, Милалай, Гилалай, Маай, Натанаил, Юда и Ананий, с музикалните инструменти на Божия човек Давид; и книжникът Ездра им беше начело.

37 A nd at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, from the house of David unto the water gate eastward.

При портата на извора те се изкачиха направо пред себе си по стъпалата на Давидовия град, където стената се възвисява над Давидовата къща, чак до портата на водата към изток.

38 A nd the second choir went over against them, and I after them with half of the people upon the wall, from the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall,

А другият хор хвалители вървеше в противоположна посока, и аз след тях, също и половината от народа, по стената, край кулата на пещите и по широката стена,

39 a nd from the gate of Ephraim, to the old gate, and to the fish gate, to the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, unto the sheep gate; and they stood still in the gate of the guards.

и над Ефремовата порта, и над старата порта, и над рибната порта, и край кулата Ананеил, и край кулата Мея, до овчата порта, докато застанаха в портата на стражата.

40 T hen the two choirs stood in the house of God, and I and half of the rulers with me;

Така двете отделения хвалители застанаха в Божия дом; и аз и половината от видните мъже с мен,

41 a nd the priests: Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

и свещениците Елиаким, Маасия, Миниамин, Михей, Елиоинай, Захария и Анания, с тръби,

42 a nd Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

както и Маасия, Семая, Елеазар, Озий, Йоанан, Малхия, Елам и Езер. И певците запяха със силен глас, с Езрайя за водител.

43 A lso that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women also and the children rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

И в същия ден принесоха големи жертви и се развеселиха, защото Бог ги развесели много; още жените и децата се развеселиха; така че увеселението на Йерусалим се разчу надалеч.

44 ¶ And at that time men were appointed over the chambers of the treasures, of the offerings, of the firstfruits, and of the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the legal portions for the priests and the Levites; for the joy of Judah was upon the priests and the Levites that served.

В същия ден бяха определени и хора над стаите за складове, за приносите, за първите плодове и за десятъците, за да събират в тях от полетата на градовете дяловете, узаконени за свещениците и левитите; защото Юдея се радваше поради свещениците и левитите, които служеха.

45 A nd they kept the ward of their God and the ward of the purification, and the singers and the porters, according to the statute of David and of Solomon, his son.

Защото те и певците, и вратарите пазеха заръчаното от Бога си и заръчаното за очистването според заповедта на Давид и сина му Соломон.

46 F or from the time of David and Asaph of old there were princes of the singers, and songs and praise and thanksgiving unto God.

Защото отдавна, в дните на Давид и Асаф, имаше главни певци и пеения за хвала и благодарение на Бога.

47 A nd all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, each thing in its day; and they sanctified them unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the sons of Aaron.

И в дните на Зоровавел, и в дните на Неемия целият Израел даваха определените за всеки ден дялове на певците и на вратарите; те посвещаваха даровете си на левитите, а левитите посвещаваха на Аароновите потомци.
