1 ¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

Не на нас, Господи, не на нас, а на Своето име въздай слава заради милостта Си и заради верността Си.

2 W hy should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

Защо да кажат народите: Къде е сега техният Бог?

3 B ut our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

Нашият Бог е на небето; прави всичко, което Му е угодно.

4 T heir idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Техните идоли са сребро и злато, творение на човешките ръце.

5 T hey have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

Уста имат, но не говорят; очи имат, но не виждат;

6 T hey have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

уши имат, но не чуват; ноздри имат, но не миришат;

7 t hey have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

ръце имат, но не докосват; крака имат, но не ходят; нито издават глас от гърлото си.

8 L et those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

Подобни на тях ще станат онези, които ги правят, както и всеки, който уповава на тях.

9 ¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Израелю, уповавай на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Доме Ааронов, уповавайте на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.

11 Y e that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Вие, които се боите от Господа, уповавайте на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.

12 T he LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

Господ си спомни за нас; ще ни благослови; ще благослови Израелевия дом; ще благослови Аароновия дом.

13 H e will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

Ще благослови онези, които се боят от Господа - и малки, и големи.

14 T he LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

Дано Господ ви умножава все повече и повече - вас и децата ви.

15 Y e are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

Благословени сте вие от Господа, Който е направил небето и земята.

16 T he heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

Небесата са небеса на Господа; а земята Той даде на човешките синове.

17 T he dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

Мъртвите не хвалят Господа, нито онези, които слизат в мястото на мълчанието;

18 B ut we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.

но ние ще благославяме Господа отсега и довека. Алилуя.
