1 ¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

(113-9) Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему дай славу, ради милости Твоей, ради истины Твоей.

2 W hy should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

(113-10) Для чего язычникам говорить: 'где же Бог их'?

3 B ut our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

(113-11) Бог наш на небесах; творит все, что хочет.

4 T heir idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

(113-12) А их идолы--серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих.

5 T hey have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

(113-13) Есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят;

6 T hey have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

(113-14) есть у них уши, но не слышат; есть у них ноздри, но не обоняют;

7 t hey have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

(113-15) есть у них руки, но не осязают; есть у них ноги, но не ходят; и они не издают голоса гортанью своею.

8 L et those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

(113-16) Подобны им да будут делающие их и все, надеющиеся на них.

9 ¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

(113-17) Израилев! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

(113-18) Дом Ааронов! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

11 Y e that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

(113-19) Боящиеся Господа! уповайте на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

12 T he LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

(113-20) Господь помнит нас, благословляет, благословляет дом Израилев, благословляет дом Ааронов;

13 H e will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

(113-21) благословляет боящихся Господа, малых с великими.

14 T he LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

(113-22) Да приложит вам Господь более и более, вам и детям вашим.

15 Y e are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

(113-23) Благословенны вы Господом, сотворившим небо и землю.

16 T he heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

(113-24) Небо--небо Господу, а землю Он дал сынам человеческим.

17 T he dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

(113-25) Ни мертвые восхвалят Господа, ни все нисходящие в могилу;

18 B ut we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.

(113-26) но мы будем благословлять Господа отныне и вовек. Аллилуия.
