1 ¶ Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me, for I am poor and needy.

(85-1) ^^Молитва Давида.^^ Приклони, Господи, ухо Твое и услышь меня, ибо я беден и нищ.

2 P reserve my soul; for I am merciful, O thou my God, save thy slave that trusts in thee.

(85-2) Сохрани душу мою, ибо я благоговею пред Тобою; спаси, Боже мой, раба Твоего, уповающего на Тебя.

3 B e merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry unto thee daily.

(85-3) Помилуй меня, Господи, ибо к Тебе взываю каждый день.

4 R ejoice the soul of thy slave, for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

(85-4) Возвесели душу раба Твоего, ибо к Тебе, Господи, возношу душу мою,

5 F or thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive and plenteous in mercy unto all those that call upon thee.

(85-5) ибо Ты, Господи, благ и милосерд и многомилостив ко всем, призывающим Тебя.

6 G ive ear, O LORD, unto my prayer and attend to the voice of my supplications.

(85-6) Услышь, Господи, молитву мою и внемли гласу моления моего.

7 I n the day of my trouble I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.

(85-7) В день скорби моей взываю к Тебе, потому что Ты услышишь меня.

8 ¶ Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord, neither is there any other who does thy works.

(85-8) Нет между богами, как Ты, Господи, и нет дел, как Твои.

9 A ll the Gentiles whom thou hast made shall come and humble themselves before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

(85-9) Все народы, Тобою сотворенные, приидут и поклонятся пред Тобою, Господи, и прославят имя Твое,

10 F or thou art great and doest wondrous things; thou alone art God.

(85-10) ибо Ты велик и творишь чудеса, --Ты, Боже, един Ты.

11 T each me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth; firm up my heart that I might fear thy name.

(85-11) Наставь меня, Господи, на путь Твой, и буду ходить в истине Твоей; утверди сердце мое в страхе имени Твоего.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

(85-12) Буду восхвалять Тебя, Господи, Боже мой, всем сердцем моим и славить имя Твое вечно,

13 F or great is thy mercy upon me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest part of Sheol.

(85-13) ибо велика милость Твоя ко мне: Ты избавил душу мою от ада преисподнего.

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul and have not set thee before them.

(85-14) Боже! гордые восстали на меня, и скопище мятежников ищет души моей: не представляют они Тебя пред собою.

15 B ut thou, O Lord, art a merciful and gracious God, longsuffering and plenteous in mercy and truth.

(85-15) Но Ты, Господи, Боже щедрый и благосердный, долготерпеливый и многомилостивый и истинный,

16 O look into me and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy slave and keep the son of thine handmaid.

(85-16) призри на меня и помилуй меня; даруй крепость Твою рабу Твоему, и спаси сына рабы Твоей;

17 S how me a token for good that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed because thou, O LORD, hast helped me and comforted me.

(85-17) покажи на мне знамение во благо, да видят ненавидящие меня и устыдятся, потому что Ты, Господи, помог мне и утешил меня.
