1 ¶ Justified therefore by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus, the Christ,

Итак, оправдавшись верою, мы имеем мир с Богом через Господа нашего Иисуса Христа,

2 b y whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and glory in hope of the glory of the sons of God.

через Которого верою и получили мы доступ к той благодати, в которой стоим и хвалимся надеждою славы Божией.

3 A nd not only this, but we even glory in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works patience;

И не сим только, но хвалимся и скорбями, зная, что от скорби происходит терпение,

4 a nd patience, experience; and experience, hope;

от терпения опытность, от опытности надежда,

5 a nd the hope shall not be ashamed, because the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.

а надежда не постыжает, потому что любовь Божия излилась в сердца наши Духом Святым, данным нам.

6 ¶ For the Christ, when we were yet weak, in his time died for the ungodly.

Ибо Христос, когда еще мы были немощны, в определенное время умер за нечестивых.

7 F or scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Ибо едва ли кто умрет за праведника; разве за благодетеля, может быть, кто и решится умереть.

8 B ut God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.

Но Бог Свою любовь к нам доказывает тем, что Христос умер за нас, когда мы были еще грешниками.

9 T hen much more now justified in his blood, we shall be saved from wrath by him.

Посему тем более ныне, будучи оправданы Кровию Его, спасемся Им от гнева.

10 F or if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled with God by the death of his Son, much more, now reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Ибо если, будучи врагами, мы примирились с Богом смертью Сына Его, то тем более, примирившись, спасемся жизнью Его.

11 A nd not only this, but we even glory in God through our Lord Jesus, the Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.

И не довольно сего, но и хвалимся Богом чрез Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, посредством Которого мы получили ныне примирение.

12 T herefore, in the manner which sin entered into the world by one man, and because of sin, death; and so death passed upon all men in the one in whom all sinned.

Посему, как одним человеком грех вошел в мир, и грехом смерть, так и смерть перешла во всех человеков, в нем все согрешили.

13 F or until the law, sin was in the world; but the sin was not imputed, there being no law.

Ибо до закона грех был в мире; но грех не вменяется, когда нет закона.

14 N evertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even in those that did not sin after the manner of the rebellion of Adam, who is a figure of him that was to come.

Однако же смерть царствовала от Адама до Моисея и над несогрешившими подобно преступлению Адама, который есть образ будущего.

15 B ut not as the offense, so also is the gift. For if through the offense of that one many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one man, Jesus the Christ, has abounded unto many.

Но дар благодати не как преступление. Ибо если преступлением одного подверглись смерти многие, то тем более благодать Божия и дар по благодати одного Человека, Иисуса Христа, преизбыточествуют для многих.

16 N or was it in the same manner as by one sin, likewise also the gift; for the judgment truly came of one sin unto condemnation, but grace came of many offenses unto justification.

И дар не как за одного согрешившего; ибо суд за одно --к осуждению; а дар благодати--к оправданию от многих преступлений.

17 F or if by one offense, death reigned because of one man; much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of gifts and of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus the Christ.

Ибо если преступлением одного смерть царствовала посредством одного, то тем более приемлющие обилие благодати и дар праведности будут царствовать в жизни посредством единого Иисуса Христа.

18 T herefore, in the same manner that by the iniquity of one guilt came upon all men unto condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one, grace came upon all men unto justification of life.

Посему, как преступлением одного всем человекам осуждение, так правдою одного всем человекам оправдание к жизни.

19 F or as by one man’s disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Ибо, как непослушанием одного человека сделались многие грешными, так и послушанием одного сделаются праведными многие.

20 M oreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound,

Закон же пришел после, и таким образом умножилось преступление. А когда умножился грех, стала преизобиловать благодать,

21 s o that in the same manner as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus, the Christ, our Lord.

дабы, как грех царствовал к смерти, так и благодать воцарилась через праведность к жизни вечной Иисусом Христом, Господом нашим.
