1 ¶ When he was come down from the mountain, many people followed him.

Когда же сошел Он с горы, за Ним последовало множество народа.

2 A nd, behold, a leper came and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou art willing, thou art able to cleanse me.

И вот подошел прокаженный и, кланяясь Ему, сказал: Господи! если хочешь, можешь меня очистить.

3 A nd Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Иисус, простерши руку, коснулся его и сказал: хочу, очистись. И он тотчас очистился от проказы.

4 T hen Jesus said unto him, See thou tell no one; but go, show thyself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

И говорит ему Иисус: смотри, никому не сказывай, но пойди, покажи себя священнику и принеси дар, какой повелел Моисей, во свидетельство им.

5 ¶ And when Jesus was entering into Capernaum, a centurion came unto him, beseeching him,

Когда же вошел Иисус в Капернаум, к Нему подошел сотник и просил Его:

6 a nd saying, Lord, my servant lies at home paralyzed, grievously tormented.

Господи! слуга мой лежит дома в расслаблении и жестоко страдает.

7 A nd Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him.

Иисус говорит ему: Я приду и исцелю его.

8 T he centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou should come under my roof; but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Сотник же, отвечая, сказал: Господи! я недостоин, чтобы Ты вошел под кров мой, но скажи только слово, и выздоровеет слуга мой;

9 F or I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me; and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.

ибо я и подвластный человек, но, имея у себя в подчинении воинов, говорю одному: пойди, и идет; и другому: приди, и приходит; и слуге моему: сделай то, и делает.

10 W hen Jesus heard it, he marvelled and said to those that followed, Verily I say unto you that not even in Israel have I found such faith.

Услышав сие, Иисус удивился и сказал идущим за Ним: истинно говорю вам, и в Израиле не нашел Я такой веры.

11 B ut I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down at the table with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.

Говорю же вам, что многие придут с востока и запада и возлягут с Авраамом, Исааком и Иаковом в Царстве Небесном;

12 B ut the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

а сыны царства извержены будут во тьму внешнюю: там будет плач и скрежет зубов.

13 T hen Jesus said unto the centurion, Go, and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in that same hour.

И сказал Иисус сотнику: иди, и, как ты веровал, да будет тебе. И выздоровел слуга его в тот час.

14 ¶ And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying in bed and with fever.

Придя в дом Петров, Иисус увидел тещу его, лежащую в горячке,

15 A nd he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose and ministered unto them.

и коснулся руки ее, и горячка оставила ее; и она встала и служила им.

16 W hen evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils, and he cast out the spirits with the word and healed all that were sick

Когда же настал вечер, к Нему привели многих бесноватых, и Он изгнал духов словом и исцелил всех больных,

17 t hat it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.

да сбудется реченное через пророка Исаию, который говорит: Он взял на Себя наши немощи и понес болезни.

18 ¶ Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he commanded that they depart unto the other side.

Увидев же Иисус вокруг Себя множество народа, велел (ученикам) отплыть на другую сторону.

19 A nd a certain scribe came and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee wherever thou goest.

Тогда один книжник, подойдя, сказал Ему: Учитель! я пойду за Тобою, куда бы Ты ни пошел.

20 A nd Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.

И говорит ему Иисус: лисицы имеют норы и птицы небесные--гнезда, а Сын Человеческий не имеет, где приклонить голову.

21 A nd another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Другой же из учеников Его сказал Ему: Господи! позволь мне прежде пойти и похоронить отца моего.

22 B ut Jesus said unto him, Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.

Но Иисус сказал ему: иди за Мною, и предоставь мертвым погребать своих мертвецов.

23 ¶ And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

И когда вошел Он в лодку, за Ним последовали ученики Его.

24 A nd, behold, there arose a great moving in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.

И вот, сделалось великое волнение на море, так что лодка покрывалась волнами; а Он спал.

25 A nd his disciples came to him and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us; we perish.

Тогда ученики Его, подойдя к Нему, разбудили Его и сказали: Господи! спаси нас, погибаем.

26 A nd he said unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, awake, he rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

И говорит им: что вы боязливы, маловерные? Потом, встав, запретил ветрам и морю, и сделалась великая тишина.

27 B ut the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Люди же, удивляясь, говорили: кто это, что и ветры и море повинуются Ему?

28 ¶ And when he was come to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

И когда Он прибыл на другой берег в страну Гергесинскую, Его встретили два бесноватые, вышедшие из гробов, весьма свирепые, так что никто не смел проходить тем путем.

29 A nd, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come here to torment us before the time?

И вот, они закричали: что Тебе до нас, Иисус, Сын Божий? пришел Ты сюда прежде времени мучить нас.

30 A nd there was a good way off from them a herd of many swine feeding.

Вдали же от них паслось большое стадо свиней.

31 S o the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

И бесы просили Его: если выгонишь нас, то пошли нас в стадо свиней.

32 A nd he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine; and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea and perished in the waters.

И Он сказал им: идите. И они, выйдя, пошли в стадо свиное. И вот, всё стадо свиней бросилось с крутизны в море и погибло в воде.

33 A nd those that fed them fled and went into the city and told everything and what was befallen to the ones possessed of the demons.

Пастухи же побежали и, придя в город, рассказали обо всем, и о том, что было с бесноватыми.

34 A nd, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their borders.

И вот, весь город вышел навстречу Иисусу; и, увидев Его, просили, чтобы Он отошел от пределов их.
