1 ¶ This then was the lot of the tribe of the sons of Judah by their families: next to the border of Edom, of the wilderness of Zin towards the Negev on the south side.

Жребий колену сынов Иудиных, по племенам их, выпал такой: в смежности с Идумеею была пустыня Син, к югу, при конце Фемана;

2 A nd their border on the side of the Negev was from the shore of the salt sea from the bay that looks toward the Negev;

южным пределом их был край моря Соленого от простирающегося к югу залива;

3 a nd it went out towards the Negev to the ascent to Acrabbim passing unto Zin and ascending up by the Negev unto Kadeshbarnea past Hezron and going up by Adar, it went around to Karkaa,

на юге идет он к возвышенности Акраввимской, проходит Цин и, восходя с южной стороны к Кадес-Варне, проходит Хецрон и, восходя до Аддара, поворачивает к Каркае,

4 f rom there it passed toward Azmon and went out unto the river of Egypt, and this border goes out to the western sea. This shall be your border of the Negev.

потом проходит Ацмон, идет к потоку Египетскому, так что конец сего предела есть море. Сей будет южный ваш предел.

5 A nd the east border is the salt sea, even unto the end of the Jordan. And the border in the north quarter, from the bay of the sea, from the end of the Jordan,

Пределом же к востоку море Соленое, до устья Иордана; а предел с северной стороны от залива моря, от устья Иордана;

6 a nd this border goes up to Bethhogla and passes along by the north of Betharabah, and from here this border goes up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben.

отсюда предел восходит к Беф-Хогле и проходит с северной стороны к Беф-Араве, и идет предел вверх до камня Богана, сына Рувимова;

7 A nd this border goes back up to Debir from the valley of Achor and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the ascent to Adummim, which is towards the Negev of the river, and this border passes the waters of Enshemesh and comes out at the fount of Rogel;

потом восходит предел к Давиру от долины Ахор и на севере поворачивает к Галгалу, который против возвышенности Адуммима, лежащего с южной стороны потока; отсюда предел проходит к водам Ен-Шемеша и оканчивается у Ен-Рогела;

8 a nd this border goes up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the side of the Jebusite towards the Negev; this is Jerusalem. Then this border goes up to the top of the mountain that is before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward;

отсюда предел идет вверх к долине сына Енномова с южной стороны Иевуса, который Иерусалим, и восходит предел на вершину горы, которая к западу против долины Енномовой, которая на краю долины Рефаимов к северу;

9 a nd this border comes around from the top of the mountain unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah and goes out to the cities of Mount Ephron; and the border goes around to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim.

от вершины горы предел поворачивает к источнику вод Нефтоах и идет к городам горы Ефрона, и поворачивает предел к Ваалу, который Кириаф-Иарим;

10 A fter this, the border turns from Baalah westward unto Mount Seir and passes to the side of Mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and descends to Bethshemesh and passes on to Timnah.

потом поворачивает предел от Ваала к морю к горе Сеиру, и идет северною стороною горы Иеарим, которая Кесалон, и, нисходя к Вефсамису, проходит чрез Фимну;

11 T hen this border goes out to the side of Ekron northward; and the same border comes around to Shicron and passes by Mount Baalah and goes out to Jabneel; and this border comes out to the sea.

отсюда предел идет северною стороною Екрона, и поворачивает предел к Шикарону, проходит чрез гору Ваал и доходит до Иавнеила, и оканчивается предел у моря. Западный предел составляет великое море.

12 A nd the west border is the great sea. This is the border of the sons of Judah round about according to their families.

Вот предел сынов Иудиных с племенами их со всех сторон.

13 ¶ And unto Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he gave a part among the sons of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba, the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

И Халеву, сыну Иефонниину, дал часть среди сынов Иудиных, как повелел Господь Иисусу; Кириаф-Арбы, отца Енакова, иначе Хеврон.

14 A nd Caleb drove from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the sons of Anak.

И выгнал оттуда Халев трех сынов Енаковых: Шешая, Ахимана и Фалмая, детей Енаковых.

15 F rom there he went up to the inhabitants of Debir, and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.

Отсюда пошел против жителей Давира (имя Давиру прежде Кириаф-Сефер).

16 A nd Caleb said, He that smites Kirjathsepher and takes it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

И сказал Халев: кто поразит Кириаф-Сефер и возьмет его, тому отдам Ахсу, дочь мою, в жену.

17 A nd Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

И взял его Гофониил, сын Кеназа, брата Халевова, и отдал он в жену ему Ахсу, дочь свою.

18 A nd it came to pass when he was taking her, he persuaded her to ask of her father for land to cultivate. Then she lighted off her ass, and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

Когда надлежало ей идти, ее научили просить у отца ее поле, и она сошла с осла. Халев сказал ей: что тебе?

19 A nd she answered, Give me a blessing, for thou hast given me a dry land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

Она сказала: дай мне благословение; ты дал мне землю полуденную, дай мне и источники вод. И дал он ей источники верхние и источники нижние.

20 ¶ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah according to their families.

Вот удел колена сынов Иудиных, по племенам их:

21 A nd these were the cities in the border of the tribe of the sons of Judah towards the border of Edom towards the Negev: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

города с края колена сынов Иудиных в смежности с Идумеею на юге были: Кавцеил, Едер и Иагур,

22 K inah, Dimonah, Adadah,

Кина, Димона, Адада,

23 K edesh, Hazor, Ithnan,

Кедес, Асор и Ифнан,

24 Z iph, Telem, Bealoth,

Зиф, Телем и Валоф,

25 H azorhadattah, Keriothhezron, which is Hazor,

Гацор-Хадафа, Кириаф, Хецрон, иначе Гацор,

26 A mam, Shema, Moladah,

47 A shdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt and the great sea and the border thereof;

Азот, зависящие от него города и села его, Газа, зависящие от нее города и села ее, до самого потока Египетского и великого моря, которое предел.

48 A nd in the mountains, Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,

На горах: Шамир, Иаттир и Сохо,

49 D annah, Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,

Данна, Кириаф-Санна, иначе Давир,

50 A nab, Eshtemoh, Anim,

Анаф, Ештемо и Аним,

51 G oshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages;

Гошен, Холон и Гило: одиннадцать городов с их селами.

61 i n the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, Secacah,

В пустыне: Беф-Арава, Миддин и Секаха,

62 N ibshan, the city of Salt, and Engedi: six cities with their villages.

Нившан, Ир-Мелах и Ен-Геди: шесть городов с их селами.

63 A s for the Jebusites who inhabit Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusite remains in Jerusalem with the sons of Judah unto this day.

Но Иевусеев, жителей Иерусалима, не могли изгнать сыны Иудины, и потому Иевусеи живут с сынами Иуды в Иерусалиме даже до сего дня.
