1 ¶ Now it came to pass at thirty years, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

И было в тридцатый год, в четвертый, в пятый месяца, когда я находился среди переселенцев при реке Ховаре, отверзлись небеса, и я видел видения Божии.

2 I n the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity,

В пятый месяца (это был пятый год от пленения царя Иоакима),

3 t he word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and there the hand of the LORD came upon him.

было слово Господне к Иезекиилю, сыну Вузия, священнику, в земле Халдейской, при реке Ховаре; и была на нем там рука Господня.

4 ¶ And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, and a great cloud, and a fire enfolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

И я видел, и вот, бурный ветер шел от севера, великое облако и клубящийся огонь, и сияние вокруг него,

5 A lso out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of man.

а из средины его как бы свет пламени из средины огня; и из средины его видно было подобие четырех животных, --и таков был вид их: облик их был, как у человека;

6 A nd each one had four faces, and four wings.

и у каждого четыре лица, и у каждого из них четыре крыла;

7 A nd their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot; and they sparkled like the colour of highly burnished brass.

а ноги их--ноги прямые, и ступни ног их--как ступня ноги у тельца, и сверкали, как блестящая медь.

8 A nd they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and their faces and their wings on all four sides.

И руки человеческие были под крыльями их, на четырех сторонах их;

9 W ith their wings they joined one to another; they did not return when they went; they went each one straight in the direction they were facing.

и лица у них и крылья у них--у всех четырех; крылья их соприкасались одно к другому; во время шествия своего они не оборачивались, а шли каждое по направлению лица своего.

10 A nd the likeness of their faces was human faces; and lion faces, on the right side; and they four had ox faces on the left side; likewise they four had eagle faces.

Подобие лиц их--лице человека и лице льва с правой стороны у всех их четырех; а с левой стороны лице тельца у всех четырех и лице орла у всех четырех.

11 T hus were their faces; and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of each one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

И лица их и крылья их сверху были разделены, но у каждого два крыла соприкасались одно к другому, а два покрывали тела их.

12 A nd they went each one straight forward in the direction they were facing: wherever the Spirit directed them to go, they went; and they did not return when they went.

И шли они, каждое в ту сторону, которая пред лицем его; куда дух хотел идти, туда и шли; во время шествия своего не оборачивались.

13 A s for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire and like the appearance of lit torches; the fire went up and down among the living creatures and the brightness of the fire; and out of the fire went forth lightning.

И вид этих животных был как вид горящих углей, как вид лампад; ходил между животными, и сияние от огня и молния исходила из огня.

14 A nd the living creatures ran and turned as the appearance of lightnings.

И животные быстро двигались туда и сюда, как сверкает молния.

15 ¶ Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold a wheel upon the earth with its four rims by the living creatures.

И смотрел я на животных, и вот, на земле подле этих животных по одному колесу перед четырьмя лицами их.

16 T he appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a stone of Tarsis or beryl; and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their workmanship was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Вид колес и устроение их--как вид топаза, и подобие у всех четырех одно; и по виду их и по устроению их казалось, будто колесо находилось в колесе.

17 W hen they went, they went upon their four sides: and they did not return when they went.

Когда они шли, шли на четыре свои стороны; во время шествия не оборачивались.

18 A nd their ribs were high and dreadful, and full of eyes round about them in all four.

А ободья их--высоки и страшны были они; ободья их у всех четырех вокруг полны были глаз.

19 A nd when the living creatures went, the wheels went with them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

И когда шли животные, шли и колеса подле; а когда животные поднимались от земли, тогда поднимались и колеса.

20 W herever the spirit wished to go, they went; wherever the spirit directed them, the wheels also rose up after them: for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

Куда дух хотел идти, туда шли и они; куда бы ни пошел дух, и колеса поднимались наравне с ними, ибо дух животных в колесах.

21 W hen those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up after them: for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

Когда шли те, шли и они; и когда те стояли, стояли и они; и когда те поднимались от земли, тогда наравне с ними поднимались и колеса, ибо дух животных в колесах.

22 A nd over the heads of each living creature there appeared a heaven like a marvellous crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Над головами животных было подобие свода, как вид изумительного кристалла, простертого сверху над головами их.

23 A nd under the heaven their wings were straight, one toward the other: each one had two, and another two which covered their bodies.

А под сводом простирались крылья их прямо одно к другому, и у каждого были два крыла, которые покрывали их, у каждого два крыла покрывали тела их.

24 A nd when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, as the voice of the Almighty, when they went; the voice of the word, as the voice of an army. When they stood, they let down their wings.

И когда они шли, я слышал шум крыльев их, как бы шум многих вод, как бы глас Всемогущего, сильный шум, как бы шум в воинском стане; когда они останавливались, опускали крылья свои.

25 A nd there was heard a voice from the heaven that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

И голос был со свода, который над головами их; когда они останавливались, тогда опускали крылья свои.

26 ¶ And above the heaven that was over their heads was the figure of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the figure of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man seated upon it.

А над сводом, который над головами их, подобие престола по виду как бы из камня сапфира; а над подобием престола было как бы подобие человека вверху на нем.

27 A nd I saw something that looked like the colour of amber, that appeared to have fire round about within it, which could be seen from his loins upward; and from his loins downward, I saw what looked like fire, and it had brightness round about

И видел я как бы пылающий металл, как бы вид огня внутри него вокруг; от вида чресл его и выше и от вида чресл его и ниже я видел как бы некий огонь, и сияние вокруг него.

28 t hat looked like the bow of heaven that is in the clouds in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And I saw it and fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

В каком виде бывает радуга на облаках во время дождя, такой вид имело это сияние кругом.
