1 ¶ Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those that rise up against me.

(58-1) ^^Начальнику хора. Не погуби. Писание Давида, когда Саул послал стеречь дом его, чтобы умертвить его.^^ (58-2) Избавь меня от врагов моих, Боже мой! защити меня от восстающих на меня;

2 D eliver me from the workers of iniquity and save me from bloodthirsty men.

(58-3) избавь меня от делающих беззаконие; спаси от кровожадных,

3 F or, behold, they lie in wait for my soul; the strong are gathered against me; I am not in rebellion, nor in sin, O LORD.

(58-4) ибо вот, они подстерегают душу мою; собираются на меня сильные не за преступление мое и не за грех мой, Господи;

4 T hey run and prepare themselves when I have committed no iniquity; awake to help me and behold.

(58-5) без вины сбегаются и вооружаются; подвигнись на помощь мне и воззри.

5 T hou, therefore, O LORD God of the hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the Gentiles; be not merciful to any rebellious workers of iniquity. Selah.

(58-6) Ты, Господи, Боже сил, Боже Израилев, восстань посетить все народы, не пощади ни одного из нечестивых беззаконников:

6 T hey will return at evening; they will bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

(58-7) вечером возвращаются они, воют, как псы, и ходят вокруг города;

7 B ehold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; for who, say they, doth hear?

(58-8) вот они изрыгают хулу языком своим; в устах их мечи: 'ибо',, 'кто слышит?'

8 ¶ But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the Gentiles in derision.

(58-9) Но Ты, Господи, посмеешься над ними; Ты посрамишь все народы.

9 I will reserve his strength unto thee, for God is my defence.

(58-10) Сила--у них, но я к Тебе прибегаю, ибо Бог--заступник мой.

10 T he God of my mercy shall meet me on the way; God shall let me see my desire upon my enemies.

(58-11) Бой мой, милующий меня, предварит меня; Бог даст мне смотреть на врагов моих.

11 S lay them not lest my people forget; scatter them by thy power and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

(58-12) Не умерщвляй их, чтобы не забыл народ мой; расточи их силою Твоею и низложи их, Господи, защитник наш.

12 F or the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; they shall be subject to weakness and to a curse.

(58-13) Слово языка их есть грех уст их, да уловятся они в гордости своей за клятву и ложь, которую произносят.

13 C onsume them in wrath, consume them that they may not be and let them know that God rules in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

(58-14) Расточи их во гневе, расточи, чтобы их не было; и да познают, что Бог владычествует над Иаковом до пределов земли.

14 A nd at evening let them return and let them bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

(58-15) Пусть возвращаются вечером, воют, как псы, и ходят вокруг города;

15 L et them wander up and down for food and murmur if they are not satisfied.

(58-16) пусть бродят, чтобы найти пищу, и несытые проводят ночи.

16 B ut I will sing of thy power; I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning, for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

(58-17) А я буду воспевать силу Твою и с раннего утра провозглашать милость Твою, ибо Ты был мне защитою и убежищем в день бедствия моего.

17 U nto thee, O my strength, will I sing, for God is my defence and the God of my mercy.

(58-18) Сила моя! Тебя буду воспевать я, ибо Бог--заступник мой, Бог мой, милующий меня.
