1 ¶ Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me, for I am poor and needy.

Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y escúchame, Porque estoy afligido y menesteroso.

2 P reserve my soul; for I am merciful, O thou my God, save thy slave that trusts in thee.

Guarda mi alma, porque soy piadoso; Salva tú, oh Dios mío, a tu siervo que en ti confía.

3 B e merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry unto thee daily.

Ten misericordia de mí, oh Jehová; Porque a ti clamo todo el día.

4 R ejoice the soul of thy slave, for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Alegra el alma de tu siervo, Porque a ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

5 F or thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive and plenteous in mercy unto all those that call upon thee.

Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, Y grande en amor para con todos los que te invocan.

6 G ive ear, O LORD, unto my prayer and attend to the voice of my supplications.

Escucha, oh Jehová, mi oración, Y está atento a la voz de mis ruegos.

7 I n the day of my trouble I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.

En el día de mi angustia te invoco, Porque tú me respondes.

8 ¶ Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord, neither is there any other who does thy works.

Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, Ni obras que igualen tus obras.

9 A ll the Gentiles whom thou hast made shall come and humble themselves before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Todas las naciones que hiciste vendrán y adorarán delante de ti, Señor, Y glorificarán tu nombre.

10 F or thou art great and doest wondrous things; thou alone art God.

Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas; Sólo tú eres Dios.

11 T each me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth; firm up my heart that I might fear thy name.

Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; Afianza mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Te alabaré, oh Jehová Dios mío, con todo mi corazón, Y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

13 F or great is thy mercy upon me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest part of Sheol.

Porque tu misericordia es grande para conmigo, Y has librado mi alma de las profundidades del Seol.

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul and have not set thee before them.

Oh Dios, unos orgullosos se han levantado contra mí, Y una conspiración de violentos ha buscado mi vida, Y no te tuvieron presente.

15 B ut thou, O Lord, art a merciful and gracious God, longsuffering and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Mas tú, Señor, eres un Dios misericordioso y clemente, Lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad.

16 O look into me and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy slave and keep the son of thine handmaid.

Mírame, y ten compasión de mí; Da tu fuerza a tu siervo, Y salva al hijo de tu sierva.

17 S how me a token for good that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed because thou, O LORD, hast helped me and comforted me.

Dame una señal de benevolencia, Y véanla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; Porque tú, Jehová, me ayudaste y me consolaste.
