1 ¶ Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my supplications for the sake of thy truth; answer me for the sake of thy righteousness.

Oh Jehová, oye mi oración, escucha mis ruegos; Respóndeme por tu verdad y por tu justicia.

2 A nd enter not into judgment with thy slave; for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

Y no entres en juicio con tu siervo; Porque no se justificará delante de ti ningún ser humano.

3 F or the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has smitten my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

Porque persigue el enemigo mi alma; Ha postrado en tierra mi vida; Me ha hecho habitar en tinieblas como los muertos para siempre.

4 T herefore my spirit has become overwhelmed within me; my heart within me has become desolate.

Y mi espíritu se angustia dentro de mí; Está desolado mi corazón.

5 I remembered the days of old; I meditated on all thy works; I mused on the work of thy hands.

Recuerdo los días de antaño; Medito en todas tus obras; Reflexiono sobre las obras de tus manos.

6 I stretched forth my hands unto thee; my soul thirsted after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Extiendo mis manos hacia ti, Mi alma hacia ti como la tierra sedienta. Selah

7 ¶ Hear me speedily, O LORD; my spirit fails; hide not thy face from me lest I be like those that go down into the grave.

Respóndeme pronto, oh Jehová, porque ya me falta el aliento; No escondas de mí tu rostro, Pues sería yo semejante a los que descienden a la sepultura.

8 C ause me to hear thy mercy in the morning, for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Hazme sentir por la mañana tu misericordia, Porque en ti he confiado; Hazme saber el camino por donde debo andar, Porque hacia ti elevo mi alma.

9 D eliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I flee unto thee.

Líbrame de mis enemigos, oh Jehová; En ti me refugio.

10 T each me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Let thy good Spirit lead me into the land of uprightness.

Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque tú eres mi Dios; Tu buen espíritu me guíe por terreno llano.

11 B y thy name, O LORD, thou shalt give me life; by thy righteousness thou shalt bring my soul out of trouble.

Por tu nombre, oh Jehová, me vivificarás; Por tu justicia sacarás mi alma de la angustia.

12 A nd by thy mercy thou shalt scatter my enemies and destroy all the adversaries of my soul; for I am thy slave.

Y por tu misericordia exterminarás a mis enemigos, Y destruirás a todos los adversarios de mi alma, Porque yo soy tu siervo.
