1 ¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

No a nosotros, Señor, no a nosotros, Sino a Tu nombre da gloria, Por Tu misericordia, por Tu fidelidad.

2 W hy should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

¿Por qué han de decir las naciones: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios ?

3 B ut our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

Nuestro Dios está en los cielos; El hace lo que Le place.

4 T heir idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Los ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre.

5 T hey have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

Tienen boca, y no hablan; Tienen ojos, y no ven;

6 T hey have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

Tienen oídos, y no oyen; Tienen nariz, y no huelen;

7 t hey have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

Tienen manos, y no tocan; Tienen pies, y no caminan; No emiten sonido alguno con su garganta.

8 L et those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

Se volverán como ellos los que los hacen, Y todos los que en ellos confían.

9 ¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Oh Israel, confía en el Señor; El es tu ayuda y tu escudo.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Oh casa de Aarón, confíen ustedes en el Señor; El es su ayuda y su escudo.

11 Y e that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

Los que temen (reverencian) al Señor, confíen en el Señor; El es su ayuda y su escudo.

12 T he LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

El Señor se ha acordado de nosotros; El nos bendecirá; Bendecirá a la casa de Israel; Bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

13 H e will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

El bendecirá a los que temen al Señor, Tanto a pequeños como a grandes.

14 T he LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

El Señor los prospere, A ustedes y a sus hijos.

15 Y e are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

Benditos sean del Señor, Que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

16 T he heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

Los cielos son los cielos del Señor, Pero la tierra la ha dado a los hijos de los hombres.

17 T he dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

Los muertos no alaban al Señor, Ni ninguno de los que descienden al silencio.

18 B ut we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.
