1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor habló a Moisés:

2 S peak unto Aaron and to his sons that they abstain from the holy things of the sons of Israel and that they not profane my holy name in those things which they sanctify unto me. I am the LORD.

“Dile a Aarón y a sus hijos que tengan cuidado con las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas Me consagran, para que no profanen Mi santo nombre. Yo soy el Señor.

3 S ay unto them, Any man of all your seed among your generations that goes in unto the holy things, which the children of Israel sanctify unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence. I am the LORD.

Diles: ‘Si alguien de entre sus descendientes en todas sus generaciones, se acerca a las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas consagran al Señor, estando inmundo, esa persona será eliminada de Mi presencia. Yo soy el Señor.

4 W hatever man of the seed of Aaron who is a leper or has a running issue shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean. And whosoever touches any thing that is unclean by the dead or a man whose seed has gone out from him

Ningún varón de los descendientes de Aarón que sea leproso, o que tenga flujo, podrá comer de las cosas sagradas hasta que sea limpio. Y si alguien toca alguna cosa contaminada por un cadáver, o si un hombre tiene una emisión seminal,

5 o r the man who has touched any reptile, by which he shall be unclean, or a man of whom he shall become unclean, according to whatever uncleanness he has,

si alguien toca ciertos animales por los cuales se pueda contaminar, o a cualquier hombre que lo contamine, cualquiera que sea su inmundicia.

6 t he person who has touched any such shall be unclean until evening and shall not eat of the holy things until he has washed his flesh with water.

La persona que toque a cualquiera de éstos quedará inmunda hasta el atardecer; no comerá de las cosas sagradas a menos que haya lavado su cuerpo con agua.

7 A nd when the sun is down, he shall be clean and shall afterward eat of the holy things, because it is his bread.

Cuando el sol se ponga quedará limpio, y después comerá de las cosas sagradas, porque son su alimento.

8 T hat which dies of itself or is torn by beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith. I am the LORD.

No comerá animal que muera o sea despedazado por fieras, contaminándose por ello; Yo soy el Señor.

9 T hey shall therefore keep my ordinance lest they bear sin for it and die therefore, if they profane it. I AM he who sanctifies them.

Guardarán, pues, Mi ordenanza para que no se carguen de pecado por ello, y mueran porque la profanen. Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.

10 ¶ No stranger shall eat of the holy thing; a guest of the priest or a hired servant shall not eat of the holy thing.

Ningún extraño comerá cosa sagrada; ni huésped del sacerdote, ni jornalero comerán cosa sagrada.

11 B ut when the priest shall buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house, they shall eat of his bread.

Pero si un sacerdote compra con su dinero un esclavo como propiedad suya, éste sí puede comer de ella, y también los nacidos en su casa podrán comer de su alimento.

12 I f the priest’s daughter becomes married unto a stranger, she may not eat of that which is set apart of the holy things.

Y si la hija del sacerdote se casa con un extraño, ella no comerá de la ofrenda de las cosas sagradas.

13 B ut if the priest’s daughter becomes a widow or divorced and has no child and is returned unto her father’s house as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s bread; but no stranger shall eat thereof.

Pero si la hija del sacerdote queda viuda o se divorcia, y no tiene hijo y regresa a la casa de su padre como en su juventud, podrá comer del alimento de su padre; pero ningún extraño comerá de él.

14 A nd if a man eats of the holy thing by error, then he shall add the fifth part thereof unto it and shall give it unto the priest with the offering that he ate.

Y si un hombre come inadvertidamente cosa sagrada, entonces añadirá a ella una quinta parte y restituirá la cosa sagrada al sacerdote.

15 A nd they shall not profane the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they set apart unto the LORD,

Los sacerdotes no profanarán las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas ofrecen al Señor,

16 o r suffer them to bear the iniquity of their guilt, when they eat their holy things. For I AM he who sanctifies them.

causándoles así sufrir castigo por la culpa al comer sus cosas sagradas; porque Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.’” Animales para el Sacrificio

17 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

También el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

18 S peak unto Aaron and to his sons and unto all the sons of Israel and say unto them, Any man of the house of Israel or of the strangers in Israel that will offer his oblation for all his vows and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering,

“Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos y a todos los Israelitas: ‘Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel o de los extranjeros en Israel, que presente su ofrenda, ya sea de sus ofrendas votivas (de sus votos) o de sus ofrendas voluntarias, las cuales presenta al Señor como holocausto,

19 y e shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish of the bovine cattle of the sheep or of the goats.

para que les sea aceptada, ésta debe ser macho sin defecto del ganado, de los corderos o de las cabras.

20 B ut ye shall not offer any thing that has a blemish, for it shall not be acceptable for you.

Lo que tenga defecto, no lo ofrecerán, porque no les será aceptado.

21 L ikewise when anyone offers a sacrifice of peace unto the LORD to present his vow or a freewill offering in bovine cattle or sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

Cuando alguien ofrezca sacrificio de ofrenda de paz al Señor para cumplir un voto especial o como ofrenda voluntaria, del ganado o del rebaño, tiene que ser sin defecto para ser aceptado; no habrá imperfección en él.

22 B lind or broken or maimed or having a running sore or scurvy or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering on fire of them upon the altar of the LORD.

Los que estén ciegos, quebrados, mutilados, o con llagas purulentas, sarna o roña, no los ofrecerán al Señor, ni harán de ellos una ofrenda encendida sobre el altar al Señor.

23 A bullock or a lamb that has any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, thou may offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

En cuanto al buey o carnero que tenga un miembro deformado o atrofiado, podrán presentarlo como ofrenda voluntaria, pero por voto no será aceptado.

24 Y e shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised or crushed or broken or cut; neither shall ye do thus in all your land.

También cualquier animal con sus testículos magullados, aplastados, rasgados o cortados, no lo ofrecerán al Señor ni lo sacrificarán en su tierra;

25 N either from the son of a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these because their corruption is in them and blemishes are in them; they shall not be accepted for you.

tampoco aceptarán tales animales de mano de un extranjero por ofrenda como alimento para su Dios; porque su corrupción está en ellos, tienen defecto y no les serán aceptados.’”

26 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló a Moisés:

27 W hen a bullock or a sheep or a goat is born, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering on fire unto the LORD.

“Cuando nazca un ternero, un cordero o un cabrito, quedará siete días con su madre, y desde el octavo día en adelante será aceptable como sacrificio de ofrenda encendida al Señor.

28 A nd whether it is cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.

Pero, ya sea vaca u oveja, no matarán a ella y a su cría en el mismo día.

29 A nd when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it of your own free will.

Y cuando ofrezcan sacrificio de acción de gracias al Señor, lo sacrificarán para que sean aceptados.

30 O n the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow. I am the LORD.

Lo comerán en el mismo día, no dejarán nada de él para la mañana siguiente. Yo soy el Señor.

31 K eep, therefore, my commandments and do them. I am the LORD.

Así, pues, guardarán Mis mandamientos y los cumplirán. Yo soy el Señor.

32 P rofane ye not my holy name, and I will sanctify myself in the midst of the sons of Israel. I AM he who sanctifies you

“No profanarán Mi santo nombre, sino que seré santificado entre los Israelitas. Yo soy el Señor que los santifico,

33 a nd who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD.

que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto para ser su Dios. Yo soy el Señor.”
