1 ¶ I was sought of those that did not ask for me; I was found of those that did not seek me; I said, Here I am, Here I am, unto a people that did not invoke my name.

“Me dejé buscar por los que no preguntaban por Mí; Me dejé hallar por los que no Me buscaban. Dije: ‘Aquí estoy, aquí estoy,’ A una nación que no invocaba Mi nombre.

2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, who walk in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

Extendí Mis manos todo el día hacia un pueblo rebelde, Que anda por el camino que no es bueno, en pos de sus pensamientos.

3 a people that provokes me to anger continually to my face; that sacrifices in gardens, and burns incense upon altars of brick;

Es un pueblo que de continuo Me provoca en Mi propio rostro, Sacrificando en huertos y quemando incienso sobre ladrillos;

4 w ho remain asleep among the graves, and lodge in the deserts, who eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Que se sienta entre sepulcros y pasa la noche en lugares secretos; Que come carne de cerdo, Y en sus ollas hay caldo de carnes inmundas;

5 w ho say, Stand by thyself, do not come near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.

Que dice: ‘Quédate donde estás, no te acerques a mí, Porque soy más santo que tú.’ Estos son humo en Mi nariz, Fuego que arde todo el día.

6 B ehold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,

Esto está escrito delante de Mí: No guardaré silencio, sino que les daré su pago, Y les recompensaré en su seno,

7 F or your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, who have burned incense upon the mountains and blasphemed me upon the hills; therefore, I will measure their former work into their bosom.

Por sus iniquidades y por las iniquidades de sus padres también,” dice el Señor. “Porque quemaron incienso en los montes, Y en las colinas Me injuriaron; Por tanto mediré en su seno su obra pasada.”

8 ¶ Thus has the LORD said, As when one has found new wine in a cluster and says, Do not destroy it; for a blessing is in it; so will I do for my slaves’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

Así dice el Señor: “Como cuando se encuentra vino nuevo en el racimo Y alguien dice: ‘No lo destruyas, Porque en él hay bendición,’ Así haré Yo por Mis siervos Para no destruir los a todos.

9 A nd I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my elect shall possess the land for an inheritance, and my slaves shall dwell there.

Sacaré de Jacob descendencia Y de Judá heredero de Mis montes. Mis escogidos la heredarán, Y Mis siervos morarán allí.

10 A nd Sharon shall be for a fold of flocks and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

Sarón será pastizal (redil) para ovejas, Y el Valle de Acor para lugar de descanso de vacas, Para Mi pueblo que Me busca.

11 ¶ But ye that forsake the LORD, that forget the mountain of my holiness, that prepare a table unto fortune, and that furnish the drink offering for destiny;

Pero ustedes que abandonan al Señor, Que olvidan Mi santo monte, Que ponen mesa para el dios de la Fortuna, Y que preparan vino mezclado para el dios del Destino,

12 I also will destine you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter because when I called, ye did not respond; I spoke, and ye did not hear, but did evil before my eyes and did choose that which displeased me.

Yo los destinaré a la espada, Y todos ustedes se encorvarán para la matanza. Porque llamé, pero no respondieron, Hablé, pero no oyeron; Hicieron lo malo ante Mis ojos Y escogieron aquello que no me complacía.”

13 T herefore thus has the Lord GOD said, Behold, my slaves shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my slaves shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my slaves shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

Por tanto, así dice el Señor Dios: “Ciertamente Mis siervos comerán, pero ustedes tendrán hambre. Mis siervos beberán, pero ustedes tendrán sed. Mis siervos se alegrarán, pero ustedes serán avergonzados;

14 B ehold, my slaves shall rejoice by the joy of their heart, but ye shall cry for the sorrow of your heart and shall howl for the destruction of spirit.

Mis siervos darán gritos de júbilo con corazón alegre, Pero ustedes clamarán con corazón triste, Y con espíritu quebrantado gemirán.

15 A nd ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen; for the Lord GOD shall slay thee and call his slaves by another name.

Y dejarán su nombre como maldición a Mis escogidos. El Señor Dios te matará, Pero Mis siervos serán llamados por otro nombre.

16 H e who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth because the former troubles shall be forgotten and shall be covered from my eyes.

Porque el que es bendecido en la tierra, Será bendecido por el Dios de la verdad; Y el que jura en la tierra, Jurará por el Dios de la verdad. Porque han sido olvidadas las angustias primeras, Y porque están ocultas a Mis ojos.

17 ¶ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Por tanto, Yo creo cielos nuevos y una tierra nueva, Y no serán recordadas las cosas primeras ni vendrán a la memoria.

18 B ut ye shall be glad and rejoice from age to age in the things which I shall create; for, behold, I create joy unto Jerusalem and unto her people joy.

Pero gócense y regocíjense para siempre en lo que Yo voy a crear; pues voy a crear a Jerusalén para regocijo, Y a su pueblo para júbilo.

19 A nd I will be glad with Jerusalem and rejoice with my people: and the voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Me regocijaré por Jerusalén y Me gozaré por Mi pueblo. No se oirá más en ella Voz de lloro ni voz de clamor.

20 T here shall no longer be there an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days, for the child shall die one hundred years old; and he who sins at one hundred years of age shall be accursed.

No habrá más allí niño que viva pocos días, Ni anciano que no complete sus días. Porque el joven morirá a los cien años, Y el que no alcance los cien años Será considerado maldito.

21 A nd they shall build houses and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them.

Construirán casas y las habitarán, También plantarán viñas y comerán su fruto.

22 T hey shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of the trees shall be the days of my people, and my elect shall perpetuate the work of their hands.

No edificarán para que otro habite, Ni plantarán para que otro coma; Porque como los días de un árbol, así serán los días de Mi pueblo, Y Mis escogidos disfrutarán de la obra de sus manos.

23 T hey shall not labour in vain, nor give birth with fear; for their births are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring shall be with them.

No trabajarán en vano, Ni darán a luz para desgracia, Porque son la simiente de los benditos del Señor, Ellos, y sus vástagos con ellos.

24 A nd it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Y sucederá que antes que ellos clamen, Yo responderé; aún estarán hablando, y Yo habré oído.

25 T he wolf and the lamb shall be fed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not afflict nor do evil in all my holy mountain, said the LORD.

El lobo y el cordero pastarán juntos, y el león, como el buey, comerá paja, y para la serpiente el polvo será su alimento. No harán mal ni dañarán en todo Mi santo monte,” dice el Señor.
