1 ¶ These are the journeys of the sons of Israel who went forth out of the land of Egypt with their hosts under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Estas son las jornadas de los Israelitas, que salieron de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos, bajo la dirección de Moisés y Aarón.

2 A nd Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD. These are their journeys according to their goings out.

Moisés anotó los puntos de partida según sus jornadas, por el mandamiento del Señor, y éstas son sus jornadas, conforme a sus puntos de partida.

3 A nd they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the second day of the passover the sons of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

El mes primero salieron de Ramsés el día quince del mes primero; el día después de la Pascua, los Israelitas marcharon con mano poderosa a la vista de todos los Egipcios,

4 F or the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them, the LORD having also executed judgments upon their gods.

mientras los Egipcios sepultaban a todos sus primogénitos, a quienes el Señor había herido entre ellos. El Señor también había ejecutado juicios contra sus dioses.

5 A nd the sons of Israel removed from Rameses and pitched in Succoth.

Entonces los Israelitas salieron de Ramsés y acamparon en Sucot.

6 A nd they departed from Succoth and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

Salieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, que está en el extremo del desierto.

7 A nd they removed from Etham and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon, and they pitched before Migdol.

Salieron de Etam, se volvieron a Pi Hahirot, frente a Baal Zefón, y acamparon delante de Migdol.

8 A nd they departed from before Pihahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham and pitched in Marah.

Salieron de delante de Hahirot y cruzaron por en medio del mar hasta el desierto; y anduvieron tres días en el desierto de Etam y acamparon en Mara.

9 A nd they removed from Marah and came unto Elim, and in Elim were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees, and they pitched there.

Salieron de Mara y llegaron a Elim; y en Elim había doce fuentes de agua y setenta palmeras; y acamparon allí.

10 A nd they removed from Elim and encamped by the Red sea.

Salieron de Elim y acamparon junto al Mar Rojo.

11 A nd they removed from the Red sea and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

Salieron del Mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.

12 A nd they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin and encamped in Dophkah.

13 A nd they departed from Dophkah and encamped in Alush.

14 A nd they removed from Alush and encamped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

Salieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidim; allí fue donde el pueblo no tuvo agua para beber.

15 A nd they departed from Rephidim and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

16 A nd they removed from the desert of Sinai and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.

17 A nd they departed from Kibrothhattaavah and encamped at Hazeroth.

18 A nd they departed from Hazeroth and pitched in Rithmah.

35 A nd they departed from Ebronah and encamped at Eziongaber.

36 A nd they removed from Eziongaber and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

Salieron de Ezión Geber y acamparon en el desierto de Zin, esto es, Cades.

37 A nd they removed from Kadesh and pitched in Mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

Salieron de Cades y acamparon en el Monte Hor, al extremo de la tierra de Edom.

38 A nd Aaron, the priest, went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD and died there in the fortieth year, after the sons of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

Entonces el sacerdote Aarón subió al Monte Hor por mandato del Señor, y allí murió, el año cuarenta después que los Israelitas habían salido de la tierra de Egipto, el primer día del mes quinto.

39 A nd Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

Aarón tenía 123 años de edad cuando murió en el Monte Hor.

40 A nd King Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard how the sons of Israel had come.

Y el Cananeo, el rey de Arad que habitaba en el Neguev (región del sur), en la tierra de Canaán, oyó de la llegada de los Israelitas.

41 A nd they departed from Mount Hor and pitched in Zalmonah.

Entonces partieron del Monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmona.

42 A nd they departed from Zalmonah and pitched in Punon.

Salieron de Zalmona y acamparon en Punón.

43 A nd they departed from Punon and pitched in Oboth.

Salieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.

44 A nd they departed from Oboth and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.

Salieron de Obot y acamparon en Ije Abarim, en la frontera con Moab.

45 A nd they departed from Iim and pitched in Dibongad.

Salieron de Ije Abarim y acamparon en Dibón Gad.

46 A nd they removed from Dibongad and encamped in Almondiblathaim.

Salieron de Dibón Gad y acamparon en Almón Diblataim.

47 A nd they removed from Almondiblathaim and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

Salieron de Almón Diblataim y acamparon en los montes de Abarim, frente a Nebo.

48 A nd they departed from the mountains of Abarim and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan of Jericho.

Partieron de los montes de Abarim y acamparon en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó.

49 F inally they pitched by the Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.

Y acamparon junto al Jordán, desde Bet Jesimot hasta Abel Sitim, en las llanuras de Moab.

50 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan of Jericho, saying,

Entonces el Señor habló a Moisés en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó:

51 S peak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have passed the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“Habla a los Israelitas, y diles: ‘Cuando crucen el Jordán a la tierra de Canaán,

52 t hen ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and abolish all their paintings and abolish all their molten images and destroy all their high places,

expulsarán a todos los habitantes de la tierra delante de ustedes, y destruirán todas sus piedras grabadas, y destruirán todas sus imágenes fundidas, y demolerán todos sus lugares altos;

53 a nd ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell therein; for I have given you the land to inherit it.

y tomarán posesión de la tierra y habitarán en ella, porque les he dado la tierra para que la posean.

54 A nd ye shall inherit the land by lots by your families, and to those with the most ye shall give more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give less inheritance, each one’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falls; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

Heredarán la tierra por sorteo, por sus familias; a las más grandes darán más heredad, y a las más pequeñas darán menos heredad. Donde la suerte caiga a cada uno, eso será suyo. Heredarán conforme a las tribus de sus padres.

55 B ut if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come to pass that those whom ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides and shall afflict you in the land in which ye dwell.

Pero si no expulsan de delante de ustedes a los habitantes de la tierra, entonces sucederá que los que de ellos dejen serán como aguijones en sus ojos y como espinas en sus costados, y los hostigarán en la tierra en que habiten.

56 M oreover it shall come to pass that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

Y sucederá que como pensaba hacerles a ellos, así les haré a ustedes.’”
