1 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

И ми рече: Сине човешки, изправи се на нозете си, и ще ти говоря.

2 A nd spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me and set me upon my feet, and I heard him that spoke unto me.

И като ми говори, Духът влезе в мене и ме постави на нозете ми; и чух онзи, който ми говореше.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the sons of Israel, to rebellious Gentiles that have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have rebelled against me, even unto this very day.

И рече ми: Сине човешки, аз те изпращам при израилтяните, при бунтовни люде, които въстанаха против Мене; те и бащите им са престъпвали Моите думи дори до тоя днешен ден.

4 A nd to sons that have hard faces and strong hearts do I send thee; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said.

Тия чада, при които те изпращам, са безочливи и коравосърдечни; а ти да им думаш: Така казва Господ Иеова.

5 A nd they will not hear nor forbear (for they are a rebellious house), but they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

послушали или непослушали, (защото е бунтовен дом), пак те ще познаят, че е имало пророк всред тях.

6 ¶ And thou, son of man, do not be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, for they are rebels; though thou find thyself among thorns and thy dwelling be with briers, do not be afraid of their words, nor fear before them, for they are a rebellious house.

И ти, сине човешки, да се не плашиш от тях, и от думите им да се не убоиш, ако и да има тръни и бодили около тебе, и да живееш между скорпии; да се не убоиш от думите им, нито да се ужасяваш от погледите им, макар че са бунтовен дом.

7 A nd thou shalt speak my words unto them, but they will not hear nor forbear, for they are rebels.

И да им говориш думите Ми, или послушали или непослушали; защото са твърде бунтовни.

8 B ut thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Do not be rebellious like the rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat what I give thee.

Ти обаче, сине човешки, слушай това, което ти говоря; не ставай и ти бунтовник като тоя бунтовен дом; отвори устата си и изяж това, което ти давам.

9 A nd I looked, and behold, a hand was sent unto me; and in it was the roll of a book,

И като погледнах, ето ръка простряна към мене, и ето в нея свитък книга.

10 a nd he spread it before me; and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations and mourning and woes.

И той го разви пред мене. Писаното бе отвътре и отвън, в което бяха написани плачове, ридание и горко.
