1 ¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

И Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:

2 S on of man, set thy face against Jerusalem, and drop my word upon the sanctuaries, and prophesy over the land of Israel,

Сине човешки, насочи лицето си към Ерусалим, и направи да капне словото ти към светите места, и пророкувай против Израилевата земя;

3 a nd thou shalt say to the land of Israel, Thus hath the LORD said: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

И кажи на Израилевата земя: Така казва Господ: Ето, Аз съм против тебе, и като изтегля ножа Си из ножницата ще отсека от тебе и праведния и нечестивия.

4 S eeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

Прочее, понеже ще отсека от тебе и праведния и нечестивия, затова ножът Ми ще излезе из ножницата си против всяка твар, от юг до север;

5 t hat all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.

и всяка твар ще познае, че Аз Господ изтеглих ножа Си из ножницата му; няма да се върне вече.

6 C ry out therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness cry out before their eyes.

Затова ти, сине човешки, въздъхни; със съкрушен кръст и с огорчение въздъхни пред тях.

7 A nd it shall be, when they say unto thee, Why criest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings that come; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint; and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it comes and shall be brought to pass, said the Lord GOD.

И когато ти рекат: Защо въздишаш? кажи: Поради известието, че иде; всяко сърце ще се стопи, всичките ръце ще ослабват, всеки дух ще примре, и всичките колена ще станат като вода; ето, иде, и ще се сбъдне, казва Господ Иеова.

8 ¶ Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

И Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:

9 S on of man, prophesy and say, Thus hath the LORD said: Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

Сине човешки, пророкувай, казвайки: Така казва Господ: Речи: Меч! меч се остри, още се излъсква;

10 i t is sharpened to slay victims; it is furbished that it may glitter; should we then make mirth? it despises the rod of my son, as every tree.

остри се, за да извърши голямо клане; излъсква се, за да лъщи. Можем ли, прочее, да се веселим? Това е жезълът на сина ми, който презира всяко дърво.

11 A nd he has given it to be furbished, that it may be handled; this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

Даде се да се излъска да се държи в ръка; тоя меч е наострен и излъскан, за да се даде в ръката на погубителя.

12 C ry and howl, son of man, for it shall be upon my people; it shall be upon all the princes of Israel; fear of the sword shall be upon my people; therefore smite the thigh

Извикай и излелекай, сине човешки, защото той е върху людете Ми, върху всичките Израилеви първенци; ужас нападна людете Ми поради меча; затова, удари по бедрото си.

13 b ecause it shall be a trial. What shall be if it does not despise the rod? said the Lord GOD.

Защото има изпитание; и какво ако и презиращия жезъл не би съществувал вече, казва Господ Иеова?

14 T hou therefore, son of man, prophesy and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain; this is the sword of great slaughter that shall pierce them.

Ти, прочее, сине човешки, пророкувай, и изпляскай с ръце; и нека мечът удвои, нека мечът утрои, числото на ранените; той е мечът на ранените големци, който ще ви обсади отвред.

15 I have set the fear of the sword in all their gates, that their heart may faint and their ruins be multiplied; ah! it is made so that it might shine; it is prepared for the slaughter.

Нанесох ужаса на меча против всичките им порти, за да се стопи всяко сърце, и за да се спъват по-често. Уви! приготви се, за да блести, наточи се, за да коли.

16 G o one way or other, either on the right hand or on the left, wherever thy face is set.

Стегни се мечо, нападни надясно; насочи се, нападни наляво; където и да се обърне лицето ти.

17 I will also smite my hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest; I the LORD have spoken.

И Аз ще плесна с ръце и ще удовлетворя яростта Си. Аз Господ изговорих това.

18 ¶ The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

Господното слово дойде пак към мене и рече:

19 A lso, thou son of man, show two ways from where the sword of the king of Babylon comes: both shall come forth out of the same land and draw an army; at the head of the way to the city thou shalt do this.

При това, сине човешки, ти си определи два пътя, за да замине мечът на Вавилонския цар; и двата ще излизат от същата земя; и направи показалец, направи го при началото на пътя за града.

20 S how the way that the sword will come to Rabbath of the Ammonites and to Judah against Jerusalem, the defenced.

Определи път, за да мине мечът в Рава на амонците и в укрепения Ерусалим в Юда.

21 F or the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way at the head of the two ways to use divination; he made his arrows bright; he consulted with images; he looked in the liver.

Защото Вавилонският цар се спря при раздвояването на пътя, гдето започват двата пътя, за да почародествува; разтърси стрелите, допита се до терафимите, прегледа черния дроб.

22 T he divination was to his right hand upon Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth for the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

В десницата му е жребието за Ерусалим, за да се поставят стеноломи, да се даде заповед+ за клане, да се издигне глас с възклицание, да се поставят стеноломи срещу портите, да се издигнат могили, да се съградят крепости.

23 A nd it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to those that have sworn oaths; but he will call to remembrance the iniquity that they may be taken.

Но това ще бъде като суетно чародеяние пред очите на ония, които им се заклеха; обаче той ще им напомни беззаконието, за да се хванат.

24 T herefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, manifesting your betrayals and uncovering your sins in all your doings; for which ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

Затова, така казва Господ Иеова: Понеже направихте да се помни беззаконието ви с откриването на престъпленията ви, тъй щото да се явят греховете ви във всичките ви дела, - понеже направихте себе си да бъдете спомнени, ще бъдете хванати в ръце.

25 A nd thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come in the time when the iniquity shall be brought to an end,

А ти, смъртоносно ранени, скверни княже Израилев, чийто ден е настъпил, когато беззаконието е стигнало до края си,

26 t hus hath the Lord GOD said: Remove the diadem and take off the crown; it shall no longer be like this; I will exalt the one that is low and abase the one that is high.

така казва Господ Иеова: Снеми митрата и свали короната; тя няма вече да бъде такава; възвиси смирения, а смири възвисения.

27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it, and it shall be no more until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it unto him.

Аз ще я катурна, катурна, катурна, та и това няма да трае, докле дойде оня, комуто принадлежи; и нему ще я дам.

28 ¶ And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn for the slaughter; it is furbished to consume with brightness:

И ти сине човешки, пророкувай като речеш: Така казва Господ Иеова за амонците и за тяхното укоряване. Кажи: Меч, меч е изтеглен, излъскан, за да коли, и блестящ, за да изтреби,

29 T hey prophesy vanity unto thee; they divine a lie unto thee, to give thee over among the necks of the wicked who are sentenced to death, whose day is come in the time when the iniquity shall be brought to an end.

докато те виждат за тебе суетно видение, и докато чародествуват на тебе лъжа, от което ще бъдеш прострян на врата на смъртно ранените нечестивци, чиито ден е настъпил, когато беззаконието е стигнало до края си.

30 S hall I cause it to return into its sheath? I must judge thee in the place where thou wast raised, in the land of where thou hast lived.

Върни го в ножницата му. На мястото гдето си бил създаден, в родната ти земя, ще те съдя.

31 A nd I will pour out my indignation upon thee; I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath and deliver thee into the hand of fearful men who are skilful to destroy.

Ще излея негодуванието Си върху тебе, с огнения Си гняв ще духна върху тебе, и ще те предам в ръцете на скотски мъже, които са вещи да погубят.

32 T hou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt no longer be remembered: for I the LORD have spoken.

Ще станеш гориво за огън; кръвта ти ще бъде всред земята ти; не ще има вече спомен за тебе; защото Аз Господ изговорих това.
