1 ¶ Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were born sons after the flood.

2 T he sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.

Яфетови синове: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Яван, Тувал, Мосох и Тирас.

3 A nd the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah.

А Гомерови синове: Асханаз, Рифат и Тогарма.

4 A nd the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim.

А Яванови синове: Елисей, Тарсис, Китим и Доданим.

5 B y these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands, each one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

От тях се разделиха островите на народите, в техните земи, всеки според езика си, според племето си, в народите си.

6 ¶ And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.

Хамови синове: Хус, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.

7 A nd the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

А Хусови синове: Сева, Евила, Савта, Раама и Савтека; а Раамови синове: Шева и Дедан.

8 A nd Cush begat Nimrod. He began to be powerful in the earth.

Хус роди и Нимрода. Той пръв стана силен на земята.

9 H e was a powerful hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, Even as Nimrod, the powerful hunter before the LORD.

Той беше голям ловец пред Господа: затова се казва: Като Нимрода, голям Ловец пред Господа.

10 A nd the beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh in the land of Shinar.

Първо тоя царува над Вавилон Ерех, Акад и Халне, в Сенаарската земя.

11 O ut of that land went forth Asshur, who built Nineveh and the city Rehoboth and Calah

От тая земя излезе и отиде в Асирия, та съгради Ниневия, Роовот-Ир, Халах

12 a nd Resen between Nineveh and Calah; the same is a great city.

и Ресен между Ниневия и Халах (който е големия град).

13 A nd Mizraim begat Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim

А Мицраим роди Лудим, Анамим, Леавим, Нафтухим.

14 a nd Pathrusim and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistines) and Caphtorim.

Патрусим, Каслухим (от които произлязоха филистимците) и Кафторим.

15 ¶ And Canaan begat Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth

А Ханаан роди: първородния си син Сидон, после Хет,

16 a nd Jebusite and Amorite and Girgasite

евусейците, аморейците, гергесейците,

17 a nd Hivite and Arkite and Sinite

евейците, арукейците, асенейците,

18 a nd Arvadite and Zemarite and Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

арвадците, цемарейците и аматейците; и след това ханаанските племена се пръснаха.

19 A nd the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar unto Gaza, as thou goest, unto Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

Пределът на ханаанците беше от Сидон, като се отива за Герар до Газа, и като се отива за Содом и Гомор, Адма и Цевоим да Лаша.

20 T hese are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

Тия са Хамовите синове в земите си, в народите си, според племената си, според езиците си.

21 ¶ Unto Shem also, the father of all the sons of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, even to him were sons born.

Родиха се тъй също чада на Сима, баща на всичките Еверовци и по-стар брат на Яфета.

22 T he sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

Симови синове: Елам, Асур, Арфаксад, Луд и Арам.

23 A nd the sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

А Арамови синове: Уз, Ул, Гетер и Маш.

24 A nd Arphaxad begat Salah, and Salah begat Eber.

И Арфаксад роди Сала, а Сала роди Евера.

25 A nd unto Eber were born two sons; the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

И на Евера се родиха двама сина; името на единия беше Фалек защото в неговите дни се разпредели земята; а името на брата му беше Иоктан.

26 A nd Joktan begat Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

Иоктан роди Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Яраха.

27 H adoram, Uzal, Diklah,

Адорама, Узала, Дикла,

28 O bal, Abimael, Sheba,

Овала, Авимаила, Шева,

29 O phir, Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

Офира, Евила и Иовава; всички тия бяха Иоктанови синове.

30 A nd their dwelling was from Mesha as thou goest unto Sephar, mount of the east.

Техните поселения бяха от Меша, като се отива за Сефар, източната планина.

31 T hese are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Тия са Симовите синове в земите си, според племената си, според езиците си, според народите си.

32 T hese are the families of the sons of Noah, after their descendants, in their nations; and by these were the Gentiles divided in the earth after the flood.

Тия са племената на Ноевите синове според поколенията им, в народите им; и от тях се отделиха народите по земята след потопа.
